We took the 7 1/2 hour boat tour on the hotel’s affiliate Spirit of Adventure. Weather didn’t cooperate — rained all day and water was a little rough for many of the passengers. Conveniently located right on the harbor. The Major Marine Boat Tours office is located in the lobby, so that’s as far as we got. The staff seemed nice and there is ample parking just across the street. Beautiful views from the docks behind the hotel.

Harbor 360 was my favorite hotel during our trip to Alaska. It was right next to the train depot and small boat harbor so very convenient for the activities we had planned. Feels like a motel and is priced as a luxury hotel. Simple rooms, busy, very small waiting area. Good location for boat tours and across from the train station. Close to a couple of restaurants but far from downtown Seaward, aprox 1.5 miles. You can check in your luggage at the reception in the morning for the train ride in the evening to Anchorage. Seward is great for a relaxing staycation. This hotel offered me great view from the wide window. Room is clean and well decorated. Friendly staff and convenient access to lot of restaurants. Just little bit far from grocery stores.

We were pleased with the amenities of the room and the hotel in all ways. Our visit was delightful! The staff were polite and professional and provided all the assistance we asked for.

The hotel was very nice and in a great location. It was only a two min walk to all the restaurants and the Sealife Center. The room was very nice and clean and Paulette at the front desk was very nice and gave us some great restaurant recommendations. We were so fortunate to have our stay in Seward be at the Bell in the Woods. The house was super clean and our room felt like home - wonderful bed and bath. The breakfasts were amazing as Yana is a fabulous chef. It was close to downtown Seward, too. We'd definitely recommend this to others and promise a wow and delight experience!

Host was very responsive and the B&B was so cute and cozy! Great for couples and families. I would recommend this amazing B&B to anyone and everyone! We stayed in the larger suite (4 of us) which was well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfasts were hands down AMAZING! Made fresh each morning, true bed and breakfast style puts you at a table with strangers who quickly become lovely acquaintances that you can swap Alaska stories with!

I stayed here with my fiance after a long day of sea kayaking in Seward. Yana's place was the perfect spot to unwind after a full day of adventure. She makes an incredible breakfast and had homemade baked goods available all day. Totally recommend Bell in the Woods!

This place is great! Everything is clean and is in a very short distance to Kenai Fjord National Park. The owner are also very nice and makes sure that we arrived safely.

This is a great property! Cute and homey with coffee and tea supplied daily. The only thing I would change are the beds. They are a little worn out and are full size. They really need to be queen size to sleep comfortably for two. Management is attentive to your needs and promptly sees to all your needs. I would recommend this property.

Lovely modern airy room in building on quiet street near just about everything; waterfront park, shopping, restaurants. It was a surprize because I didnt know about the serve yourself breakfast. We stayed in the Sunrise Suite, their nicest apartment. Kitchen was well-equipped, it was quiet, and there was a lot of room to spread out. If you have a smallish child, there is a separate little tiny bedroom, that if I was a kid I would have loved. Be aware, this place is old (read vintage) nothing like a new hotel. Right downtown, a block from Seward Brewing, and mostly next door to Seward Alehouse

This is a unique place. Probably not a good idea for people with mobility issues with the stairs and claw foot tub. The location is convenient to tourist areas and restaurants.

We stayed here for a couple nights and it was good. Frankly, most of the rooms do not have a view of the harbor due to other buildings that have been built in the way, but it wasn't a big deal to us. Location is great for price. Surprisingly quiet rooms and location. Actually had a microwave, which is a low bar but some places in Seward don't have. Based on mailmen, they do update appliances. They have outlets that work. Their remotes work. There lighting could be brighter and the toilets could be higher, but everything else makes sense. I liked there was windows on two different walls. Had a fantastic stay here during our trip to Seward. Mary was super helpful when our excursion got cancelled and we needed to stay extra days. The location is great, walkable to both downtown and the harbor. Would definitely recommend checking out Woody's Thai across the street if you stay here!

Mary at the front desk is awesome. She remembers me year to year. Rooms are nice soft beds. Walking distance pretty much anything in Seward because all of Seward is a walking distance to each other. Nothing to complain about and nicer than other places in Seward that would cost double.

Orca island is magical and we feel lucky to have been able to experience it, we truly enjoyed our time there. We stayed 2 nights and were able to kayak and do the WWII bunker hike. We sat around the fire at night and watched the sunsets with fellow travelers. We mostly wore tennis shoes and hiking boots for the activities and lots of layers. I have never experienced a place like Orca Island. We ended our honeymoon with a two night stay here and what a way to end! We hiked to the old world War II bunker that had all of the views, enjoyed every observation deck and all of the kayaking. It was such a great experience !

If you are looking for shiny, new and fancy, don't stay here. The rooms were clean and the hotel is like a museum with a rich history including some ghosts (I didn't see any, but a plaque outside mentions some). This hotel was interesting, but I wouldn't go back. I think it's wonderful they're trying to preserve the history, but things are very old and we had to carry our luggage up the stairs to the third floor. Maybe if you're more into old buildings, this will be for you. Parking is a distance away, but the staff was friendly.

Great for staying at Seward on a budget. Centrally located close to all the action. Try the Cookery for dinner and the Yukon Bar for live music and drinks. I wouldn't recommend this place if you tend to spend time in the hotel room during trips. It's a great place to sleep. Free coffee and wifi.

Danny was the hotel manager during our two-night stay for our honeymoon in Alaska. While we enjoyed this historic hotel and our room was nice, it was really Danny who made this a great experience. He was always around with helpful information about whatever we were doing. He was also just great to talk to. We're so glad we picked this hotel right in the middle of Seward!

The staff was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Unfortunately never told me how to connect to the wifi. Thr room was very clean but quite outdated, which i understand because i have pets but i did expect it to be nicer for the price i paid. No breakfast included which was a bummer

The scrambled eggs, home fries, bacon & toast were so yummy. Hot & steaming too boot. Room was exceptionally clean & comfortable. Staff was very helpful with a lil project I needed to finish & they found me a few items I forgot to bring. Lots of parking available in the fall

We've stayed twice. Very clean, accommodating, and comfortable. Great for family. Stairs to top unit. If trouble with stairs, rent the bottom unit. Both are lovely. Quick walk to Ressurection coffee.

We loved our stay at the Front Row B&B! The location couldn’t be beat!! We lounged in the relaxing common space and prepared some simple meals in the extremely well equipped kitchen. A great place to hang out on a rainy morning, afternoon and/or evening!
