Hotels in Lakeland

I was kind of forced to get a room here last minute being 3 hours away because my flight left early next morning. I have mobility issues so I had to get the handicap room. I liked it... But there were some mechanical issues in the beds looked a little disheveled... For the price I was paying for the room I expected the beds perfectly made... They weren't. The shower wand hose was not tight and sprayed...

Such a great stay! From the second I walked in, I felt welcomed and taken care of. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and very well kept. Iman and Lexi at the front desk were amazing, so friendly, helpful, and professional. They made everything easy and made me feel right at home. Definitely coming back!

Our room at Lakelands Hilton Garden Inn was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Their pet policy is why we won’t stay there again. Dogs barking and running up the hall is not the hotel experience we choose.

A sufficient hotel. Stayed here as it was close to my office and had a restaurant on site. The staff were pleasant and the property is ok. They are probably in need of some upgrades. The bathroom had a little mold and some of the light fixtures were not secured very well to the wall in the room. Not much around the hotel, but close drive to everything. Rideshare is not the strongest that far out from Tampa. Hotel itself though? 10/10. First steps in are very welcoming and the last steps out are as well. Nice rooms, very clean, and people just want to make sure your needs are taken care of. Stayed a few nights, good property, great staff. Checkin was smooth room was clean with all working as advertised. WiFi was solid. Pool is good. Took the grandkids for some splashes which is always a good time. Food there was pretty good, First night was average, second night was better. checkout was pretty good. Plenty of parking. Overall a good stay, I’ll return when back in that area.

The staff was wonderful,but as we going to bed we seen roaches going across the headboard. I think there should be more pest control going in and spraying.

They truly made my thanksgiving so relaxing and comfortable. I am really grateful and will be returning within the week. It is clean. And nice and extremely comfortable and livable

the king suite was perfect, they let you stay till 3:55pm for an extra 50 dollars past check out at 11am. I absolutely will be booking again and can’t wait to spend another weekend with my love here ❤️🔥

I've stayed here before but this room was very dirty. On check in the room I booked was not available, so they "upgraded" me from a queen to a king. The couch was very dirty and when by chance I pulled out the fold up bed...oh my days. It looked like a crime scene in a dive bar. Stains, peanut shells,...so gross. As it was late and a shirt stay I didn't say anything but will probably not stay here...

 The room was clean good room neighbors were noisy and that really would did it. What did it was a check out time when I booked it it says checkout time before 12 but in reality, the checkout is before 11. And the housekeeper  I’ll try to come in our room around 10:20 AM  there was no controls for the TV that we had in our room and then when we got the newer controls, there was no cable that experience

Keep your receipts and double check your charges. The property is being renovated so it can be loud at times but it was confortable. The pricing seemed a little sketchy, almost like a bait and switch, but the general manager was very nice and professional. Not too bad for 1 night details- room had multiple tiny flies, resembling fruit flies bad frayed spot on carpet- whole carpet needed replacing toilet was loose- had no calking. also tank loose bath fan grille was filthy- 5 minutes to clean with a broom good: plenty of hot water night clerk "Stephany" was very helpful for late check-in

The rooms were fairly clean but could use improvement. A fire alarm was pulled earlier in the day so a little debauchery was going on, plus the guys in the room next to us were being loud and disrespectful at 3 AM. The walls are paper thin. Other than that, it was a fine stay. The area isn't too bad. There's a good bowling alley and tiki bar across the street.

I stayed one night on the second story in a king sized bed. When I first arrived I began to get slightly nervous as some questionable people where standing in front of the lobby at 9pm. The lobby itself was better than most hotels I've been to and the desk man was just wonderful. He had me in and out within 5 minutes and in a room I loved. The place was very very clean from the front door to the room. The staff was very courteous. I would surely return for a vacation and tell my family and friends about this place. The breakfast was good. There were a lot of choices . My husband and i were very impress.

This is an older property that is in need of updating. Which is likely why the price is lower than some others in the area. However, it is clean, pest free, and the staff are personable. Many hotels and motels in the area have serious roach problems, but not Best Motel. So a good choice if you're on a budget, and want a clean, friendly stay.

The lady at the front desk was friendly and informative. Our room was clean and had a working mini fridge and microwave. Sheets and beds appeared to be clean were bug free. Very affordable price! Also within walking distance of fast food places and shopping.

Rooms are improving; better than some of the more expensive Lakeland properties with higher rates!
