Hotels in Bakersfield

I checked in late at night and was given a room with a view of the first-floor parking lot. The parking lot was higher up, so it felt like a semi-basement. It didn't really matter since I was only stopping by for a short while, but it was a bit disappointing. The front desk staff was very friendly.

It's very convenient, just off the interchange. The outdoor area not only has a swimming pool but also a heated jacuzzi. I saw many people soaking their feet and chatting there in the evenings – quite nice! However, please note that the hotel only provides ice, not water.

**Excellent hotel!** Clean rooms, polite staff, delicious breakfasts. Convenient location—close to the metro and attractions. The Wi-Fi worked great. I especially loved the view from the window. I recommend it for both leisure and business trips. I'll definitely be back!

The room was big and comfortable. The breakfast was a restaurant type with ordered cooked food.

I’m always using this hotel this is so clean

Clean, cozy, great beds. Rooms facing the road are a bit noisy.

Their staff incredible kind and helpful, they are their to really make you feel comfortable and thats a plus

Room was old. No USB ports. Outlets were so old I couldn't plug in a block to charge my phone. Shower was good especially because I do not like really hot showers. Hot water never wasn't overly hot. No hand wash clothes. But if all you want is a bed and a pillow, it was great! Bed was not hard or too soft and pillows were all different thickness and texture.

The room was very clean, and comfortable. For a budget price this was an excellent stay. Close to restaurants and gas and the freeway

Hotel needs to be updated. My room was right next to their staff room. Slamming doors woke me up. Zero usb plugs for electronics. You have to supply your own.

The non smoking rooms smelled like smoke still. Glass was found on the floor of our room. The only thing we liked was the breakfast.

My only complaint was not having easy access to 110v plugs for my computer, cell phone charger, etc. in the main room.

I was a repeat customer here and for good reason! The location was convenient, the check-in was easy and the desk clerk pleasant. The room itself was immaculate, comfortable and quiet and sleep came quickly. Next morning, the breakfast room had a broad selection of items and was spotlessly clean. All in all, a five-star experience and highly recommended!

This Ramada Hotel is budget friendly and well located to many dining areas. Staff was courteous. Would definitely book a room here again.

The hotel is quite old, but it's well-maintained.

The room was large and the facilities were decent, though a bit old. Cleanliness was average, but the price was relatively low, making it a good option for a break between San Francisco and Las Vegas.

The room is not well soundproofed. Parking is convenient. Breakfast is OK.

Gina is the best! Great attitude and helped very much with our needs. The decorations in the lobby are so planned out and awesome as well. Definitely would stay here again.

Not a 5 star hotel but is a pretty decent hotel for a cheap price

Not the cleanest or safest place to stay, honestly felt like I could be in danger

Location was not to bad. Close to fast food gas station freeway. Nice respectful staff hot calf water clean. Ac heater. No remote, future was damaged but very quite location.

Very dated but relatively clean. Be sure to request a room at the front. The back is extremely noisy (immediate proximity to the highway). Earplugs are required if you want to sleep. It's not always very busy, but the back of the building is well lit, which is somewhat reassuring. If you have a choice, consider the Vagabond Inn South; it's much nicer.

Not the best of hotels, but it’s a very good price and the staff is nice! As far as breakfast there is cold cereal and fresh waffles! It has coffee and orange juice! Don’t expect niceties, but if you’re looking for a place to stay on the way through, it’s a good choice! Most reviews i see here are over critical in my opinion

I really enjoyed my stay here. It looks like they did some remodeling and touch ups. Our room even had a microwave and mini fridge.

Front desk was great. HVAC didn’t work but they switched us to another room.

Lacked sense hospitality but clean and comfortable enough

Room was in good condition, the bed was comfortable but the flies from the surrounding stockyards got into the room.

Easy access from freeways. Quiet, comfortable room and nice continental breakfast in the morning.

We were on our way to Southern California and stopping here for a nights rest. The rooms were very clean. The staff was very friendly. It was a quiet and safe location just off the highway. Would definitely recommend for an overnight stay or even longer. They do include a breakfast. It’s a win-win for the traveler.

The property is clean and well-kept. Because it is just off the freeway and across the street from a truck stop, I cannot say it is quiet. It is, however, very convenient for people traveling along the I-5 and there are plenty of food options within walking distance.

Days Inn is now closed on Real Rd. The property is now for sale! 2/17/2020. Nice sized and rooms in a quieter environment. The pricing is a medium to other motels in the area. I recommend you join the Wyndham rewards program which automatically gives you 10% off the regular standard rates and if you stay here often you can get points for free rooms, late/early check-ins, etc. The staff here behind...

We needed a room for 3 to stay in for a few nights and we found this for a pretty cheap price online. The associates at the front desk are really nice and very helpful. We had an issue with our air conditioner not working well and the lights in our bathroom started to dim and flicker so the night associate changed our room to one that was way cooler. The cold water knob in the shower was messed up...

