Whalers Cove in Hotel in Koloa

My wife and I wanted a “staycation” away from home to rest, relax, explore, and appreciate. Marianne, the GM of the resort, and our gracious host reached out to us prior to the visit and during the stay. The front office associate checked us in, gave us directions to the room (133), pool, and other features of the resort. Every employee exuded Aloha. The room opens to a gorgeous view of the Pacific Ocean. The swaying palm trees, the gentle surf sounds, a calming sensation occurs. The pool is a major feature of the resort. There is a jacuzzi as an added feature. We decided that this was going to be our “happy place” during the stay. The pool water temperature was divine! A short walk, there is a shopping center with stores and restaurants, We visited Merriman’s for dinner. The entire stay was impressive. We had a chance to enjoy a beautiful room with island style features, and a spectacular pool. I would highly recommend Whaler’s Cove and room 133 for the perfect experience.

We had a great experience at Whaler's Cove! The space (#212) was perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 kids), and had everything we needed. We were comfortable and loved the view! The location was so great as well - close to good food, shopping, and easy for day trips around the island.

Such an incredible location and beautiful condo with space and all the amenities you would need. The room was very clean, parking super easy, the views incredible and we cannot wait to go back!

Alexis at the front desk is a customer service super star. She went above and beyond to help me book when I had some complicating factors. I can’t remember the last time a customer service employee did such a thorough, thoughtful, and professional job! She even anticipated several things I never thought of. I basically booked here vs online or other places because she was so helpful.

We were so happy with our choice for vacation this year. Whaler’s Cove exceeded all expectations. We had an amazing time. Kudos to you and all the staff. The grounds and condo were impeccable and we felt very taken care of in all elements of our stay. We have already booked #220 for March of 2027. Mahalo!

This was the most beautiful location we ever stayed at. The sea shore is very picturesque and the sunsets on the lanai were incredible. From the lanai we could see turtles, dolphins and whales. The pool and hot tub were awesome both in the day and evening. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms were clean and located at the end of a residential road the location was quiet except for the tranquil sound of the ocean against the rocks.

Had a two week stay in Unit 120 and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Whalers Cove. The unit is on one floor, very easy to wander around in, good view of the ocean and lots of trees, and the whole setting is marvelous. Easy to walk to shops, with lots of good restaurants within a ten minute drive. Whalers Cove is very quiet with no traffic noise or bother. Nice swimming pool that sits right on the ocean's edge and was as civilized as one could hope a pool in Hawaii could be. We definitely will be back here some day, and will ask for Unit 120 again.

Spectacular views! Unbelievable sunrises and sunsets! Nice facilities with a helpful, knowledgeable staff. Quiet environment but close to beach and other activities. Comfortable, clean units (unit 124 was ours.)

We stay at Whaler’s Cove every year…number of different units…this year #136. Stunning views, spacious units, beautiful grounds. serene setting, convenient parking, and outstanding staff. It doesn’t get any better! Spoil yourself and stay at Whaler’s cove!.

Beautiful inside and out! The inside space is light, airy, with plenty of room for 4. The view from the lanai is wide open, interesting, and provides unrivaled sunsets. The pool is serene, was uncrowded and hard to leave. Perfect!
