Harbor 360 Hotel Seward, Seward1 / 11
8.7
Seward, 1412 4th Avenue, 99664 Syuard, Alyaska, SShA (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Harbor 360 in Seward. The rooms were comfy and clean. We would definitely go back. Their staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. We needed to store our bags before check-in time and after check-out, as well, and they were very accommodating. The free breakfast was very well done. It is a busy hotel, but they do everything right!
Perfect location- walking distance from train and cruise pier. They will transfer your luggage to/from both. Every staff member we dealt with was so helpful and friendly! Room was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!
WOW! What a great hotel, beautiful view on the Harbor side and convenient for their harbor and bay tours. They had an excellent buffet breakfast, and the rooms were very nice and made up every day. A wonderful experience!
Great location with stunning views! It’s conveniently close to restaurants and nearby attractions. Breakfast was included in our stay and was actually quite good. The rooms were decent — nothing fancy but comfortable enough. The pool is on the smaller side, so it’s just okay for a quick dip.
This was the perfect hotel for our needs and stay- loved the balcony room facing the marina! The complementary breakfast is solid and it was the perfect spot to stay as we had to meet in the lobby quite early for our Major Marine cruise - we didn't have to leave the premise and could enjoy breakfast while we waited to board. It is a bit further from "downtown" but there is a free shuttle during the...
Spectacular location. Amazing Staff. Wonder breakfast.

Seward is great for a relaxing staycation. This hotel offered me great view from the wide window. Room is clean and well decorated. Friendly staff and convenient access to lot of restaurants. Just little bit far from grocery stores.
We were pleased with the amenities of the room and the hotel in all ways. Our visit was delightful! The staff were polite and professional and provided all the assistance we asked for.
Enjoyed our stay, room was clean and comfy. Staff was helpful and we were able to check in a bit early.
5 Star service! incredible and freindly staff eager to help. Seward was my favorite place of our entire Alaska trip!
The hotel was very nice and in a great location. It was only a two min walk to all the restaurants and the Sealife Center. The room was very nice and clean and Paulette at the front desk was very nice and gave us some great restaurant recommendations. Would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay here again the next time we visit
Staff is always very helpful, we stay there every year after tourist season. very convenient location. The web site had it as pet friendly, staff was very helpful and friendly about this issue Next morning they told us that other 3 reservations had similar problems, web site had made mistake Still place is clean and love the ladies that take care of the front counter. Highly recommend this place...

Seward, 13881 Bruno Rd (9 km from centre) 🧭 Map
We were looking for a place to stay in Seward during our recent Alaska adventure earlier this month, and I'm so glad that we found Bell in the Woods. When we arrived after an arduous drive in the rain, there were baked goods, as well as coffee and tea, waiting for us (which they do on a regular basis). Our room was very clean and comfortable. The two breakfasts that we had were exceptional. And...
Here they deliver as advertised. Stay if you enjoy communing with other guests and staff. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. The B&B is in the temperate rainforest and a few steps from the river. We stayed in the Mt. Marathon room which is the largest aside from the apartment-type rooms. It has a comfy king size bed, spacious bathroom, 2 side chairs and plenty of places to either hang or store...
We had a fantastic stay at Bell in the Woods. The location is just a few minutes outside of Seward and very quiet. The owner was very accommodating, allowing us to check-in a little early and providing us an early breakfast so that we could make it to our glacier tour. Our room was modern, clean, neat, and updated. We had plenty of room to relax and enjoyed the quiet nights. Breakfast is delicious...
Wonderful breakfast; beautiful property. Bed and linens super-comfy! The robes are cozy too!
1. Very nice owners 2. comfortable rooms 3. safe, quiet, easy parking 4. outstanding breakfast
My wife loves this place and gave it her approval. Bed was perfect for us. Best sleep we got the entire trip.

The word "Breakfast" SHOULD NOT be in the description of this Inn ... It was clean ,
I loved the location and property and room itself- they have taken care of everything- Loved the interior and decor of these rooms along with ample amount of space - Interiors looks all new and unique-plus the cute common kitchen was a bonus- Location is so picturesque- right along the coastal area
Good It was okay.. super close to everything and the view from the deck was spectacular.
The Sea Treasure Inn was a wonderful stay, offering both comfort and charm. The rooms were spotless and cozy, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. One of the highlights was the upper porch, the perfect spot to sit back, enjoy the fresh air, and watch the late evening sun paint the sky. It struck the right balance between a welcoming atmosphere and simple comforts, making it a place I’d...
Easy check in. Cute and clean property. Felt very quiet and safe. Host was incredibly quick to respond with questions. I highly recommend this place.
Lovely modern airy room in building on quiet street near just about everything; waterfront park, shopping, restaurants. It was a surprize because I didnt know about the serve yourself breakfast. Items were in the fridge or cabinet and you mafe your own. The common area is accessed directly from your room. The rooms are accessed with a code which you receive in advance and you never actually see...