Great last minute deal. 45 minute walk from the Rabobank Arena. Includes a minimal continental breakfast. Close to almost every fast food chain imaginable and Hwy 99. High points include a well maintained pool and a 'hot' tub that wasn't hot but rather a refreshing relief from sun bathing. Also, standard checkout is at 12pm. Very will to extend it to 1pm but not past that without a fee.

only ok because there was no fridge and no microwave. had to leave my daughter's milk in ice hoping that was good enough. the room was clean and the employees were very polite and understanding. they were not rude or rushing me out as i checked out late

Pool is so refreshing! Rooms not bad either

The swimming pool is closed! I choose this hotel for the pool!!! I drived the all day in thinking at the moment i could jump in this swimming pool!!! I'm so sad and desapointed!

Parking was easy, but there were multiple vehicles parked in the lot throughout the day with people running in and out of the hotel. Bikes, dogs, and people with few teeth wandered in and out, going to the upstairs areas. Most of the rooms are blocked off with renovation stickers, but our room was very worn down, dirty floors, broken toilet seat, mirror looked like it had been in a fire. However, once...

I had to ring the bell several times before she eventually came up to check me in. Everything was fine after that—just not very responsive initially.

Every thing was great. Onlu complaint was the bar of soap was really tiny and it would have been nice to have a packet of coffee for the coffee maker.

The room Floor was not well cleaned

Booked this room online. A handful of transients out front. Ran over a glass bottle parking in the lot. Checking in was decent. The lady at the counter was very sweet and helpful. The hotel smelled like **** and cigarette smoke. The room was clean. The bed was absolutely awful. Felt like sleeping on a bed spring. Was up bright and early to continue my travels. You get what you pay for i guess.

The front desk was totally awesome but if the rooms were cleaner I would give them a 5 stars. The bed spread was so dirty. Kind of expensive right now but what isn't. I liked the kitchen.

Super clean our room was very roomy & updated will deff come back again, Robyn in the front desk was super friendly & helpful (kitchen lady could be a lil more friendly & pretend to smile at least)

The staff was very friendly, the room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. However I did not have hot water from the sink the evening i checked in. The lobby decor was very pleasant. My overall stay was satisfactory

Good hotel. There was a mildew smell from the sink drain in the bathroom, which was not pleasant. Otherwise, great experience! We would have appreciated cooked oatmeal in the breakfast area.

Room was comfortable and clean, but I was a little concerned about location. Area was run down and industrial, I did notice some area revival happening so possible that this will change. Breakfast was the usual motel buffet nothing great. They did have a parking security fence and camera so was safe.

Breakfast is good. Parking is very convenient for trucks and trailers. Rooms are nice. My complain this time were the pillows, they were not the best I had a rough night. Also the staff working had no good customer service. They need to learn to say good morning, good night, etc. to make people feel safe and at home away from home.

Nice basic hotel. Very clean and lots of staff around to help out. Room was comfortable and very good size. AC worked great and a microwave and refrigerator came with the room. No coffee maker, but coffee is available downstairs all day. Overall, a pleasant stay!

Very nice hotel, staff are friendly

Comfy bed , great breakfast , good coffee but … the bed sheets were meh- no sheets just a comforter and bed spread . Overall it was. Great day minus the bed covers

The room i stayed in was completely spotless. . My next trip down im definitely staying there again . The outside area was very nice. Everything was clean and the customer service was excellent. If I could, I’ll give it a 100 out of 100. I was very satisfied and happy with my stay and everything about the hotel.

Room is clean and staff is courteous. Breakfast omlet with cheese is best.

Room was spacious and clean, staff was great, and breakfast was excellent.

Loved the outside patio area with available grills. Enjoyed the pool, basketball hoop and the grassy area. Very family friendly.

That’s very nice place to stay

Would be great if they had a breakfast . And anything else is great

Could be better if they offered breakfast, but I understand why they don't. The morning staff is awesome as usual

Very nice and clean large room. Lots of counter space and plenty of room to put luggage etc. The decor is much nicer than in other Motel 6's we have stayed in. There are a few restaurants within walking distance of the motel.

Not the best place 😕, but if you're on a budget. This place ain't bad. Questionable but not bad. Like any other place you'll find weird ppl. The cute goth receptionist makes up for it though. She was nice. Rooms are what you expect for what you pay. A plus? There's a Starbucks walking distance, I guess.

Nice and clean room. Very convenient for my travels - I usually stay at this location on return trips from Arizona to Diamond Springs, CA.

Staff members were nice and the check in process was quick but our room overall was not great. We were in a nonsmoking room but the room still wreaked of smoke. At first the room appeared clean but after walking around with just socks on, I came to realize the floor was very dirty and we found a few drops of blood on the nightstand and floor beside it. The bathroom was relatively clean but the toilet...

Outside the clean rooms follow schedule house cleaning if you have a scheduled time and day in the week to service a room follow it dont oick and choose and even skip services because your servicing paying customers its unprofessional

Once in the room was a step above any other Motel 6 I’ve stayed in…. Very comfortable. Obvious some recent bathroom renovations and… they were beautiful and nice quality. I took note, someone has good flavor. And, lady at the desk was great! Enjoyed her much. Genuine kindness and doing a good intuitive efficient job

The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable the staff was nice unfortunately the tv kept losing signal and couldnt be fixed.

