The bathmat was dirty-looking and unsanitary. Couldn't even use the shower/tub. There is no bedside table lamp so it's either totally dark or the overhead lights have to be on. No safety lock on the door. No place to set toiletries in the bathroom. Coffee was tasty.
clean room with comfortable bed. Easy walk to the beach. Parking in front of room. Friendly and accommodating staff.
The Tides was veey close to the Boatdwalk and brach. We use CPAPS and had to use extension cords. Bed comforter wss great, fridge was big w freezer and appreciatef. Other occupants wete loud until 1am on night andc3am the next night.management was very helpful.
Traveled with partner, bed comfortable, roomy. Needed more space, bureaus for clothes. Sam was very welcoming at check in. Would stay there again.
Excellent service
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I woukd definitely stay there again

We went to the Emerson Inn because we were scouting out wedding locations for my daughter. The Inn is in a beautiful location, good for walking along the water and close to the town of Rockport. On both nights, we enjoyed eating in the hotel restaurant which was very good. The interior is a charming older building that is well maintained and updated. The people who work in the Inn are friendly...
The inn is absolutely beautiful — everything was spotless and welcoming. The bedding was extremely comfortable, and all the staff were friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the area. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. A special thank-you to Lynn, whose kindness and exceptional service made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this wonderful place
My wife and I were looking for quiet old New England Inn with charm to celebrate our 60 wedding anniversary - The Emerson was the ultimate selection. Expansive lawns between the hotel and the deep blue water was the perfect setting. Being about a mile away from the busy shopping area helped ensure the tranquility was with us during our entire stay. The unobstructed view of the water from our room...
We went to this beautiful hotel for our honeymoon as a peaceful getaway for a couple of days. With the gorgeous ocean view, perfect weather for walking, beautiful gardens and delicious breakfast, this location and hotel did not disappoint in any way and made for a most memorable honeymoon. The customer service was also excellent.
Just absolutely spectacular. We had our wedding at the Emerson Inn this weekend and filled the inn with our closest family and friends - there was nothing but great reviews from everyone. The staff was truly amazing and did everything they could to make us all feel welcome and comfortable. We could not recommend the Emerson enough, and cannot wait to come back every year on our anniversary!
We just got back from a wonderful weekend at the Emerson Inn. It was our 45th wedding anniversary and I couldn’t decide which inn to go to but then decided on the Emerson Inn. What a choice!!!! At first we booked for two nights but after being there one night added another night to our reservation and they were able to accommodate us. The surroundings of the property is just beautiful. Excellent property within walking distance of all the best shops. Great, seamless communication. The restroom is small, but to be expected. I will stay here again and again!
Location is awesome. Texting service allows fast & efficient communication. Clean. Parking it tight but manageable. Perfect hotel for a town like Rockport…
Very well maintained, close to everything at good price Within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and galleries
Great place with high quality amenities and excellent communication. My wife and I spent two nights here for a wedding trip and enjoyed the space the location to the downtown and great customer service. The room was clean and has the type of amenities to make the stay comfortable, including refrigerator and coffee maker. The area, though close to the downtown was very neighborly and quiet we had no...
We enjoyed our 4 day stay immensely! Our room was very well cared for, and I was very happy with the communications via text! It made everything go smoothly. I've stayed at Eagle House a number of years back(2018?), and i noticed a freshness about it. Love the calm, soothing color of room 12💚
Thank you for making our vacation a pleasure!!
Very nice and clean rooms. Very short walk to everything downtown and to the beach. Would definitely stay here again for the next visit to Rockport.

