The hotel was very well located. There are lots of places to eat and drink within a 5 minute walk and getting to the rest of the city is easy with a GPS system. The staff was friendly and very accommodating in choosing a room. The lighting in the room falls short. All of the lights and lamps are a distance away from the coffee maker so I had to use the flashlight on my phone to see what I was doing...

Staff were friendly and kind. 1. The heating system in our room was flaky - room was too hot, even with the thermostat turned low or off, the in room heating system kept pushing the same amount of heat into the room. 2. Great stay! I loved it all. Rooms spacious and clean, great doggie stay program, gym and dry sauna was amazing. (used it twice!) Food was very good from Rome. Had two salads. The cheese board was very very very good! Great service. Loved the comp. sparking wine upon checking in. Super place. We will be back.

Our check in was terrific, and the location is great . However ......the beds are HORRIBLE , very uncomfortable. The restaurant (Row) is very good , but that's only if you can get them to answer the phone ! It's a very sleepy place , not a lot going on . My ten year old says it's "creepy" there ! lol

I was a bit cold in the middle of the night and I wasn’t sure if I was able to adjust the thermostat. A blanket would’ve been acceptable and comforting.

Tom at the Front Desk was very helpful, and a friendly face. Really appreciate the cleanliness of this facility. The room was clean and comfortable. Overall, the quality for the price was very good. Proximity to places in town we were visiting was very effective.

When I got to the property, I was told that the pool/hot tub was out of service. It was apparently due to a wrestling team causing havoc in the area, so I can't blame them for that. It was my original reason for booking this place. It was very reasonably priced! For a Super 8, not bad! Breakfast was basic. Pancake maker, bagels, oatmeal, cereal, bagels, juice, coffee, and milk. This hotel stay was my first time here and after reading reviews I needed to really see for myself. The rooms are yes dated a little, but they are all you need. Excellent value for the location and what's offered. The suite we stayed in was just like other lodges that we've stayed at on our journeys. The breakfast is continental but still substantial with protein available. And finally, the staff were always pleasant and willing to help with whatever questions I had.

Second stay. Again issues with water. No hot water in evening? Drain again not functioning. Property has issues with water. Septic? Wifi dropped frequently while I was working.

Hotel has issues with water. Shower did not drain and the function of the shower head was weak. Cartridge needed to be replaced and the tub filled with water while I showered.

Great lodge What a cute little place to stay with family. The room was simple but confy and we loved the hammock in the room. We slept really well. The hallways and rooms need to be ventilated regularly. The hallways in particular smelled terrible and stale, which is especially unhealthy/unsanitary during flu season. It’s centered downtown so much to see and do close by. Parking is a bit of an issue. Drove around 10 minutes until a spot opened up.

This is the perfect hotel in the ideal place for my annual trip to Bend, but new money grabs and unnecessary charges will stop me from going there again. They charge to park your own car in their parking lot ($12 per day), provide free, terrible Internet that is unusable — forcing you to pay for the Wi-Fi that works —and authorize $30 per day for incidental charges instead of a single flat amount...

You could improve by not charging me to park my car overnight at the place I’m staying! How else would I get there? Seems ridiculous when you could just raise the price by 20 dollars and not look greedy. Will be looking else where now. Don’t shy away from the hotel because it is centrally located and a nice place if you don’t mind paying to park

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and beautiful, and the bed was so comfortable! We will stay there again, and will recommend this hotel to anyone we know that is staying in Bend!

I stayed 8 nights at Motel West during some work related activities that kept me away from my room the majority of the day. All I needed was a good clean comfortable bed, warm room, dependable shower, nominal maid service and a great location during my stay. This fit my needs and was very inexpensive.

The lady at check in and out was nice, the the motel needs a serious upgrade, the TV didn’t work, very outdated carpet and bedding, the guys a few doors down I’m pretty sure lives there and was selling used sneakers out of his room, the area doesn’t seem safe, people hollering all night and banging on a dumpster. Clean, comfortable place to stay. For those who have complained about the decor or fit and finish, let's be clear. It's an older, privately managed hotel, and while it's not the Ritz-Carlton, it is a decent place to stay on a budget. If you're looking for a five star hotel, this isn't it, but if you're looking for an inexpensive, clean, mom and pop hotel, this is just fine.

I will sum it up with one word: Outstanding. Beautiful room and although I was on the top floor and next to a busy artery, it wasn't that noisy. I was comfortable and slept well. I will be staying here again whenever I am in Bend. You won't be disappointed. The Black Bear diner is right next door and my favorite Phô restaurant is a 5 minute walk just across and down the street.

The room was recently remodeled and clean. We thought the beds were going to be too soft but we were wrong. It was walking distance to several restaurants and stores including the LAST Blockerbuster. Would stay again if we are in the area.