Floors were incredibly filthy literally when walking around barefoot in the room our feet went black with dirt /or grime.

This property is clearly for the budget minded. If you're looking for a lot of amenities, look elsewhere. That being said, my room, while stark, was quiet and air conditioned. The bathroom sink, shower, and commode were clean and in solid working order. The bed was comfortable and the TV had a nice variety of channels. The staff was friendly and helpful. In my book, a solid value!

Overall, the hotel's facilities are fairly basic, but the transportation is convenient. It offers free breakfast, but we didn't eat there and instead went to a well-known local breakfast shop, which was still a good experience.

This motel suites my needs for a quick place to stay. It was right near the interstate, so the location wasn’t ideal. I also was not given any large towels.

I used here 2 times , because price is not bad

The room was clean, the staff - friendly. Nice location.

Was clean nice staff. Hot water. Clean sheets and towels. close to gestation food locations.

This the second time that I booked this hotel in my way back to home. Unfortunately this time the room didn’t have fridge although it was mentioned in the booking and one of the comforters had stain on it. The staff was great and friendly as before

It was very clean but it was per friendly which made my stay a little bit uncomfortable x

The room was decent but the walls and ceilings are not sound proofed. Televisions and footsteps are easily heard in our room.

Building has security and doors are kept locked. Rooms were not bad. Extended stay so we did not have housekeeping. Hotels could have better maintence inside. Such as a crack in the wall or a hole in the wall that wasnt finished being repair/painted. Felt more like staying in a lived in home that didnt get that move out deep clean and repaint but was still clean. The halls had a weird smell when we...

The room was great but the hallways smelled like dogs horrible odor and pee on the elevator but overall good stay nice staff clean room.

Check in was smooth. Thank you to your staff. But the amenities in the room sucks. NO coffee/tea and coffee maker, water hot pot, hand towels, hair conditioner, hand soap, hair dryer, Kleenex. But the room was clean. Floors was cleaner than any other wood vinyl flooring in any hotels I’ve been to.

The staff was nice enough. The room was very affordable and clean at first glance but I caught sight of multiple bugs and it made me uncomfortable. The WiFi was completely useless and would not work with any of my devices. My stay was mostly suitable.

Everything was great, no complaints whatsoever and will be going back again.

Oh my one of the nicest, clean and very kind professional staff i encountered in Bakersfield Ca!

Room had stained drapes and walls. Sink drained slow. Side table lamp didn't turn on.

The room was very clean, had a fresh smell and the site was very quiet. The staff was very attentive.

Very affordable for a quick overnight stay, and it was clean, beds were comfortable, and the water pressure was good and hot. Super convenient. Easy parking. Ground floor accommodations. What more can you want?

Room was clean but bathroom sink did not have hot water…shower was perfect.

Jordan was the best ever...breakfast was great. Hot tub was amazing 👏..great stay staff was friendly

Breakfast was great, my wife said that it was a little noisy, I just took out my hearing aids, didn’t hear a thing. Staff was very friendly.

Pros: Staff friendly, caring, & professional Hotel & room were clean Cons: Could hear noises from other rooms. Refrig made noises all day & night Breakfast eggs - bad; sausages - salty

This was so much better than the La Quinta in Redding (which had mold in the bathroom!). This place is clean, comfortable and the staff is very friendly and informative. Would highly recommend!

Room clean and quiet. Good breakfast, nice dog area. Staff friendly

Nice time hear could be loud in room at times

Stayed a couple of days for cheer competition. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly. The only drawback is it’s in a sketchy area, but there’s a wonderful Chinese restaurant close by.

It's good for what we needed. Restroom could be renovated a bit. Beds were comfortable and room was clean.

The bed was super comfy. Room clean. Personel very kind. The upstairs visitors movements were very loud as well as the folks outside our room. Just annoying more than anything.

That room was ok, but I didn’t feel to comfortable because when I layered in bed , I get itching it was one time , I around my sheets and I didn’t saw anything

Receptionists were professional and helpful when asking about near by amenities. As soon as we walked in the room it smelled and looked very clean. There was more than enough towels for 4 people in our 2 queen bed room. The pool area was also clean although the filter in the pool would have been very useful as there was some dead insects that the kids did not want to share space with. Definitely would...

Arrived at the property around 11am door was locked, front desk girl went to unlock it but she didn't open to door for us. And she didn't smile. Looked annoyed by our presence. The room given had a smell, possibly smoking or pet odor. On the morning we were supposed to check out, housekeeping opened the door to wake us up. Don't they have a list or a way to know whether the rooms are occupied or if...

I love how u need a key to get in and out of the building to get access to the rooms. Management makez sure that it is quiet. The king sized beds are very comfortable. Nice place to stay

Nothing bad to say, low price low quality.

Love this hotel Love this hotel Beds are so comfy Room decor is on point

Superb It was amazing. The host was superb. It was great.

Cigarette smell. There’s also communication problem.

The staff is very nice and the rooms are clean very good motel
