South Beach Inn - Cocoa Beach

This place is directly on the beach. Is has a deck with cushioned chairs and tables, and a couple cushioned beach chairs under a themed gazebo that overlook thee beach. Plus, an area to grill with a decent sized covered area. Perfect, fun place for a reasonably priced beach getaway. The manager, Sammy is super nice and accomodating. He is frequently out and about and wants his guests to have a good time. However, there is not a lot within walking distance except the restaurant Squid Lips, but everything is literally two miles down the road. Just booked another visit at this hotel for labor day weekend.

Staff was amazing. My daughter was getting married on the beach and broke her ankle the day we arrived. The staff moved her to the ground floor even though the were packed. They allowed us to moved the wedding to the grounds. They went above and beyond to help with her as well as the rest of the family. Quiet and child friendly. Will defiantly return. Very reasonably priced.

The best place to stay, the General Mgr. Sammy is the GM, willing to make your stay comfortable. The staff works hard to make sure your stay is a comfortable , happy & a fun stay at the Inn. Apartment style rooms at a Motel with most reasonable prices. I give Sammy and his staff a 5 Star rating!

Had an absolutely great time stayed 4 nights. The staff is wonderful. Rooms are clean and motel is ocean front and pet friendly what more could you ask for? Beautiful sunrises!!

We are still in the middle of our stay, but I had to go ahead and write a review. I've never stayed at a hotel that wasn't "fancy" or didn't have a balcony just for your room (as this is an open balcony connecting all the rooms) facing directly at the ocean. However, this place has changed my views on hotels and where to stay on vacation. Sammy made it a point to make your vacation fun, not expensive and stressful. My boyfriends debit card wasn't running through the night we got here since he forgot to contact the bank back home, and Sammy allowed us to do it all in the morning. He is always coming up with ideas for us to go do that day. Despite the fact that there is no room service or walking distance to things on the beach it's one of the best vacations I've had. We are able to sit at the gazebo or in the lawn and hangout if we don't want to sit on the beach that day, and we are able to have our new dog with us at all times. Sammy and Cat also offer to do room service if you'd like and they are always giving you extra towels, soaps, coffee etc. so you don't have to keep going to ask for them! They are the most accommodating people I've ever met and very nice and funny. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. My vacation is 100% stress free and wonderful.

Absolutely love this place! Full kitchen in rooms, lovely outside setting with direct access to the beach and perfect for any type of traveller (I was solo travelling). Also lovely staff and info about check in after closing time will be sent to you via contact details if after 8pm. Would definitely recommend if small beach resorts are your thing!

Edit: Resort also keeps you informed about launch times of rockets for the cape if you're there for the launches

My mom and I found this little gem on our trip to Cocoa Beach. Cocoa Beach is my moms favorite place to be and she has major health concerns so we started a her bucket list and this was the first on the list. We love going “local” The property was much older than me however I love imagining the history of old places when they were in their prime. It was the perfect place for my mom and I to stay. Close to the beach so she didn’t have to walk far, that was one of the biggest pluses, love how the grounds were kept. It has e off a very tropical coziness, the staff were very helpful. We didn’t have our fur babies, however they are fur baby friendly! Again, sure it’s an older place and could use some repairs but I appreciate the original beauty.

Great little pet friendly, beach side surfers' motel. Nothing fancy, but there's a path down to the beach, a closet full of beach gear you can use, an outdoor shower, barbecues, hammocks, & shaded picnic tables. Rooms have kitchenettes and a divider between bed and futon/tv/kitchen area.

Location is good, you are right on the beach.

Sheets and blankets smell amazing.
Bed and pillows were comfortable.
Great view.

Cute nostalgic hotel on the beach.

Hotel is a little run down.
Paint is pealing everywhere, rust is visible, sinks don't drain well, toilets need to flush 4x even w handle down.

A lot of silk flowers in the room.
On the table was nice.
Over the cabinets was a little much.

Crafty seashell mirror in bedroom.
X-lg walk in closet in bedroom.

No TV in bedroom.
Tv in living area.

Weird the office doesn't open until 10am when it's check out time.
We left early 8am, left keys in room because homeless guy was lying at office door waiting for people to drop their key in the mailbox.

It was weird.
But affordable and vintage.

Other guests would sit out on chairs outside their rooms, they all seemed really nice.
It was a nice covered place to sit outside while it rained.
Loved the pretty orange glow of the lights.
