Hampton Inn & Suites Michigan City in Michigan City

$259 a night and this is what our room looks like for cleanliness. I called down to the front desk. They said they’d have someone come and clean it while we went to our rehearsal dinner as we cannot shower as there is no shampoo or anything in our shower as we were told there would be it was completely empty. We were assured our room would be cleaned when we came back. We got back from our stuff late went to get ready to bed. Shower was completely empty of everything and the room was not clean when we get up in morning to get ready for wedding we noticed again they didn’t fill the shower with anything and it wasn’t clean. It still looked the same so he called onto the front desk. Same lady answered she was upset that this had happened to us. She offered to Wolve to a different girl. They took that offer because we needed to take a shower at this point to get ready for this wedding as we didn’t shower the night before for rehearsal and we are going to a wedding. The only thing they did was made our bed and refreshed the towels. So they switched our rooms to a different one that one seemed a little bit better, but not the best that night we went to sleep. We were awaken at about midnight by all the fire alarms going off where we had to evacuate downstairs to be told that we can go back up to our rooms because we didn’t know what happened, not to impressed by this hotel. I was told the manager would call me the next morning to discuss our stay which that didn’t happen either stay away from this Hampton by Hilton I would more compare this to a Quality Inn!
