Very nice, elegant property and grounds. Conveniently located near Duke University. But while there, there was renovation work which limited the dining locations.

Very clean room and wonderful staff. The lobby has been recently renovated. Very pretty.

We stay at Washington Duke typically at least twice a year. However, this stay was not up to their typical standards. Very low water preassure in the showers and the water was barely warm. The front desk sent someone up to check it, but his efforts did not improve the situation. The room we stayed in was clean but the furnishing were in poor condition. The food was fabulous though!

Beautiful hotel. The staff is fabulous! Went out of their way to make our stay memorable.

The property is clean, but the rooms feel dated. The front desk staff wasn’t very friendly, but also not rude. The housekeeping staff seems to make little to no effort to keep noise down, with doors slamming, etc. It was rather unnerving.

The hotel is quiet and newly renovated. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable.

The breakfast menu were fresh and many choices either hot or cold items. The breakfast staff were all friendly and accommodating. The front desk staff were all friendly! I wished the room were clean ( dusty and needs vacuuming). The bed were not made properly. The fitness room were fantastic!

Every single thing you could possibly ask for in a hotel. Even the tweens traveling with me said, “oooo…this is nice!!” Clean room, comfy beds, quick elevators, courteous staff.

The hotel is in a very convenient location for walking around all the different districts downtown. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered several choices ordered from a menu and was served quickly.

The check-in process was seamless and efficient. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Gary, the bar attendant, once again provided outstanding service—he truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome.

Didn't like the $5 water, this level of hotel should provide a couple bottles a day during a stay. Also, should have some snacks available for purchase in the lobby.

The 90s called and asked for this hotel Back! Poorly maintained and obsolete rooms, especially baths. Dark hallways and broken AC in the common area. Marriot needs to do a major upgrade or let this one go.

The room Was very clean, staff was very professional and courteous. Very close To hospital. Parking garage is about 100 yards away if you can’t walk long distances, this is not a good Choice. Otherwise, the food, rooms and service are excellent.

This was our first stay at the JB Duke and we loved it. The room was very comfortable, everything was renovated and well-maintained, the lobby was cozy and gorgeous, and we loved the free coffee in the morning and the pet-friendly atmosphere! Oh, and free parking! We've already booked our next stay.

Did not have breakfast. Room was super clean and smelled nice! The only downside was parking. Instructions were not good so ended up behind people in the exit line who didnt know how to apply the tickets. This happened all three times i left the parking deck. Perhaps written Instructions would be better? And better directions on where to go from the deck to ger to the hotel itself.

Very modern and nice hotel. On Duke campus - so convenient for sporting events and access to Duke campus!!

Everything was fine except room temp fixed at 66 on a very cold night, no extra blankets. Not everyone would be comfortable, I had to make do.

The staff was great!! Being from CT and doing a marathon nearby everyone was so accomodating and nice!! Would highly recommend staying here and so convenient to the airport and the area, the mall was awesome right across the street!

Comfortable, clean rooms. Convenient location. Military rates.

The location in Apex was fine. Not near anything notable, but it served its purpose as a place to stay near Durham. The staff was extremely friendly. It was your standard issue Courtyard. If you've stayed in any of them, you've stayed in this one.

Only needed a place to stay overnight - area was fine and lobby looked freshly remodeled. The room however was pretty gross. Stains on the carpet, broken mirrors, dirt on the walls. I would only recommend if you need a place close to the airport.

I stayed to 2 nights and there was no cleaning service provided each day. I had to ask for clean towels, which were never delivered. I ended up having to get the towels from the front desk. The property was designed to host a breakfast, but nothing was offered. There was only 1 very small garbage can in the room. It filled quickly and again, there was no cleaning service provided.

This hotel needs UPDATING BAD! Our stay wasn’t so pleasant! The light bulbs were burned out, the beds are NOT comfortable, they really need to be switched out ASAP, you can’t flip a mattress but so many times! Also the carpet was very dirty! Everything in this hotel needs to be updated and SOON!

Property is in coinvent location lobby is nice, and lobby staff were friendly.I was there for 1 week I declined house keeping for 1st day ,but after that I had asked for my room to be cleaned ,and my room was never done after I asked Housekeeping and front desk.

The sign is hard to see from the road but the rooms are a nice size, staff is very helpful and friendly, always cleaning🥰🥰🥰! No problem getting help with anything

Room was a little bit dirty. I had to clean the floors when I got there. Smelled a little funny too. But was still a nice stay for the money. At just under 70 bucks you get a nice room with a hot shower. Reclining chair and a tv. Good bang for the buck.

Room was actually pretty clean compared to another Extended Stay America very close by. Big room, nice little kitchen area. Only two issues, A/C does not put out very cold air. And bathtub shower has a hole in it. Other than that pretty good!

Rooms are nice for the price. The parking lot is well lite at night. But the hallways and grounds don't get cleaned often enough. Sometimes trash stays in the same spots for a week before it gets picked up. And the weekend crowd is a very loud. Customer service has been excellent and should be a 5 star for them. But the overall, place needs more detailed cleaning inside and out.

Assistant general manager checked us in - outstanding attitude and cusfomer service. Gave us a handicapped room on first floor - very spacious. This building was recently renovated - much nicer than older extended stay buildings. One star off for several minor maintenance /cleanliness issues.
