Al Khalidiah Resort in Sharjah City

As sharjah has paid parking, thus place has free parking area, swiming pool is open , suitable for both kids and adults, food is Asian kind of Indian, I had to eat out.

I stayed here with family for 7 days, and everything was pefect. Food was so tasty and delicous, everyday was different t choice, we had breakfast lunch and dinner. The staff was very helpful and kind. Rooms were very clean, they clean our rooms every day, Swiming pool was also very clean, they give us towels for pool everyday. They had a free bus also, that you can go to Dubai Mall outlet and back. I really recommend this hotel, I'll come back 100%.

I had a chance to relax in this hotel in November 2023. I got a standard room on the first floor of building A (to the left of the pool and restaurant). In the room: a large double bed with bedside tables, a chest of drawers with drawers and a mirror, a large built-in wardrobe with shelves and hangers, a refrigerator built into the TV stand. There is no balcony, but from the panoramic windows there is a view of the neighboring house and the hotel wall (I never opened the curtains!). The bathroom is equipped with a shower stand (separated by a glass partition), a small washbasin and plumbing fixtures (toilet + bidet). The supply of soap and shampoo (miniature packaging) was replenished daily. The air conditioner and fan were constantly on (I did not change the settings on the remote control, I was comfortable). Meals (half board) - according to the hotel class. Breakfast - you won't leave hungry (eggs, chopped vegetables, cheeses, cereals, cereals + instant coffee and tea bags). Dinner is different every day (soup, rice, meat/chicken or fish, baked and canned vegetables, several salads with and without dressing, sliced ​​oranges and watermelon, sweet desserts). At breakfast, the waiters constantly asked whether I would have lunch or dinner (most likely so as not to cook too much). Al Khan Beach is 5-8 minutes away at a leisurely pace (crossing busy roads). At the entrance, they sometimes asked for a voucher (and the entry price was 10 AED). Twice in the morning you could get to the beach by a hotel minibus and, accordingly, twice in the afternoon it picked you up from the sea. Beach towels were provided at the reception desk. I didn’t use the hotel pool (but the kids were constantly frolicking there). There are several shops and restaurants/bars within walking distance. The holiday was a great success! I recommend this hotel to unpretentious tourists who come to swim, sunbathe and travel around the Emirates and not sit in their room and eat their fill! On a subsequent visit, I will consider it as the main option for accommodation!

We rested with my husband and two children in this hotel in May 2023. Overall, we liked it. But there are both pros and cons here. If you like everything to be 5+, then this is definitely not the place for you. A huge plus is the location to the Persian Gulf. 5 minutes walk, across the road, with roundabout. Entrance to the city beach is free, with a voucher. The beach is sandy. Sun beds and umbrellas are available for a fee. The water is clear. You can see fish, crabs and stingrays. The city center is a 15-minute drive. There is a free shuttle service to the most popular shopping centers. On site there is a swimming pool, some sun loungers, tables and chairs for relaxing. A huge minus of the hotel is its condition. It is outdated and requires renovation. Our room was located on the first floor overlooking the pool. Consists of a combined bathroom, corridor and large room. It contains a small refrigerator, air conditioning, a chest of drawers with a mirror, a dining table, chairs, two bedside tables, a double bed and a double bed, but since we were vacationing with two children + additional space was provided free of charge. It was an ordinary playpen, without a mattress. As it turned out, they didn’t have a mattress and they brought us a warm blanket instead. We agreed that it would be suitable. The room was pretty worn out, as was the pool. There is mold everywhere, tiles are falling off, stains from flooding, and everything in the same spirit. Service We got from Dubai airport by transfer. We’re used to it, so a bus picks us up and a bunch of vacationers are taken to hotels. Here we were taken to a Lux class car with a leather interior. The entire journey from the airport to the hotel takes 20/30 minutes, depending on road traffic. Cleaning and change of bed linen once a day, everything is clean and tidy. When they left the chocolate, they also sprinkled us with a lemon freshener. We had check-out at 4.00, transfer to Sharjah airport. But there was already a bus and the whole journey took 2 hours. So if you want to sleep, call a taxi. In the evening, at the reception, we asked to leave breakfast with us to the airport. We collected as many as 8 containers for 4 people (sausages, bread, butter, cheese, boiled eggs). Food Meals were All Inclusive, including locally produced drinks (juices, tea, coffee). The food is very tasty, somehow everything is like home. This is not Egypt, that the tables are bursting with abundance. Everything is modest, but very tasty. The waiters are darling. They are always friendly, smiling, and treat children with tenderness and love. - For breakfast: porridge, grilled vegetables, cereal, eggs in different types depending on the day of the week, and with them sausages, baked goods, cheese, butter, tea and coffee. Sometimes they gave us pancakes and mini pizza. - Lunch: soup or borscht, grilled vegetables, chicken/beef, side dish of potatoes or pasta, watermelon, cakes, 2/3 types of salads, pickles, drinks (if you have All Inclusive) - Dinner is basically no different from lunch. We have just returned from the UAE, we lived in Al Khalidiah 3* Sharjah. I really want to share my good impressions. I’ll say right away that the hotel is quiet, family-run, small in size, and there is no luxury or anything like that... But the staff is responsive, attentive to the requests of the guests. They monitor cleanliness here, the room was cleaned every day, towels were changed every two days and bed linen was changed upon request. I would like to repair the pool bowl, but the water is clean and refreshing, and there is always a place near the pool. The hotel provides free transfer to 3 malls in Sharjah and to the beach. We always walked to the beach early in the morning, 5-7 minutes no more. The beach is clean, the sea is gorgeous. It’s hot, it’s been hot since 8 am, so we had breakfast at 7 am and quickly went to the sea. Nearby is the Sharjah Aquarium, a smaller copy of the Dubai Aquarium. We went on three excursions, booked excursions in Sharjah, through Anna, in advance through telegram, it was cheaper than with a hotel guide. I don’t recommend contacting individual guides at all, it’s expensive and a waste of time. Apparently they were tired of the guests. About food. I would especially like to mention the hotel restaurant; we took half board, and that was enough. The food is delicious, not very varied, but of high quality. We were always full, each of my picky eating relatives found food to taste. Lots of meat and vegetables, and everything in Russian: soups, side dishes, salads, fruits, desserts. Outside the territory we bought shawarma once, no one liked it. Next to the hotel on the road to the beach there is a small supermarket, cafes, a large Nesto supermarket is a 15-20 minute walk away. We liked the hotel, the holiday was a success, we are positive. You can, of course, walk around and cling to everything imperfect, but we don’t have this bad habit.

We had a family vacation at the hotel at the end of September 2023. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who quickly checked us in, explaining all the amenities available to us during our stay. The room was good, clean and comfortable. Comfortable bed and clean linens. The bathroom was well equipped with toiletries. The room was cleaned every day. The food is excellent, the food is very tasty, every day, something new, everything is homemade. The products are fresh, the dishes are delicious. The hotel has a swimming pool where we spent time in the evenings. There were always enough sun loungers. The beach is a 7-minute walk from the hotel, clean and well-groomed. This is a big plus. Beach towels were taken from the reception. The hotel has shuttles to the beach and shops which is very convenient. I also liked the hotel's proximity to various attractions in Sharjah. There were many parks and embankments along which we walked. We went on excursions. We had a wonderful time. The vacation was a 100% success! The hotel is very cozy, family-run, homely, everything was comfortable. I recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday in Sharjah. The hotel left us with the warmest memories and we were able to completely reboot. I wholeheartedly recommend the hotel and will gladly return here.
