Just a wonderful experience at Bell in the Woods. The service was excellent and the 3 course breakfast was unbelievable! Super responsive host. Super clean rooms. Laundry is available for guests to use with detergent provided. We stayed in the Salmon Suite which is very spacious with a full kitchen, huge bathroom and a private outside entrance. We paired our stay with Blue Ice Fishing Charters for fishing and a glacier tour. We could not have asked for a better trip. Thanks for making our Alaskan vacation perfect!

Hands down, Bell in the Woods BNB is the best. The rooms are so beautifully decorated, and the bed is very comfortable! Lots of extra touches throughout the house, and also water, tea, and coffee are always available, and the homemade desserts are just fantastic and are available around the clock! Nikki, EV, and Gerda always greet you with amazing smiles and make you feel at home. They also make the most amazing breakfasts. Yana, the owner, has a dream team working for her. We will miss all of them and will for sure come back to Seward and stay here!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Bell in the Woods B&B and would absolutely recommend it.

The property is incredibly cozy, spotless, and very well cared for. You can tell a lot of thought goes into every detail. They provide everything you might need, from plenty of towels and toiletries to tea, coffee, and snacks, which made us feel right at home.

Breakfast was delicious, and the hospitality was exceptional. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great stay.

Our only suggestion would be to offer more savory breakfast options. We personally find a savory breakfast more energizing than a sweet one, but that’s simply a preference and didn’t take away from our experience.

Overall, a fantastic place to stay in Seward. We’d happily stay here again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We would give Bell in the Woods more than 5 stars if possible. We stayed in the Salmon Suite which was the size of a one bedroom apartment with full kitchen and huge walk-in shower. Everything you could possible want was in the suite and attention to fine details was evident by fresh flowers, luxury linens, bath robes and towels. It was the perfect respite after a long day of adventures. Although it was a few minutes drive from Seward, we appreciated the woods and quiet. The breakfasts were awesome and so delicious. We had dietary restrictions and they were easily and deliciously accommodated. Wonderful afternoon hand baked treats were provided in the lobby area daily. We have never stayed in a more hospitable B&B and would love to come back and highly recommend as the place to stay in Seward!

We stayed in Bell in the Woods for 3 days, and it was absolutely wonderful! Firstly, the owner is absolutely lovely, she goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect - it felt like we were being welcomed into her home, not just a holiday accommodation. Not only is the host lovely, she is also a fabulous chef - the 3 course gourmet breakfasts are an absolute treat, we even had a 'to-go bag' on our final morning as we had to leave early, it was a delicious packed full breakfast burrito! In addition to this, there are home baked treats that are available during check-in hours and tea and coffee available to self-serve throughout the whole stay! Bell in the Woods is cosy, modern and in a peaceful location, but super close to Seward Harbour - don't book a generic hotel, we would highly recommend a stay at this gorgeous B&B!! Thanks so much for looking after us - Sam and Matt :-)

We were looking for a place to stay in Seward during our recent Alaska adventure earlier this month, and I'm so glad that we found Bell in the Woods. When we arrived after an arduous drive in the rain, there were baked goods, as well as coffee and tea, waiting for us (which they do on a regular basis). Our room was very clean and comfortable. The two breakfasts that we had were exceptional. And it was a short drive (roughly 10 minutes) to downtown Seward. If we find ourselves in that neck of the woods again (which might be likely considered how much my wife and I enjoyed this trip), we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Here they deliver as advertised. Stay if you enjoy communing with other guests and staff. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. The B&B is in the temperate rainforest and a few steps from the river. We stayed in the Mt. Marathon room which is the largest aside from the apartment-type rooms. It has a comfy king size bed, spacious bathroom, 2 side chairs and plenty of places to either hang or store clothes and luggage. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. A coffee/tea station is available all day along with home-baked cookies and muffins. The other indoor and outdoor seating areas are welcoming. While inviting, we didn't take advantage of the outdoor patio due to weather.

We had a fantastic stay at Bell in the Woods. The location is just a few minutes outside of Seward and very quiet. The owner was very accommodating, allowing us to check-in a little early and providing us an early breakfast so that we could make it to our glacier tour. Our room was modern, clean, neat, and updated. We had plenty of room to relax and enjoyed the quiet nights. Breakfast is delicious--three courses of gourmet home-cooked food that keeps you going all morning long. We definitely recommend a stay here while visiting Seward.
