We had a nice view and a fairly quiet room. The pools didn’t do much for us but we could see how kids may enjoy them. Staff were all lovely We heard guests in the neighboring room coughing and their baby crying intermittently but it was tolerable. I haven’t looked at my final bill from checkout yet but there were price discrepancies between the asking price on ******* and those stated at the resort...
Was wonderful, staff super nice, room was clean. Only down side was that a big portion of hotel was blocked off for construction and the elevator by our room was out of service which made getting to our room a bit of a maze
Beautiful hotel. Amazing pools. Can rent floats for $6 a day. On a beach with an amazing hike.
Property was very spread out. Food was fine. But staff was over the top! 5 star in service
We travel a lot and this has got to be the best resort we have ever stayed at in our lives. It was top notch. If we come back to hawaii, we will definitely without a doubt. Stay there again. Upon checking, we were greeted with a fresh flower orchid lei. The beds were so comfortable and the cleanest rooms ever. The shampoo conditioner body wash and lotions have the most amazing aromas and leave your...

We had a great stay! Our 4 year old enjoyed the pool and the local beach (poipo. If you’re traveling with kids, they will definitely enjoy the pool area. It’s kid friendly.
Great hotel and very friendly staff. We came during off season and happened to have a couple of things happen, such as power outage for a couple of hours, pool closure for a couple of hours during the afternoon for maintenance and we weren't able to contact front desk one of the says because they were upgrading their systems. Other than those minor things, the hotel and the rooms were very nice.
The room was spotless the staff was kind. This resort is so comfortable I almost didn’t explore Kauai. No regrets would do again and pay more if I had to for this experience. I got the same breakfast 5 days in a row because it was absolutely amazing. My wife had the fillet mignon multiple times. I just can’t say enough about this place. Thank you to all the staff for everything.
My whole experience was amazing I had one little issue checking in with my room, but the lady at the front desk who took care of me was amazing
Located next to Poipu Beach, the location is very convenient. It has a kitchen, washing machine, and dryer – the kind of place where you can live comfortably. The rooms are generally clean and very nice. The swimming pool is absolutely stunning and worth a visit. Parking is free.
Best spot on the island. Beautiful, clean room and customer oriented, friendly staff. Loved our stay!

Lovely property. Condo was neat & clean except the tile floor was obviously not damp-mopped between occupancies. We had an upper level view of the ocean. So tranquil there compared to O’ahu! All appliances worked well. The bed was very comfy. Bathroom & shower nice as were the toiletries. Plenty of restaurants close by. Not right on the beach but we didn’t care. Had our own assigned parking spot. We...
the grounds were nice. location was good. pools have no restrooms, so... bbq's conveniently located, but only lit by a battery powered light on the grill. bbqs sit on very small, elevated concrete pads +/- 6" which was a little dangerous. our first room was terribly hot, and even though the property is designated as being smoke free, our neighbor under us who apparently is a resident, was smoking heavily...
The condo was clean and well equipped. If you needed anything additional the front desk was helpful. The portable air conditioner was a life saver for being able to sleep. My only concern was the bed and pillows. They definitely need updated. The pillows need to be updated ASAP.
Clean spacious rooms with full kitchen and bathrooms. Very good location not far from Shipwreck beach and Poipu beach. Convenient parking. Cool winds and good views.
The perfect setting to watch each sunset, central to most every attraction on Kauai from Waimea Canyon to Princeville and all parts in between. We will return here again
We were very surprised when we arrived our condo had no air conditioning! I was told most units do not have air. The front office helped move us to a suite with air in the bedroom, thankfully as we were there for 6 nights. I feel it should be advertised better on the website that air conditioning is limited. We had a great condo and the air in the bedroom was a savior! Pools were nice and location...

Spectacular views! Unbelievable sunrises and sunsets! Nice facilities with a helpful, knowledgeable staff. Quiet environment but close to beach and other activities. Comfortable, clean units (unit 124 was ours.)
We stay at Whaler’s Cove every year…number of different units…this year #136. Stunning views, spacious units, beautiful grounds. serene setting, convenient parking, and outstanding staff. It doesn’t get any better! Spoil yourself and stay at Whaler’s cove!.
Beautiful inside and out! The inside space is light, airy, with plenty of room for 4. The view from the lanai is wide open, interesting, and provides unrivaled sunsets. The pool is serene, was uncrowded and hard to leave. Perfect!
Whaler's Cove is our favorite place to stay in all the islands. It is easy walking distance to two lovely, toddler-friendly beaches, walking distance to The Shops at Kukul'ula and its terrific restaurants, and only a five minute drive to Poipu beach. Very private, very quiet, and all rooms have ocean views. We have seen breaching Humpbacks from our lanai. And there is terrific snorkeling in the mouth...
We recently stayed at Whalers Cove for our honeymoon and had the absolute best experience! 233 was the perfect setup for us! Very clean and well stocked with anything you might need. We also had the most amazing view and saw so much sea life right out of our door! Every staff member was very friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the special made beach blankets we received in our honeymoon gift...
Aloha! This is a very special, quiet spot right on the ocean in Koloa. All you hear are the waves crashing and can see turtles, whales and dolphins from your lanai. It’s always hard to leave. We’ve stayed at Whalers Cove 4 times and it has always been wonderful. Mahalo to the amazing staff for always being so accommodating and helpful. We will be back again next year! It’s something we always look...