Clean, comfortable room; courteous staff; early check-in; good continental breakfast; convenient location.
We dealt with three different staff members. We were a half hour early for check in but there were only a handful of people staying there being the off season. The woman who would eventually check us in was sitting in the breakfast area on her tablet. She could plainly see me standing at the front desk, but scrolled on her tablet for several more minutes before coming over to check us in. The vibe...
The staff was very helpful. The location was great and the rooms were clean. The indoor pool area was a little cold so we didn’t stay in there too much but overall a good experience.
Clean hotel, courteous and friendly staff. Plentiful breakfast and nice pool area.
Will definitely recommend!
We were impressed with how clean the hotel was.
As for the pool it could use up dated. The fire pit was very nice but, it rained one night and the seat cushions were socking wet. Maybe put them in pool area at night.
The continental breakfast was simple but good.
Also staff was very accommodating.
Room was nice. Good size. Bed was comfortable. Great walking area for my dogs. Staff at desk were friendly. Convenient location. Would have loved some bacon with breakfast.

Great place to stay. Staff was awesome and extremely helpful. Super clean and zero musty smell you might expect from an older facility near the ocean. Definitely will stay there again.
Lovely quant property. A little dated but the upkeep is well done.
Breakfast was good however seating is mainly outside no matter the weather.
Staff was friendly, and even let us borrow an umbrella for a rainy day. The room is an old school room, but very nicely done. Bed was firm, and by morning I was moving around a lot. Breakfast was nice, but limited. Views are great! I would definitely stay here again!
The view was the highlight of our accommodations. The room, bath and beds were all only average.
We enjoyed our stay at The Vista. The view of Good Harbor from the balcony was stunning. We loved seeing the sunrise and moonrise. The room was spacious and quiet. The bathroom was a little tight but was clean and every detail is considered for guest accommodations. The breakfast was delightful and we enjoyed sitting at tables under the tent and enjoying the fresh air and view.
Recommended with moderated expectations
The view of the harbour made this motel worthwhile! The breakfast was nice but sparse and for the price we paid, I was expecting more. Nonetheless, I would stay here again because the location was great, the staff was friendly and it was clean and reasonably comfortable.

Hot tub awesome in December. We visited for Christmas By the Sea which was fun. Staff were amazing. The parade watch party was excellent.
The only suggestion I would offer would be room darkening shades on the front of the building as the streetlights are very bright. Otherwise, I have always loved Abalonia.
This was my first time staying at the Abalonia Inn, but it won’t be my last. From the moment my friend and I stepped into the office to check in, we felt welcomed! Mark was kind and very accommodating. The location is so close to downtown restaurants, shops, and the beach! The room was inviting and clean. A continental breakfast and afternoon treats with hot apple cider were available with no...
Mark was the ultimate host. He was welcoming and made sure we were comfortable, had the lay of the land, and made sure we had plans for a wander that evening with the 'must sees' of Ogunquit.
The room was clean, linens so soft and comfortable, we cant wait to visit again!
Clean room, very close to shops and restaurants,
Very nice property . Room was clean and the location is right in the heart of town . Park your car and you don’t have to drive until your ready to go home. .
Property is very nice, location is perfect and staff is very friendly and welcoming!

The view is beautiful. The service at the reception was great. They called me for confirmation and the check-in was fast. The breakfast was great — fresh and with good service.
This place is a perfect gem. Yes, the view is stunning. The hotel is also impressive. The desk staff are fantastically friendly and helpful. The cleaning and maintenance staff clearly care about their work, because the place is immaculate. Everyone working there should be super proud of their work.
Beautiful views and wonderful porch. Nice linens and pillows. Bathroom was dated. The walls were very thin, I could hear the man in the next room snoring all night and when they showered it was very loud.
The staff was very friendly and offered ideas for dining in the area. The morning sunrise view over the ocean was spectacular. It appeared that the rooms were recently updated and were clean and comfortable. Would definitely come back next time I’m in the area.
Nice location where you can see the sunrise from your deck. The shower is nice, beds are comfortable, and even though breakfast is extra, I would HIGHLY recommend eating there because it was one of the best meals I had! SO GOOD!
Beautiful room with a nice front porch for sitting, right on the ocean. Highly recommend this property is amazing.

