Cozy Cove Beachfront Resort Inn in Lincoln City

We found this place about 4 years ago. We were told they were in the process of renovating so the elevator didn't work. The room had a kitchenette, a electric fireplace, a small balcony and an ocean view. It was great! I stayed there again a couple of years ago and although the elevator was still broken, it was great. Fast forward to this weekend. I decided after a very rough couple of months, to take my husband to Lincoln City and get away for a few days. When we arrived, the room we were given was not what I thought I reserved. There was no kitchenette, a tiny shower, obvious patch jobs on walls and stains on the carpet. After my husband spoke with them and explained that I couldn't use the shower, they moved us to another room. Our new room was identical to the original room from our very first visit. But there were some noticeable changes. The drain plug didn't work completely in the bathtub. We didn't discover it until we ran out of hot water trying to fill the tub. It also didn't drain well enough and we ended having standing water when we showered. There were a few spots where the floor under the carpet where there were dips that we couldn't see. I'm disabled and typically in a wheelchair. Trying to walk is already somewhat unsteady and the floor made it worse. There big stains on the carpet and the bed comforter was ripped in multiple places. The other thing I quickly realized was that there was no sectioned off area around our little back porch area so people were literally walking by, several feet away from our back sliding door. They could see right into our room and see me laying in bed, watching the ocean. And after all these years, the elevator still isn't working so we weren't able to stay on a higher floor to have a little more privacy. The staff is nice but that is about all they have going for them. We won't be going back.

This place is a dump. The windows of our beach front room were so dirty we couldn't see the ocean. We cleaned them ourselves. The kitchenette consisted of a fridge that froze all of our food and a broken microwave. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms but we were told not to use our balcony when the chain smoker below polluted our unit. Our room was completely missed for cleaning. No fresh towels and we made our own bed. The hot tub was not working and no one was ever at the front desk. YUCK. Do not stay here. They destroyed what was our summer vacation.

It is summer. Tourist season so there weren’t any rooms anywhere but we were there for a concert. This was the last place we could find. We didn’t even make it past the lobby. It smelled musty and the lady at the desk was not very hospitable. She said our room wasn’t ready at 2:45 and we couldn’t check in til 4. I asked if there was a restroom we could use as we had driven a ways and she told us no but we could drive up to the sea wall and park and use that restroom. I started to sign the paperwork and she told me they wouldn’t charge my card til we actually checked in. Thank goodness. I told my husband we couldn’t stay there. It was shady and stinky and the woman wasn’t nice. We went next door the the Best western plus. They had one room left and we took it even though we had to pay 90.00 more. At least it was nice

Good value with a great view but the hotel is very run down and falling apart. Would love to see it deep cleaned and perked up
