This hotel is in the area of holiday village. The surroundings is very beautiful. The staffs were very friendly. The breakfast was very good but we waited for more than a hour.

This is the largest Hilton resort in the world, with many pools but no swimmable beach. The hotel has dolphins and turtles. I recommend staying in MAKAI for a better environment and more convenient access. However, the hotel is quite suburban, so you'll need to rent a car to get to the city center. There's a $5 one-way shuttle bus available within the hotel.

I booked a Makai Resort View Room, but was forced to change to the Palace Tower.
Even when I showed them my reservation details, they insisted that the room was unavailable, so I had no choice but to stay in the Palace Tower, but I'm still not satisfied.
The service was very poor; the air conditioning was broken and couldn't be operated, and room service was not even serviced.

The service was terrible. The hotel didn't provide amenities like combs, toothbrushes, or toothpaste, and we had to pay $38 for parking even though we were hotel guests. I felt the hotel was large, but there were too many hidden charges.

Extremely bad. It felt like staying in a construction site. The room had a strong smell of disinfectant, as if it was being temporarily disinfected after guests checked in. The room lacked essential amenities, with only a few disposable paper cups.

Absolutely terrible! It looked nice from the outside, but the room facilities were like a motel. The price was way too high for a motel! If it were a motel this dirty, fine, I could tolerate it because it was cheap! But this wasn't a particularly cheap hotel. The blankets were absolutely disgusting; the inside was black and stained! When we opened the sofa, a lot of trash fell out, including several sanitary napkin wrappers?! 😡 We saw a notice on the hotel mirror upon check-in stating that room cleaning should be booked in advance. We stayed for three nights. On the second day, after returning to the hotel, we found there was no shampoo, and the bath towels hadn't been changed! Even if the room wasn't cleaned, the bath towels should at least be changed. Who reuses hotel bath towels repeatedly? On the third morning, we called to request room cleaning. Customer service agreed, but when we returned to the hotel that evening, the staff had only left four bath towels and a bottle of shampoo next to the TV. The trash hadn't been collected, and most importantly, the bed still hadn't been made! I was thinking of just enduring it for one night, but I want to warn everyone to avoid this hotel; it's absolutely terrible!!!

The hotel is very large, with a monorail train running 12 hours a day. The resort environment is very good, with a full range of recreational facilities, and you can get close to dolphins. Watching the sunset on the small hill by the sea is a rare enjoyment.

The rooms were not cleaned, there were no toothbrushes, shoes, kettles, etc., and I found a lot of our country's cultural relics in this hotel, which were so scary. They were all in an unprotected state and could be touched everywhere, and there were no warning signs saying they could not be touched. I walked quickly and stayed for two days and hurried back to Oahu. The Big Island is really remote, and there is not much to eat in the hotel, and the food is also bad.
