They even let us check out an hour late which allowed the kids extra time to swim in the pool and shower afterwards. We always try to help the house keeping staff wherever we staff by tiding up as much as possible, even when places have a hefty cleaning charge. It...

The property was clean and well kept. Very comfortable. A beautiful sunset view. Not a beach for swimming and not a great place to walk. Close to dining options, and we always felt safe and sevure.

As a resort hotel, the room facilities include a full set of tableware, pots and pans, a five-burner stove, a grinder, an American coffee maker, a toaster, a kettle, a microwave, a washing machine and a dryer, and even a dishwasher. This place is amazing and it’s close to town. Worth it and it’s so mellow and peaceful unlike other resorts. Also the room we stayed was perfect!

Absolutely wonderful, we had to leave another hotel because it was terrible and then we choose Outtrigger Kona Resort and it did not disappoint. A wonderful way to spend our remaining 3 days in Kona!

When checking out, check what they charge. They may charge you for a service (e.g., a movie) that you've never used. When you point this out, they will just let you go, saying that a manager is not available and that they will email the details later, which they will never do.

The ocean view was very smoothing and relaxing. The kids loved the giant pool and the water slide and we spent a lot of time there! The pool food was better than I expected. Paula the Innkeeper was the best! So warm and inviting, we truly felt that we were staying in a friend’s home. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous, and the little town up the hill was quaint and inviting. The best part however, was the spectacular view! Would highly recommend this Inn over staying in town.

When my wife and I came home from staying at the Holualoa Inn, our spirits felt lighter. The peacefulness of the Inn and grounds are unsurpassed in my experience. We stayed at this location for 2 weeks in Jan/Feb 2023. Stayed in a 2 bedroom with 4 adults and 2 kids. The location is fantastic and the views of the beach were great. The kids loved playing in the pool. The room was a bit worn - peeling paint, torn carpet, etc, but nothing that impacted day-to-day use.

Excellent location, close enough to shops yet not in the middle of all the noise. Easy to go north or south on adventures or beaches. Beautiful ocean views! Amazing Ocean front view, property has sufficient parking. Food and market just 2-3 mins drive away, and it’s on Ali’i drive which is lit all the times. Apartment had one window AC in the living room, air could reach the second small bedroom, that was the only downside. Balcony and master bedroom had really very amazing ocean view.
