We had planned on spending one night here but due to some challenges we had with a car we had just purchased in LA and were planning to drive back to NorCal, we ended up spending two additional nights. The staff was warm and welcoming (special shout out to Julie). They went above and beyond to help ease the stress of our recent purchase woes. (Drink chips helped for sure!) Any request I had they made happen with a smile and without hesitation. The hotel is small but set up well with the front desk doubling as a bar. There is ample space to work, games to play and a kitchen set up for communal use off the lobby. They also have a wheel you spin when you check in where you can win points, drinks, free parking, credit for snacks and more. They also give you a couple of tokens for drinks too. Very cute touch! We stayed on the ground floor, poolside. Though we didn't actually use the pool or outside games set up it was a fun, colorful set up. I'd recommend staying where we did as it was actually pretty quiet save the few times the train went by. You cannot beat the location. It's in the heart of the Funk Zone and all its wineries and restaurants, minutes from the beach, and an easy, short walk to downtown and all the happenings on State Street. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat

I've been meaning to write a positive review for this location since we stayed there in early July 2025. The front staff was great and engaged, the location was incredibly well located if you want to mostly walk around downtown during your trip, and while the rooms are small, everything is well designed - plus there's a pool! Additionally, we had a minor sound issue and the staff went above and beyond to address the issue. I was really pleased with our stay and would definitely return.

For us this hotel was all about the location, perfect for spending time in the Funk Zone. We enjoyed the heated pool, and our (albeit small) patio for a glass of wine at sunset. The rooms are small but decorated cute, the staff is friendly and attentive.

I stayed here for a wedding and couldn’t have been happier. The location is perfect. It is walking distance to downtown, great restaurants and the beach. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly throughout the stay. The pool area was a great spot to relax and unwind. The vibe is fun, the rooms are clean and the overall experience was exactly what we hoped for. Highly recommend.

My favorite Moxy hotel by far. The location was close to everything we needed; beach, pier, restaurants. The poolside room was a two second walk to the pool and a minute walk to state street. This will definitely be my go to property in Santa Barbara.

I stayed at the Moxy Santa Barbara for the first time and absolutely loved it! You can't beat the Moxy's location. It's close to endless shops, restaurants, and the beach. The staff is incredibly friendly and the hotel is clean and decorated really well. This is my new go-to hotel for all my Santa Barbara trips!

Very friendly waitress, Melissa, made the visit completely enjoyable. In fact, I returned a few days later for another delicious meal, served by another friendly waitress, whose name I don't remember. If you go, and Melissa is on duty, ask to be seated in her section.

Great atmosphere and terrific food. If you aren't a local, be aware that Enterprise sits alongside an underpass and can be tricky to find if you're driving. If you are somewhat navigationally-challenged like me, I suggest parking in one of the nearby public lots and walking.

Great happy hour deals on food and drinks. Seafood is always delicious. Some really great appetizers. Ended up going here 3 times during my stay in Santa Barbara, and would definitely go back. It can get quite busy at the dinner rush, but is definitely worth the wait. One of the best restaurants in Santa Barbara. I would highly recommend it.

My husband and I were visiting from out of town and our hotel had recommended Enterprise for dinner. The food was pretty good but we were very disappointed with our service. When we arrived we were sat at a high top table. Our waitress greeted us and took our drink order. She brought our drinks timely and then we didn't see her for quite some time... I was finally able to flag her down after about 20 minutes and I asked if she was our waitress (which she originally was) and she said no. I asked if she could send our waitress so we could order and she said, "I'd just prefer to put in the order in for you." She put in our appetizer order and another waitress brought it out for us. I asked if the new gal if she was our waitress now and she said no, but our waitress got busy with a 18 top table. Our original waitress never returned and every time we wanted to order another glass of wine or needed something - we had to just flag someone down. Needless to say, we won't be returning to Enterprise.

I guess I went in here with my expectations way to high. It was just mediocre for me. It was nothing to write home about. No special flavor like I was told I'd experience. The ambiance is fabulous. For the price, I would expect a lot more flavor for sure.

There is some great food at The Lark! I am usually not a fan of kale but decided to give their kale salad here and I was not disappointed. Not exactly sure what it had but I remember thin apple slices, carrot slices, walnuts in the dressing and of course kale, it was truly delicious. Next we tried their ribs which were equally as good. The menu here is a tad bit different, their portions are sharing size so what you order can be split by two. The menu is separated into sections, so it would be starters, the main dish, and dessert I believe. Our waitress did a good job at explaining it to us. I had a great time!

Incredible food, cocktails and service. Cody was our waiter for the evening and he was extremely knowledgeable and gave great recommendations on the food and drinks, while being attentive and efficient. The venue itself has a good vibe. Recommend booking in advance if you don’t want to wait around. I will be telling everyone about our amazing experience!

One of the few modern gastronomic gems of Santa Barbara. Beautiful interior design with a casual seating masterpiece table as a centre for the floor. The food is designed to be shared (as all good food should be in my opinion) and conservative in portion so you can try a few, unlike most SB portions I've seen so far. Wonderfully rich flavours and quality produce, you'll need to book or wait for a table on most nights. Confidently welcoming spice and drier flavors, the cocktails are a must try.

Wow! I loved this experience. Their chefs really know how to combine flavors into the perfect bite! Some of the best food I had in Santa Barbara for sure! My favorite part was dessert! If you get there while the apple fritter is still on the menu, trust me, you will not regret it! Lovely atmosphere and great service as well

Good selection of self-pour coffees, and the one I had was nice. Nice pastries and muffins too! Only downside is that it's busy, practically every table and seat was taken up by people working on laptops (on a Saturday mid morning). We snagged a seat outside in the sunshine though.

Great tasting coffee but could have had a little better presentation. Would have liked it to be served in a mug since we were dining in and not taking to go. Good place for a quick coffee and change of pace from Starbucks.

Barista is nice and somewhat trendy but didn't like their coffee. Giving it 3 ? since I really haven't tried all coffee here, but if you are trying some single origin pour over you may be out of luck getting help on tasting notes. There's good description written down on a poster for house blends so may be it's safe to stick with that.

Great coffee and atmosphere at this place. I've been going here for a while and staff is always nice. It's a great place to study unless you need it to be quiet. There are a some noise and loud music. Smells really good when they are roasting coffee beans! Open late which is a bonus.
