Great hotel, perfect location close to the airport as well as UC Irvine and the rest of the OC. Super clean and spacious room with good view and free parking. Didn't really hear the airplanes even though the proximity to the airport

I love this city so much so I booked this hotel. But i did't know why the housekeeping just used the key and opened the door directly after knocking twice. I haven't walked to the door yet and he just opened the door and came in. I was pissed. Can you please just call first or maybe wait for a second till i open the door for you?!

The entire staff was incredible, especially the bell captain and housekeeping. The only issue that did not sit well with me was that valet parking was the ONLY option. I knew that they offered valet parking, however, it was really vague regarding self-park. I had to do a lot of digging, to include calling the hotel to find that self-parking was not an option.

The view is very nice. No slippers in the room, the mat in the gym is quite dirty. Kids are running around in the gym. The Lululemon mirror instructor machine is cool.

The hotel has a great location, with Fashion Island just outside the door. The hotel has a novel design concept.

This hotel is conveniently located in a shopping mall, perfect for shopping at Neiman Marcus. The service was very good and the view was beautiful. Saw the beautiful sunset and sunrise. If you are afraid of noise, tell the front desk to stay in the Star Tower.

Gotta say the service here was next level. They are soooo nice. The parking, the lobby, the pool, the bar, the room staff… felt like royalty. A little pricey but will definitely return given the results.

Outdated room. Very clean. Bed is not comfortable, too hard. Nothing like a luxury hotel like years ago.

The rooms are very outdated and everything seems dirty. The shower was dark and small. The airplanes are so loud and go all day. The had a pool cleaner out af 6:30 am blowing leaves and dirt around the pool and it sounded like they were right in front of our door. Probably because these are motel style doors that you enter from outside and have gaps under them. The pillows, if you can even call them...

Service is alright but bed is comfy and spacious… the staff was kind enough to give me the room closest to the main lobby since I was struggling to drag my baggage!

The service at this resort was impeccable, without exception. I was blown away by the staff, from concierge to grounds crew. The staff and their leadership deserve kudos if not a raise from the higher ups. Will be back for sure. Oh and the food was excellent.

The room is clean and the environment is beautiful

The room is big and the ceiling is high, but the facilities are a bit old. Breakfast is not a buffet. The service is the same as the buffet. It takes 10 minutes to pour warm water. The hotel has a good view.

The service is good, but the weather may be bad, the scenery is not amazing. The hotel does not have a private beach, you can only take a shuttle to the public beach. The food in several restaurants is OK, and the room facilities are a bit old.

I booked the wrong seat, but they helped me cancel it. This is really great in the US.

Hotel was lovely, even though exterior seemed a bit dated. Room had been renovated and was great. Service was excellent. Breakfast in dining room was terrific--food and service both.

The room is spacious and bright, there is lemonade and orange juice in the lobby, the service is thoughtful, and all other aspects are very good. I will stay here again next time I come to this city.

American hotels are really rubbish. This one is rubbish. There are no facilities. Parking for hotel residents is $43, WiFi is $16, and there is no hot water. It's really not good.

Great location and service. the family room was a bit small and I didn’t like that it was all carpeted. The parking is expensive at $40 a night. There is also a lovely trail walk nearby.

There is a bay park downstairs, which is suitable for sports and the balcony is very comfortable.

The room is relatively large, and the entire bathroom is comfortable and bright. The disadvantage is that the suite has more doors, so it takes some getting used to. If you want to organize activities near Irvine, this is a good hotel option. If you are traveling to Los Angeles, it is not recommended to stay here. It is too far from downtown and Beverly, and also far from Los Angeles Airport. A taxi...

This hotel is now closed and has been sold to Pendry Hotels and Resorts group. (The sister company of Montage Resorts.) The hotel will be fully remodeled and expected to reopen in a year under the new name Pendry.

A fantastic hotel. All the staff were perfect. All our needs were met. We opted out of the room service, received $15 credit per day and drank coffee in the room till we were sweating beans. They provided all the towels . water and other complimentary amenities at non cost per day.

We enjoyed the hotels location. It was great to be walking distance to Fashion Island. Our room had a nice view of the ocean and the private golf course. Although you can't walk to the beach it's very easy to drive there and enjoy the surf and the sand. The pool was crowded but felt homey with a family friendly environment. The kids enjoyed the ping ping table right off of the pool.

The experience: Good location and walking distance to food and shopping. Hotel staff are friendly and very helpful, lobby bar has parties at night with a DJ and poolside bar fun to hang out in the evenings

From being greeted by valet, the polite check in staff, our beautiful - shiny clean room, staffs politeness...this hotel experience was better than our last experience at The Grand California at Disneyland. I give this hotel, staff nd ambience a perfect 10. They did a turn down service when we went to dinner. Lovely

Helpful staff. My room didn’t have a fridge but the staff accommodated my needs by allowing me to put my perishables in their kitchen refrigerator. After getting to my room, I discovered that my room had broken blinds so I went downstairs to let the staff know and they easily upgraded my room to one that had functional blinds. The location is perfect . We took the boat to Catalina for a weekend stay . We stayed here one night so we can catch the boat in the morning. Hotel is older and needs to be renovated. The restaurants around are not good and the shopping feels very tourist oriented. It’s a good place to stay one night but I would not recommend it for a longer stay

We had such a lovely stay here. Yes, it’s an older property and there was some paint peeling, etc. But not only is the view incredible, but the staff is amazing!