It was nice that a fan and a hair dryer were in the room. We had a nice, quiet stay.
The staff are incredibly friendly, the room was clean and quiet, easy to walk to plenty of shops and restaurants, and there’s a laundromat next door. Had a great weekend in Seward.
This place is great! Everything is clean and is in a very short distance to Kenai Fjord National Park. The owner are also very nice and makes sure that we arrived safely.
Perfect! Quite possibly the nicest, cleanest and most comfortable small lodging that we have ever stayed in!
Cute This sweet room was perfect for our overnight. Clean and homelike! Loved the coffee!! Such a nice surprise when we arrived.
This is a great property! Cute and homey with coffee and tea supplied daily. The only thing I would change are the beds. They are a little worn out and are full size. They really need to be queen size to sleep comfortably for two. Management is attentive to your needs and promptly sees to all your needs. I would recommend this property.

Seward, 225 4th Avenue (in the centre) 🧭 Map
We stayed in the Sunrise Suite, their nicest apartment. Kitchen was well-equipped, it was quiet, and there was a lot of room to spread out. If you have a smallish child, there is a separate little tiny bedroom, that if I was a kid I would have loved. Be aware, this place is old (read vintage) nothing like a new hotel. Right downtown, a block from Seward Brewing, and mostly next door to Seward Alehouse
Very fun to stay in such a retro hotel. Everything was very clean, the bed is great, and love the claw-foot tub!
Love the location. Had a great sty.
Traveller Large apartment style room. Full-size kitchen with cooking and serving ware. Clean and Comfortable. Away from the cruise liner and pier traffic. Right in the middle of downtown Seward. Parking is a bit of a hassle being downtown. Highly recommend.
This is a unique place. Probably not a good idea for people with mobility issues with the stairs and claw foot tub. The location is convenient to tourist areas and restaurants.
I totally dug this place. My bride, not so much. We stayed in the Sunrise Suite which is garage sale decorated, but, as I said, I totally dug it. It's really cool-funky. I mean the place is heated with radiators. Haven't seen that since I left Annapolis, Maryland in 1956 when I was six. Ultra centrally located. If you want to drink and not drive, this place is for you. And the continuum of...

Excellent location, clean and tidy rooms
Very clean and very helpful in arranging transportation. Thermostat only allowed heat and we had to open a window to cool the room down.
Walking distance to the harbor and downtown. Right off the free shuttle route. Staff was great. Beds and pillows were unfortunately very uncomfortable.
Quiet and relaxing. Great if traveling without a car as is 1/2 way between train station and the downtown area. It is also right on the free shuttle route with a convenient stop, so is easy to get to Safeway grocery store at far end of town There is a fridge and microwave in the room! The front desk staff is delightful and offer free bear spray. Mount Marathon and Twin Lakes trails as well as paved...
Harborview Inn is a yes The check in people were very friendly gave great recommendations for eating places, the room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.
Below standards. The toilet seat was soiled upon arrival. extra pillows were in the drawer and not on the bed. had to ask for them after an uncomfortable night of sleep and were told they were in the dresser. Activities were within walking distance. Hotel staff was very friendly. Photos are deceiving. rooms are cramped and small. We had a room with one queen.

