Excellent! There are three swimming pools with water slides. It's very clean, and the beach is incredibly calm and blue, with stunning sunsets every day. The staff are very attentive. I witnessed a volcanic eruption on the Big Island – an unforgettable experience!

Overall it's average. Except for the beach, which is a highlight, everything else is average. For families, it is recommended to choose Hilton.

It's very good, with its own private beach and unbeatable scenery. The hotel has complete facilities and is suitable for a seaside leisure vacation. The hotel has its own swimming pool and spa. The environment is elegant and comfortable.

Good upper level resort. Not quite 5 star accommodation but almost. Staff were attentive and offered to take care of even simple tasks like setting up pool lounges. Room cleaned and clean towels twice a day. Family friendly, gentle ocean, cabanas, chairs and towels.

There’s no upgrade, no late check out, nothing special and the property is going thru construction. Equipment for ocean activities rental are old. Don’t feel pleasant with the price we paid.

The property is very well kept but the pictures used for this unit were very misleading as the property is very dated carpet throughout and the bathtub / shower is a safety concern and needs to be in the pictures when renting.

Fully equipped kitchen, beach chairs and cooler bag was provided as well.

I don't think a 5 star review is high enough! We loved how clean the room and property were. It was so quiet and peaceful. The management was always so prompt to respond if we had any questions. We stayed here a week on our first trip to Hawaii. Kona coast vacations was great at communicating with us. The condo was very large and had everything we needed. The only reason I have it 4 instead of 5 is because it’s dated and much in need of remodeling.

It would be nice to have a porter overnight in case of emergency or sometching like that. There was no one there when I arriever and I was struggling with finding my accomodation, and no one to help

Have stayed at various condos in Kolea over the years and was dissapointed with 2C. The unit needed an update -- only 4 chairs at the dining table, toilets would run (my husband fixed them), bedding was old and worn, grill needed to be cleaned and parking was an issue. Beautiful location right on the beach at A bay. Infinity pool and clubhouse overlooking the ocean. Condos are well appointed with everything you need. Shops, golf and sightseeing nearby.

Spent a lot of time at the pool which has a great view. The private beach is a nice touch, but the sand is very rocky. Lava Lava is a short walk on the beach for some good food and drinks. I loved the cooking capabilities the condo offered and its a bike ride from island gourmet for items missed during the costco run. I hope to stay here again! Great location.

One of the best resorts in waikola. Well worth the price. Places are big, modern and very safe.

If you get a chance to visit the petroglyphs it worth the short hike. P.S. wear proper hiking shoes.

The only downfall to our place was the AC duct to drain condensation. Drains right above the upstairs bedroom window and makes a lot of noise when it hits the side of the house. The rest of the experience is awesome. Great layout on plenty of room for the 8 of us.

My wife and I love spending time at Ka Milo. We enjoy the mellow vibe and spacious lanai. We have shared memories with our parents and our friends, and now our children at Ka Milo. Our next step is to purchase a home here, we like it that much. It’s a short walk from the beach, a short walk to shopping, and a short drive to anything else you want to see.

Nice units and great pool area. We stayed in Unit 420, which was a standalone cottage; it was gorgeous and we would highly recommend it. Some of the units have very small driveways, so it can be hard to fit much more than a midsized SUV. The pool is a nice size, but it is unheated. This is the largest Hilton resort in the world, with many pools but no swimmable beach. The hotel has dolphins and turtles. I recommend staying in MAKAI for a better environment and more convenient access. However, the hotel is quite suburban, so you'll need to rent a car to get to the city center. There's a $5 one-way shuttle bus available within the hotel.

The service was terrible. The hotel didn't provide amenities like combs, toothbrushes, or toothpaste, and we had to pay $38 for parking even though we were hotel guests. I felt the hotel was large, but there were too many hidden charges.

The hotel is very large, with a monorail train running 12 hours a day. The resort environment is very good, with a full range of recreational facilities, and you can get close to dolphins. Watching the sunset on the small hill by the sea is a rare enjoyment.

This is definitely a wonderful place to take a vacation in Big Island. You have ocean views, pools, lagoons, dolphin quest, tropical fishes, and many other facilities.