Lovely place! Friendly and easy check in, nice spacious room, great water pressure, cozy bed! All the good stuff. We’ll be back! :)
No-Frills, clean establishment in a good location. Walking ( 20 minutes) distance to downtown. Great restaurants and breakfast spots close by.
The location was great with two breakfast options close by that were recommended by the staff. The accommodations were comfortable. A lamp with no switch needed to be unplugged to turn off and plugged in to turn on. The hanger on bathroom door was missing a screw so was useless.
Great little motel
Great little motel, I was unsure after seeing some negative reviews but the rooms were very comfortable and clean. The pool was closed so cannot comment but location was fabulous and we enjoyed dinner at the lobster pound next door
The motel itself was very nice. Needs some updating in the rooms. Especially the bathroom.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, however was never in the office. Beds were not made for the second night, nor were the towels renewed

We just booked our next Summer stay and I realized I never posted a review from our first visit! We had a wonderful stay last July. Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Close enough to walk into town or they have a wonderful trolley. We can't wait for our next visit!
First time visit to The Dunes and it was great despite the blustery weather. The warm hospitality and little touches included a hot thermos of coffee, local pastries and The NY Times newspaper every morning was a joy to look forward to. The fireplace, lots of sunlight, amenities including s’mores at the fire pit and hot apple cider in the afternoons at the Lodge. A shout out to Lynn for her help, warmth...
My husband and I stayed at the Dunes On the Waterfront for 5 days. It was a wonderful and relaxing vacation! The grounds, river, beach, and sunrises all beautiful. Relaxing in the porch was peaceful looking at the water and the grounds. The front staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. We had a problem with the lock on the door and we went to the front desk, they came to the cottage and saw...
Historic loveliness! Love all they’ve done to update the cottages. The new bicycles are so adorable and fun! We loved the breakfast baskets and looked forward to it each day. The grounds were so gorgeous and the sunset and sunrise took my breath away and even caused me to tear up from the overwhelming views.
We recently hosted a family gathering for a special birthday at the Dunes. From the moment we arrived, we knew this was a truly special place. We were simply blown away by the graciousness of the staff, the beautiful setting, countless thoughtful touches and of course the tasteful, understated and beautiful cottages. The cottages were nestled around the property, some under the trees and all focused...
Magical experience that exceeded our expectations! The perfect idyllic setting for a Maine coastal experience. You basically have your own private beach! Special shout out to Laura, our pontoon captain. This property focuses on providing the guests a special experience with many little touches that separate it from others! We did not use the hot tub - the only bad thing I noticed was from others using it there was mold on the ceiling and mold on the window.
We love staying here! The ability to sit in the jacuzzi and relax while watching a movie is always a huge benefit, and is a great value for the price!
This was a nice place for the price! I can’t complain. Our room had a large jacuzzi tub and a fire place. Although the fireplace is electric and dim, it was nice. The jacuzzi tub easily fit two adults, but the water leaked and the temperature was tough to get right. Aside from this, I would have given 5 stars. Housekeeping upstairs was very loud early in the morning and the vending machine was out...
The suite we had was clean and spacious. We enjoyed a soak in the hot tub after a long day of travel.
It was great but room had strong smell of bleach.
Need to lighten up w bleach. Not good to inhale tht
Really welcoming for pets, outdoor area was beautiful and really nice, room is a bit outdated, no microwave in room

Stayed here for a long weekend in the fall. The property is beautiful and well-kept inside and out. The location is convenient and the breakfast is delicious. The hosts Michael & Bill (and their adorable dog Bentley) were the highlight of the stay. They are so kind and accommodating. We requested to have breakfast made dairy-free and they went above and beyond to make sure the food was safe for us...

The room was very clean, property grounds are gorgeous, the hosts were beyond accomodating and the breakfast was superb!
Elmere house Bnb perfect place and stay for Maine in early fall. The proprietors Mike and Bill can't do enough to make you feel like visiting family and they are your favorite cousins.