Property was lovely. Kitchen was well equiped. Cosy. Clean. Quiet and secluded. Walkable to the beach. Free laundry. Huge TV
Beautiful gardens, lovely rooms, quiet and tucked away. 5 mins walk to the shore.
We had a great stay at the Royal Palm. Unit was fully equipped with everything you can think of, very clean and working properly. Manager was very responsive and very helpful. Very short walk to the beach , on the sunny side of the island. I would definitely stay there again!
Hideaway Cove is the perfect place to stay in the heart of Poipu. A very beautiful place to call home for a few days and it’s made even better by the hospitality from Herb. Very comfortable with lots of extras. If this is available to rent, which I doubt is very often, go ahead and book it!
We enjoyed our stay here, it was like staying at a friend's house. Very spacious, very clean, and well cared for. The location was ideal - we rented a Jeep but walked to almost everywhere in the Poipu Beach area. It was our first time in Kauai and the owners were very helpful in identifying local things to do and experience, and even helping to set some up via their contacts.
Awesome location, getting to the beach is so quick and easy! The rooms are always in great condition and the neighborhood is nice and quiet, it’s the perfect getaway spot ☺️

One of the most amazing places. Beautiful location, and the room was awesome! The only thing that surprised me, since I didn't book the room, was the one I stayed in did not have AC. I managed but would have preferred it.
The view was amazing! Our condo was so nice. I appreciated the quick responses from the property on any questions I had. The parking was tight but doable. Great area for everything!
Poipu, Kauai Great views, beaches within walking distance, well cared for pool right on the water - turtles everywhere! Bathrooms are small and cramped.
The property is in the perfect place on the south shore. Poipu beach is a very short walk. The views are just the best. The propery its self is the best 1 i have ever stayed at.
The location and family were great, but service was sub-par. We paid $700/night for the townhouse rental for a family of 6. They charged $80/a day for housekeeping, but we were told they only clean after we checkout. While we are staying, we had to put our used towels in a bag by the front door and call for housekeeping to swap them out the next morning. We called in for a swap and put our towels...
We absolutely loved staying here!!! Beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The location right on the ocean was spectacular!!! We saw tons of sea turtles swimming around. I can't wait to come back!

We were in building four and loved it. The view is stunning! Our unit was clean, modern, well stocked and the perfect size for four of us. We used the pool and tennis court on the property. The location is perfect - close to Poipu Beach. We would love to come back!
Quiet & beautiful. The famous Brenneke Beach is a 5 min walk & 2 min further is Poipu state park. Great snorkeling & a place for the little ones.
Well maintained grounds. Nice location. Beautiful view of both sunset and sunrise, if your up that early. The pool was nice and enjoyed the hot tub. Our unit 1303 was renovated and quite nice. Although it did not have air-conditioning each room had a ceiling fan and a regular fan. That was adequate for us.
Great location and views. Off the beaten path enough that it's not too crowded and residents all seemed very pleasant and welcoming.
This resort is on the ocean some rooms are ocean front. Units are privately owned so some are better than others. Some worn and needing makeovers others better. Unit 1201 had good beds both king size and bedding was fine. The bathrooms were little tired. We had a partial ocean view from the Lanai which we enjoyed. Plenty of room for two couples with bathroom privacy . Try the garden grill in koloa...

Great facility, grounds were immaculate, pool clean and well maintained. Room was spotless and very well stocked with all the necessary dining essentials. Views from the room were phenomenal, was a pleasant stay and we look forward to our next stay here
Conveniently centrally located and near several nice restaurants. Very comfortable unit with view of the ocean, even though swimming near the condo was discouraged. We were disappointed by the lack of certain items (no Tupperware, alum foil, Saran Wrap, food storage bags, as well as a tiny sponge and about two teaspoons of dishwashing soap) that you would expect to find when you’re paying this price...
We did not use the pool and had no balcony and had to imagine the ocean view from our room. The sofas can definitely use a cleaning. We had to complain several times before the wireless was fixed. There was no room cleaning for our entire stay.
This is a wonderful place to stay. It is located right on the water and beautiful grounds with pool.
Kaha Lani is a wonderful place to stay. Quiet condos within walking distance to Lydgate. The grounds are clean and we love that there is laundry facilities on the property.
Loved the view and how quiet during the day. No air conditioning but nice breeze. Early rooster wakeup call though!!

