I always stay here and it’s pleasant and always clean. Unfortunately the rehab has created a huge issue checking in and accessing the gym. Hopefully they will complete it quickly

Hotel rooms are in desperate need of being renovated but it’s the lobby, which didn’t need to be renovated, thst is being renovated. We weren’t informed of this. The work is noisy and the main elevators are closed.

Right now the property is awful! Everything under construction and actually expect people to use porte ponies.

WaDu is an easy on-off 15-501. Parking is proximate to the Hotel. Although the Hotel is undergoing renovation, the Hotel is still first class.

Unenjoyable Stay
There was incredibly loud construciton noise from a project being done inside hotel, until 5 p.m. daily. We were not alerted of this ehen booking.

Very nice stay at the WDI. All the people there were very helpful and pleasant. Everything was clean and organized. I will be going again to stay in the future!

Convenient location(walkable to west campus, about 15 mins walk to Abele square), friendly staffs, historic hotel with elegant design and decoration. If we visit Durham in the future, we will stay here again.

This place should be 5 stars. Yes, it’s a little dated in terms of decor BUT the staff, cleanliness, food & overall experience far eclipse that. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Would highly recommend if you want a lowkey, quality, comfortable experience with a great team of people taking care of you while you are a guest.

I came for dinner this week and the food was excellent!!! Our server, jenna, was amazing, she was so friendly, answered all my questions about the menu, and managed all of my dietary restrictions with ease. Usually when I eat out i get annoyance or get pushback about certain substitutions but jenna was so sweet, it wasn’t a big deal, the food arrived as requested and was delicious!!!
