Motel West in Bend

I stayed 8 nights at Motel West during some work related activities that kept me away from my room the majority of the day. All I needed was a good clean comfortable bed, warm room, dependable shower, nominal maid service and a great location during my stay. This fit my needs and was very inexpensive.

Overall, this was a fairly good value for the price. The room was clean, the staff friendly, and the beds were comfortable, which we appreciated.

We chose this motel largely because it was one of the better deals available and because ******* indicated that breakfast was included. Unfortunately, when we went to breakfast on the first morning, we were told that no breakfast was offered and that it never has been. This was frustrating, as the included breakfast was one of the main reasons we booked here, and it meant we had to pay for breakfast for two people over three days unexpectedly.

Another downside was the lack of soundproofing. The walls are quite thin, and guests below us had their TV volume very loud on two separate nights, which made it difficult to sleep.

Overall, a decent option for the price, but the breakfast listing and noise issues were disappointing.

Clean, comfortable place to stay. For those who have complained about the decor or fit and finish, let's be clear. It's an older, privately managed hotel, and while it's not the Ritz-Carlton, it is a decent place to stay on a budget. If you're looking for a five star hotel, this isn't it, but if you're looking for an inexpensive, clean, mom and pop hotel, this is just fine.

Affordable, good value
Affordable hotel conveniently located near downtown Bend. The room was very spacious, comfortable, & had a full size refrigerator. Check-in & check-out were simple. Free parking & free wifi are nice benefits. I would stay here again.

It seemed to be safe and well lit in the area around the motel! Maybe a little dingy and run down in area surrounding the motel!

A charming motel in the heart of Bend. A clean, fresh comfortable room. Really good water pressure in the shower. Nicely decorated, and newer furnishings. The lady in the office was very kind as well. I'll definitely come back again. 5 stars!

Very decent room for the price! Refrigerator kept things cold... Don't find that too often. Nice people that run the motel. Easy parking. Many shops and restaurants nearby. I would stay there again!