Very cozy stay, we made use of the kayaks, but it was too rainy to go to the beach, still, a great amenity to have beach chairs, much more economical than having to rent them.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Fern Grotto Inn which is well located for excursions all over the island and surrounded by a beautiful garden with direct access to the Waimea river (Kanus available). The studio (Coco B) was tastefully and functionally furnished and well equipped and maintained. If I get another opportunity to travel to Kauai I would chose this accomodation again.
I didn't want to leave. Usually, even at the finest resorts, I am anxious to get back to my own home. But Fern Grotto felt like a wonderful new home. I loved waking to the roosters and new spider webs spun during the night and the ever emerging blossoms on this plant lover's mecca. Housekeeping was exactly right: spotless, small points of beauty placed around the room, everything we could ever think...
Comfortable, secure and pleasant. Out the doorstep is a short walk to the beach to greet the sun rise. Bikes available for a wonderful bike lane along the ocean. Kayaks for paddling up the river to the Grotto. Nice mountain hikes nearby. Beachfront Mamahunes and Lava Lava bar/restaurants are nearby and just a 20 minute walk away.
The cottage we had for two weeks was very comfortable with a very functional and high quality kitchen, private yard, and had many other unexpected amenities. The location was convenient for exploring all parts of the island and had many nearby dining and shopping options. We used the freely offered kayaks on the adjacent river, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, etc. we will stay here...
This was a fantastic place to stay. You are close enough to town to walk to amenities and beaches but it’s a very private and quiet location. The grounds and cottages are very beautiful and well maintained. We stayed at the river cottage which is very roomy with everything you could need. Exceptional kindness and courtesy, rooms are comfortable, laundry facilities a bonus, easy parking, great view, retro beach scene, shops close by, easy to find, excellent wifi, and the loveliest lady at reception even repaired my broken shoe. Thank you to everyone!
The front desk service was so-so. I requested twin beds in the booking notes, and booked through an agent on Ctrip, but they couldn't get one. They even said that terms like "king/twin" don't guarantee availability. Lesson learned, and I'll share this with others: if you definitely want twin beds, read the details carefully before booking. It's close to the beach, and there are decent restaurants nearby...
The front desk staff were very friendly, and the environment was lovely, right by the sea. It was very comfortable for one person. It's about a 10-minute drive from the airport, and if there's no traffic, I would definitely choose this place again next time.
Lovely stay, looks way nicer than the photos. The room amenities are low but the resort is lovely, great vibes, friendly staff and good location to travel north and south.
There's a laundry room! Washing and drying costs $4 each, it smells amazing, I even washed all of Honolulu's dirty clothes! There's a Coconut Markerplace shopping area nearby, a five-minute walk, no need to cross the street. It has a medium-sized supermarket selling hot ready-made meals; the food is decent, no tipping is required, and they accept UnionPay, which is great. No deposit is required,...
The hotel is a beach hotel, but not the best for swimming - waves, wind, rocks. But if you have a car, it is convenient to get from the hotel to both the north and south of the island. There is a large selection of food/restaurants near the hotel.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Islander. It has been quiet, peaceful, and friendly, and there are a lot of good places to eat within comfortable walking distance from the hotel. And the ocran view from our lanai is mesmerizing. Yeah, we'd stay here again!
Rooms could be updated. Ac didn’t work in the beach fronting room the first night. 2nd night we moved rooms but then was upstairs when we specifically wanted to walkout to the beach. So that was disappointing, but AC was more important. Location to beach was amazing!! Always had chairs to lounge in and the beach was amazing and relaxing.

The pool made you feel like you were truly in a tropical place and not just a hotel pool. The restaurant had love music and great food.

Apartments are spacious and nice. Parking is easy. Property is very nice and enjoyable just to walk around. There’s plenty of local restaurants and grocery nearby.
This was a very nice property in all aspects. Parking was easy and amenities inside condo and on property were great and clean. Staff always available and helpful, kind and friendly. The Mai tai Monday and produce market on property were added benefits! Breakfast food truck also nice option! Thank you!
The property is definitely dated, but there the apartment was full of what was needed and very organized. The only complaint I have about the apartment is the lack of A/C. It's much too warm to have no A/C. The overall property was fine but again, a little dated.
It was a delight to stay there. Everything was perfectly clean and in working order. Having a full kitchen was an extra benefit. Staff was very friendly and polite. We missed having an AC unit, but they were plenty of fans. There were lots of beautiful tropical plants and birds on the property and very nice view of a sunset over the ocean.
