We came to meet our physician & surgeon who was also at the Renaissance. Service in all areas EXCEPT check in/out was exceptional. When the staff for check in would answer phones before taking care of lines of customers, there is something wrong. There was one service person who was very very good. Her name was Mechenzie.  She was fast and accurate.  A necessity with impatient customers and long lines...

Great hotel, perfect location close to the airport as well as UC Irvine and the rest of the OC. Super clean and spacious room with good view and free parking. Didn't really hear the airplanes even though the proximity to the airport

The Valet team is excellent, setting the tone for the wonderful hospitality the Renaissance team delivered during our stay. Our room was spacious and housekeeping was the best. They kept our room stocked with a lot of towels and did an awesome job cleaning our room daily. Had a nice large balcony as well! The valet attendants were especially friendly, fun, and greeted us professionally yet with a personal engaging welcome upon departing and arriving many times a day. Outdated room. Very clean. Bed is not comfortable, too hard. Nothing like a luxury hotel like years ago.

The rooms are very outdated and everything seems dirty. The shower was dark and small. The airplanes are so loud and go all day. The had a pool cleaner out af 6:30 am blowing leaves and dirt around the pool and it sounded like they were right in front of our door. Probably because these are motel style doors that you enter from outside and have gaps under them. The pillows, if you can even call them...

Clean rooms, easy access to the room and parking. Beautiful location.

The entire staff was incredible, especially the bell captain and housekeeping. The only issue that did not sit well with me was that valet parking was the ONLY option. I knew that they offered valet parking, however, it was really vague regarding self-park. I had to do a lot of digging, to include calling the hotel to find that self-parking was not an option.

The view is very nice. No slippers in the room, the mat in the gym is quite dirty. Kids are running around in the gym. The Lululemon mirror instructor machine is cool.

The hotel has a great location, with Fashion Island just outside the door. The hotel has a novel design concept.

This hotel is conveniently located in a shopping mall, perfect for shopping at Neiman Marcus. The service was very good and the view was beautiful. Saw the beautiful sunset and sunrise. If you are afraid of noise, tell the front desk to stay in the Star Tower.

Gotta say the service here was next level. They are soooo nice. The parking, the lobby, the pool, the bar, the room staff… felt like royalty. A little pricey but will definitely return given the results.

First time staying in this hotel, room is clean and comfortable. Bar downstairs is amazing, always crowded packed with people.

The environment is very good, but only Valet parking is available, and the parking fee is $60 per night, and you have to tip extra

The hotel is adjacent to Fashion Island, which is very convenient for shopping, dining and entertainment. The restaurant is great. The room is relatively large, and the view from the sky room is very open. Except for the high price, everything else is good.

I paid a $200 deposit but it still hasn't been unblocked

I booked the wrong seat, but they helped me cancel it. This is really great in the US.

Hotel was lovely, even though exterior seemed a bit dated. Room had been renovated and was great. Service was excellent. Breakfast in dining room was terrific--food and service both.

The room is nice, but there are no shops around, which is not very convenient

The room is spacious and bright, there is lemonade and orange juice in the lobby, the service is thoughtful, and all other aspects are very good. I will stay here again next time I come to this city.

American hotels are really rubbish. This one is rubbish. There are no facilities. Parking for hotel residents is $43, WiFi is $16, and there is no hot water. It's really not good.

Great location and service. the family room was a bit small and I didn’t like that it was all carpeted. The parking is expensive at $40 a night. There is also a lovely trail walk nearby.

There is a bay park downstairs, which is suitable for sports and the balcony is very comfortable.

The room is relatively large, and the entire bathroom is comfortable and bright. The disadvantage is that the suite has more doors, so it takes some getting used to. If you want to organize activities near Irvine, this is a good hotel option. If you are traveling to Los Angeles, it is not recommended to stay here. It is too far from downtown and Beverly, and also far from Los Angeles Airport. A taxi...

The room is clean and tidy, and the front desk service is polite and enthusiastic. It is suitable for business trips or family vacations⛱️. The bedding is comfortable.

Greeted with a glass of champagne upon entering, and nothing short from five star service the rest of our stay! The staff really make this place so special. The drinks and food are all premium too whether you’re poolside, ordering room service, or in the restaurant.

The grounds of the hotel are beautiful with the trees surrounding the roads. Reception service was great. We made a same day reservation and they were able to accommodate to our situation. Unfortunately, we got a room (room 201) that had a sewage lingering smell. I was highly disappointed after reading the rave reviews. We were debating between the Waldorf which we have been before and it was spectacular...

The most beautiful place I have ever been. The staff at the Villas is unmatched in the world of hospitality. Hunter, Cole, the incredible front desk and concierge, have always made me, my family, and visiting friends feel incredible joy and happiness when we are on the property. I've had the privilege of being a guest for 16 years now, and that won't change moving forward.

Beautiful Resort that has not forgotten what true service is! Everyone we've encountered has been over the top accommodating. Property is stunning, clean and the most amazing views! Not a golfer so can't speak to that but we have thoroughly enjoyed our getaway this week!

It was a really beautiful place. Stayed at the North Villa Mezzanine floor with a good view. The resort is very expensive and they make no bones about it. The place was about 1600 dollars a night. The issue is the poor service, pretty much everywhere except the check in which was a breeze. We checked in early and we appreciated the effort by the staff. The staff in the restaurants and the stores...

Room was impeccable. Service A+. And the spa was amazing. Food and ambience at A+O is great. Brunch is delectable. Would definitely stay here again!

From being greeted by valet, the polite check in staff, our beautiful - shiny clean room, staffs politeness...this hotel experience was better than our last experience at The Grand California at Disneyland. We love staying at the Balboa Inn. You are right on the beach and you can also walk to the Catalina Island Ferry.

Clean newly remodeled room. At check-in the front desk was kind to give us rooms close to each other. The stay comfortable and super easy to walk to everything.

The bed was super comfortable and the overall ambiance of the room was quite fitting for the area. For being a historic hotel, the cost is extremely reasonable especially considering the location and convenient surroundings. I will definitely be returning.

The room was just fine, Missing a lampshade. Hot tub never worked and the pool was really cold. Didn’t get to use those at all in our 3 nights. But Laura was very nice to let us park our rental in the garage. After we had gotten citations for 2 nights from the city, a misprint. Hoping to appeal and I get out of it.