Seward, Humpy Cove, Resurrection Bay, 99664 Kenay, Alyaska, SShA (16 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Think of Orca Island as an elevated camping experience on a yurt. No AC, no heat with the exception of fireplace. If you want remote this is it for you. As advertised there is zero cell service and wifi which is lovely. TBH for being $1000 per night we wouldn’t stay here again. There is zero amenities, you pack your own food and ice and there is a compostable bathroom with poo pouri. You do get free...
Wow. This place is beautifully set up. The Stellar Jay yurt has a battery operated lantern. Bring a headlight! No internet which is absolutely fine- stay outside and enjoy the views. We saw a bear picking up lunch from the salmon river around the bend, by the waterfall, & that was incredible. We lit a fire and other guests joined us and made S'Mores. The boat ride to Orca Island was enjoyable. We went...
The ocean view was spectacular with teal waters and islands and mountains all around. The cabins are located in a cove, so it is safe for kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards, all available for use. They even provided dry suits for us. The cabin was very comfortable and clean. At night, it was very quiet. The staff were very friendly, going beyond to be helpful. One person even helped my son fish...
What can I say about Orca Island other than Amazing. From the moment that we arrived at the dock, we were met by friendly people, and everything was so well organized. Simon, our captain took us on a wonderful boat ride to the island pointing out wildlife as we went. Everybody was so helpful and made our stay perfect. You can’t beat the views. It’s so incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We had one day...
I like everything it’s our first time , when we don’t have complain about anything 🙌🙌🙌10/10 totally recommend , it’s the best place
This place was amazing! The staff were so kind and accommodating! The yurts were so cozy and comfortable. There were so many activities you could do or just relax. I love that there was no wifi or internet so we could unplug and really be present. The views were amazing and the wildlife was abundant. It was worth every penny! I will definitely be going back!

Seward, 308 Adams Street, 99664 Syuard, Alyaska, SShA (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Bathroom was clean. If you just need a place to stay, this place gets the job done. Staff was friendly. Needs some updates, but I was safe and slept peacefully.
The Hotel is old and historic and has a lot of potential. The room we were assigned initially was a two bedroom suite with a shared bath, however, the set up was strange and the shared bath was a sink in one bed room and a toilet and shower in the other bedroom, not a good set up when traveling with 4 adults. Sash, the reception lady was very nice and moved our rooms. The new rooms were cozy but...
liked interior decor. very historic. outside looked like it was decaying at places. no elevator and no breakfast. the lock on the door at our room was very hard to open with the key.
Van Gilder Hotel The place is a little run down but our stay was fine. Love the architecture, quiet and in the center of town an easy walk to everything. If you want a 5 star hotel this isnt for you but my wife and I liked it a lot. If we ever come back to Seward will definitely stay here again.
Hotel is a bit rough around the edges but very convenient and a fair value for the money. I was intrigued by the history and happy to find the free shuttle bus stop right across the street. The hostess was lovely and very helpful even loaning me her raincoat for the evening. I would stay again.
Tolerable One night stay. The van gilder is an old hotel. It is registered on the national historic register and it's possible they've done little to improve things since achieving that feat. The bed was tolerable, but the shower needs help. It was either hotbor cold.

Staff very friendly and super helpful. Restaurant and bar across the parking lot made for easy eat/drink opportunity.
Room was smelling of mold. Mattress was not in go shape. Very outdated.
The staff was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Unfortunately never told me how to connect to the wifi. Thr room was very clean but quite outdated, which i understand because i have pets but i did expect it to be nicer for the price i paid. No breakfast included which was a bummer
The scrambled eggs, home fries, bacon & toast were so yummy. Hot & steaming too boot. Room was exceptionally clean & comfortable. Staff was very helpful with a lil project I needed to finish & they found me a few items I forgot to bring. Lots of parking available in the fall
Thank you for a enjoyable stay! Our room was clean and lovely. The staff was very friendly

Really nice and clean place to stay, the view alwas great, and the location was perfect for going to local restaurants. Great place to stay
Best place to stay in Seward The guesthouse itself is beautifully maintained, with charming decor that perfectly captures the essence of Alaska. Our suite was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the amenities we could need. The beds were incredibly comfortable, sleep after a day of exploring the breathtaking scenery of Seward. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as local artwork...
Wonderful to fall asleep to the pitter-patter of rain. Nice big screen T.V. in the living room area. Kitchen was nicely arranged and cozy. Not a fan of the bedrooms, but size still offered plenty of sleeping space. The pull-down living room bed was exceptionally comfortable! There are a lot of steep stairs here, so I would not recommend this place for either small children or the elderly. Also, they...
The location of the guest house is perfect for walking to near by sights in Seward. The guest entrance is through the alley & with 2 other guests staying in the house, parking was tight. We rented the main floor so renters below us & above us, after the second night of no sleeping , I was able to sleep. Future renters please understand which I did not, in older houses, everything can be heard between...
The owner was very communicative in texts. When the power went out one day, he stopped by and dropped off a battery light for us to use in case the power did not come on. (it eventually did). It's located about a mile from the train depot, and about half a mile from "downtown". We enjoyed having a coffee pot and coffee, and a few random emergency snacks in the cupboards. One night...
