Nice clean room with a waterfront view, comfortable bed and quiet setting. We only had breakfast while there. I had the Lobster Benedict both days. Delicious. Service was slow. Servers seemed disinterested in refilling coffee, checking on tables etc. otherwise overall a great place to stay.

A very quiet hotel with clean rooms. The hotel is close to the sea and the beach is the day after tomorrow. It is also very close to the Bar Harbor Pier. For dining, it is better to go to the Bar Harbor scenic area, where there are many choices.

The hotel is in a great location by the sea, and the restaurant is good. But the room is terrible, the soundproofing is very, very poor, you can hear the neighbors talking, turning on the tap, watching TV, and the carpet smells very bad. I went there just for the environment

The environment is good. The deposit is returned very slowly. It has been 40 days and it has not been returned yet.

The service is very good, and it is very convenient to have a shuttle bus to downtown. Close to the sea, the scenery is beautiful

Great location, close to the ferry, which was great when you don't bring your car. The only thing I thought could be improved was the front desk /reception area -it wasn't very nice. Very small, dark and very outdated not welcoming all.

Had a very enjoyable stay. Staff were very kind and professional. Room was super clean. Much appreciated. Excellent food too at your in-house restaurant. Looking forward to our next stay. Plus you had gentlemen shoveling between cars after the snow. Very grateful for that.

What a beautiful hotel!! We enjoyed our views from our balcony and enjoyed the Bistro dinner the first night. Breakfast, which was included with our rate, was delicious and the staff at the restaurant were amazing. The check in clerk was also amazing very accommodating since we requested a room change since our original rooms were right in front of the elevator. We loved our stay! Thank you

Very clean updated staff was great fifth year in a row we have stayed here for our anniversary the only complaint is the hot tub has never worked properly

Facilities were clean and comfortable with beautiful views over the water. The staff was exceptional. They checked in to ensure that our stay was going well and that we had everything we needed. They also followed up on any request and were certain to communicate all information. We will be looking forward to a return trip to this wonderful resort.

Room was comfy with snacks and lovely linens . The sauna was a nice extra when the weather was pretty chilly and windy out in town all day . Even though we had breakfast off site , we ended up really liking how it got us up and out into town and we liked the little drive as the fall colors were spectacular

Everything was fine except the pillows are awful. Please invest in some new pillows. I can recommend some affordable ones if you want. The shower is tiny.

The room was clean and fine although the bed was far too soft. We were locked out of the building as our code did not unlock the door. There was no answer to the posted phone even though we called multiple times over two days. Please note there is no breakfast on the property but guests do have a voucher for a very good breakfast 15 minutes away.

Nice older inn, actually quite a ways from Bar Harbor, but relatively quiet and comfortable. Nice lobby with snacks, coffee and even bottled water!

Dated but comfortable and clean Clean room and comfortable bed. AC unit old and hard to know how to control. Furniture was dated. Outdoor lighting needs to be improved for safety walking to and from car at dark was almost treacherous - there were stones and steps and no sidewalk around to the entrance. Very helpful when I miss booked dates. Room was fine, comfortable, clean. "fireplace" was a plug in that did not work; shower door was off track. But it was also billed as a B and B. Turned out that the breakfast was a 14 min drive into Bar Harbor. And all the hosting was remote. Feel that using B and B as a descriptor is misleading.

Breakfast was more than adequate and buffet was one of the more elegant breakfast buffets I’ve seen. The hot entree selections were a little more limited than I expected (no breakfast potatoes? Also can’t remember if there was ever pancakes, French toast or waffles in 3 days I was there. And oatmeal most days was too thick and hard to spoon into bowl.) in spite of these minor nitpicks, I actually loved...

Front desk staff was very kind and extremely helpful. Perfect walking distance to the main square while also not being too close. On site parking was a must and the lot felt secure. Easy access to the main road to head towards Acadia as well! I would 100% recommend staying here for anyone trying to make the perfect trip to Bar Harbor!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay. The hotel is in a great walkable location, with comfortable well-equipped rooms, easy parking, genuinely friendly and helpful staff, and a number of lovely unexpected touches like afternoon cookies and chilled beer glasses. We hope to get a chance to stay here again

Dont stay on first floor.room117 its face to parking and all passenger show u inside room. We dont like this.not recomend to book on GF and 1 floor.

The Bar Harbor Grand Hotel is located in the perfect spot for visiting the shops in town, restaurants, and Acadia National Park! The view was outstanding. Very nice balcony. Housekeeper Debbie went above and beyond. Laundry facilities were nearby. Free parking. Breakfast was not included, but we paid for a really nice breakfast in their restaurant. Very comfortable room.

The hotel is in a good location and was very clean. That being said, the buildings and parking lots are old and dated. The rooms are small and the bathroom was so small that the opening to the shower was 17 inches( yes, I measured it.) If you stay here pay the extra money for the ocean view.

Older hotel / motel with great location. Probably needs some updating and the room was little dated but for the price met all our needs.

The beds were clean, but the tables and bathroom did not seem to have been cleaned. The carpets were outdated, with outdoor carpeting as well which seemed odd.

Loved our stay here. We had a 2 bedroom family room. It was spotlessly cleaned. All staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Included breakfast exceeded our expectations! They even wrote a happy birthday message to me on the large board in the breakfast room, lol! Location was great. The breakfast at this hotel was outstanding. There were several food choice options with healthy, non-gluten choices. The breakfast area was very clean. We loved the retro decoration style of the hotel and rooms. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

This motel is awesome! It was recommended to us by family members that have stayed here every year for the last 20 years. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This was our second stay - it's a top notch location with friendly staff. There are loads of activities onsite and it's minutes from downtown. Comfortable rooms with 50s retro chic.

Quick but lovely. Was only there for one night. Drove up from CT just for sunset and sunrise, worth every hour of driving! I will be back!

The breakfast cost $15 per person which I felt was no “deal” the fruit was old and bare minimum. We were offered our breakfast to be brought to our “motel” room. No table or chairs to make the breakfast nice. Just motel room. We were then offered one of the tables in the inns living room which was nicer.

Mosley Cottage Inn was a delightful place to stay in Bar Harbor. Delicious breakfast, fresh warm cookies every afternoon, and great location. Very easy after hours check in too.

The rating for food was neutral because we didn't eat on the property. We loved the location, we walked everywhere except to Acadia :) The water pressure was one of the best we've experienced in a hotel. Highly recommend and we'll definitely book here again.

Awesome place. Very quiet street and Jsut one block to downtown. It's all very walkable from motel. We loved our stay. The room was very spacious had windows you could open for some fresh air. Bed was comfortable. Loved out stay here!! Simple check in and checkout

Old but well maintained hotel at a very good location in Bar Harbor close to Acadia National Park.
