Bed is comfy, room clean but a little outdated

Rooms - the pop up drain in the sink was so gross underneath that dirty particles came out from under and it wouldn’t drain properly. Air conditioning was inconsistent. Carpet is running up the walls and loose in some places so it hangs off the wall. ******* says it is a free breakfast buffet but it costs $15 per person.

We stayed for 3 days/2 nights. Upon checking in and getting into the room, we noticed the toilet was running continuously. We went back to the front desk and were given a different room no problem. We get to the next room and the card reader would not work. We went back and forth 3 times before it worked. Was jenky the rest of the trip as well. We went to use the restroom and the handle to flush the toilet came completely out. It was late. The next morning, went to call the front desk to inform them about this...no cord for the phone. We just let them know at the desk on our way out for the day. Were informed it was fixed...it was not.

The 4-star hotel was excellent in all aspects. What exceeded my expectations was the quick refund of my deposit; I got my 50 yuan deposit back as soon as I checked out. That was fantastic.

First start out with a good. It is within walking distance of several restaurants. The bar area as well maintained with a very friendly bartender. The rooms are spacious. Now what needs work. The carpet in the hallways needs replaced or deep cleaned. It is also probably time for a refresh of the mattresses and a mini refresh of the room. The rooms above were very loud, which made it hard to sleep for a light sleeper There’s a breakfast buffet with meats, eggs, potatoes, and fruit. Unfortunately, I could not have any of the meats because they said the meat on toast inside the serving dish. I informed the food counter, and the front desk that this makes it inedible for anyone with a gluten allergy. The next morning, they were still serving at the same way. There was no action taken. This is not a great way to start your day without breakfast.

I travel frequently and have never encountered such rude hotel staff. Before my trip to Oklahoma City, I called this hotel to ask about their shuttle service. The lady who answered put me on hold for five minutes, then repeatedly said, ‘I don’t understand what you’re saying’ without making any effort to listen.
I have a heavy New Zealand accent, but most hotel staff are open-minded and accustomed to assisting guests with different backgrounds. This interaction felt needlessly rude. I ended the call and quickly got the information I needed from another hotel. I hope this hotel improves its approach to guests from diverse backgrounds.

Front desk did not ask us if we wanted out chocolate chip cookie, neither when we checked out. I had to ask for my cookie.
Did say that I received 3 given to me by the hostes.

I would have given the hotel a 5 star but there was only 1 issue. Everything else was great, great room, clean and huge. Great breakfast, very yummy. Great service, all the workers were nice. The location was great because it's nestled away from other hotels in a quiet area. The only issue was the pool and hot tub. There was some mold growth and water was very thick and seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in a while, the gym was very clean though. So overall experience was great. Make sure when you're booking, book option with breakfast included. You will get vouchers for your breakfast.
