Beautiful scenery and walking trails on property. Pool Oceanside was wonderful! Very clean.

This is a difficult review for me to leave. I have been thinking for over a week of how to best communicate my experience so here it goes. I’ll start with a couple complaints: I don’t think the website or their property map communicated effectively about all the cabins and lodges being ALL pet rooms. And only the main inn was pet free. So, because our cabin room was connected to two other rooms...

Room was large and clean. Last updated quite some time ago. Bathroom enormous but no shelf in shower and shower plumbing from 1975. Not interested in spa. Every one was nice but no way to get ice. Old packets with powdered cream and saccharine…yuck! No smart TV. Path to parking lot poorly lit and moldy. Felt kinda sad. Like a highway motel but extra large. Area at spruce point and Boothbay...

My now husband and I spent our “mini-moon” at SPI and loved everything about this place! All rooms are steps away from the ocean and the grounds are beautifully kept. The Oceanside pool and hot tub were so relaxing we didn’t want to leave for dinner! Sunset was beautiful! The boat cruise was amazing. All the staff were kind and accommodating! We didn’t want to leave!

Staff was very nice and the room was spotless. It was comfortable and cozy and convenient. I would stay here again

The place is Very Dated. Thin walls but for a night or 2 it’s ok. Rusty towel rack, painted tub/ shower, chairs were kinda nasty looking. Probably not going to stay there again.

The room and property were neat and clean. It was a slow time of year. The room was well organized and updated decor wise. The mattresses could use and upgrade as they were not the most comfortable. The breakfast was basic but fine. I would recommend offering some juices.

The beds were incredibly uncomfortable & the staff was inattentive and disinterested in solving a problem with the TV that we had. I love Boothbay Harbor & visit frequently...now we may just be making day trips, because this is one of the only places to stay in town! Definitely not worth the price per night...

Do not stay on the bottom floor. They put wood floors in all the rooms, which makes the floor above you very loud with people walking.

room in good condition except for a loud heating unit was very disturbing throughout the night/ Received a less than warm and welcoming greeting from front desk at check-in
