Great place special attention to provided towel and things for my pet.
It was great for the price. Nice to watch the seals in the bay at high tide. The mini fridge was not clean, but no biggie. We prefer memory foam, but the sheets were nice. Overall, it was enjoyable. Will return.
Beautiful views and for the money it was a great experience. Only bad things were the Faucet wouldnt turn off in the bathroom, furniture was pretty worn and breakfast was pretty bad. Extremely stale cereal and bagels. Bed was comfortable and very nice sheets. Room was clean. Would stay again.
The breakfast was extremely limited. The room was clean, but the broken coffee table could stand to be replaced. The patio door wouldn't lock. Good thing we were on the 4th floor. The staff was friendly. We stayed here years ago, and it definitely has gone down in quality. Not terrible, but definitely a drop off.
WISH it wasn't so expensive!!! Beautiful location, kitchen, view!!! Everything we want!!
We stayed in Room 422 and overall had a mixed but mostly positive experience. Check-in was a big plus. We were able to get in early on a beautiful day at the coast, which immediately started the trip off right. The property was at max capacity, yet it was quiet through the night — something we really appreciated. The Room Room 422 is a larger unit with a small kitchenette and dining table, but it...
We had a room on the second floor facing the ocean. What a view! Check in was easy and quick. Everyone there was so friendly. After checking in you have to drive through a tunnel and park your car across the street. The tunnel makes it safer and quicker! Having an onsite restaurant was handy. The pool is outside but heated! Easy access to the beach with a few logs to crawl over.
First time here. The place is amazing. Had a room on the 1st floor. Was able to walk out our patio door to the beach and the pool. Game room was fun. Small kitchen fully stocked so that was awesome. Had such a great time we stayed an extra night.
My wife and I spent one night in the Inn at Spanish Head during a recent visit to Oregon. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The views of the ocean and the sunset were fantastic. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and both were delicious, and the staff were very nice. Mike and Debbie on the check-in desk were especially friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the room was a little...
Took advantage of the Valentine Special which was very good. The weather was lousily, wind and rain, but it's a great place to storm watch as all room face the ocean. The restaurant was very good both for breakfast and dinner. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cute place! Staff was very attentive and friendly. Wonderful views and easy access to the beach. Would stay here again!
The rooms are nice, view is pretty, service is fine. Parking is problematic. Hope you have a teeny tiny car or else plan to leave last.
What an absolute gem on the Oregon coast. Such a beautiful place to stay. Very modern tools and if you book one with a big whirlpool like I did you won’t be disappointed. Very friendly staff and no kids allowed! I like that policy as this was a very quiet hotel. Super relaxing and will most certainly book again.
The fireplace was great. We are over 60 and it was hard to get out of the bath juccusi tub
Nice quiet location even for new years, our room was recently remodeled and everything in the room worked well
The fireplace was very warm, the hot tub was so relaxing, the view was so nice and tranquil. We always pick this for our stay when we visit Lincoln City. The staff is always wonderful.
Staff was helpful and friendly. Location is supreme!
Staff was friendly and location is great, it's right in the beach. We enjoyed the pool. The room was clean although it smelled strongly of bleach when we first arrived. The beds, unfortunately, were not very comfortable and they had mattre protectors that crinkled loudly anytime we moved.
The room was very cozy and the views were amazing! The tub was slightly outdated but other than that I was extremely happy with the stay! Clean, comfortable and easy beach access!
Amazing view, cute decorations, friendly staff
I was highly disappointed that I had to pay for an upgrade when I had already been led to believe it was an ocean view room in the first place. It ended up being a very expensive room. Well beyond my expectation.
Other than the over pricing, the room was fine.

I had a great stay. The view from my very spacious balcony was amazing!!! The only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is because of it being an older hotel, you can hear through the walls/floors/ceiling. It is very well maintained and staff was super friendly! Will definitely stay again.
First time staying and we will be back. Our room was very clean. Our view was awesome. The beach is a short jaunt down some stairs or you can drive about a block and access the beach by car or park in the little parking lot. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved that the hotel provided a breakfast that was more than just muffins and coffee. There was a full hot breakfast and options of...
I have stayed at this hotel at least 5 times in the last year and I keep coming back! You really can't beat the view, the amenities, and the breakfast for the price! The pool and got tub area is always so clean, and the sauna is gorgeous (and also brand new!). The breakfast is plentiful and actually made in the kitchen on site. The rooms have always been very clean and I enjoy falling asleep to...
We live this place, so far we’ve stayed in like 4 different rooms, 3 had jet tubs, and the 3rd one had double beds without a jetted tub(due to having a young child on this trip) the jetted tub rooms won’t be rented out to people with young children, safety reasons. I appreciate that… it has access to the beach right from the hotel, no walking down the street to find an outlet, which I also appreciate...
We booked our annual New Year’s Eve beach trip to Lincoln City months in advance, but after walking into our original hotel and immediately walking back out, we had to find a last-minute alternative. We had never stayed at Surfland before and honestly did not even plan to, but I booked it on a whim hoping for anything better than what we had just experienced.
From the moment Mel greeted me at the...
One of our new favorite places to stay at the beach! Staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 210 which has a large jacuzzi and very comfortable king bed. Rooms are updated and clean with plenty of ventilation. The shower has good water pressure and even a rain shower option.
We liked that we could set our own room temperature. Enjoyed an open window to the roaring waves and excellent view...
I chose this hotel after reading the reviews. 😁
The view from the window is absolutely stunning, first-rate. Breakfast is on the first floor, with excellent service and a wide variety of options.
This hotel is very close to the beach; just turn right and go down the stairs. It's not in the heart of the hotel crowd.
It's relatively quiet, and you can tell the hotel's decor is quite new.

The room was very nice and clean. The staff were very helpful and nice. Had a very pleasant stay and will stay again in the future.
Staff were great, room was very clean, breakfast had a good assortment of items to choose from.
Convenient location, always clean and available rooms at reasonable rates.
We have stayed here before and will stay here again.
Room was amazing. The standard king room was more like a suite, so much space! Very clean and beautiful decor
Food was overcooked, and slightly cold,
Could be more fruit choices.
Room was clean and cozy, and the staff was nice. And helpful!
The front desk lady was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. It had both ac and heating. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was hot and a good selection both mornings. There is shopping and dining within walking distance. The beach is also in walking distance, but expect a steep up hill walk to get back to the hotel. Overall we had a great stay! We didn't use the pool or hot tub, but...

My ex girlfriend and I stayed at this place six years ago. I promised the manager that I would write a review.... six years ago. I figured better late than never. So here it goes. My ex and I originally got a room that we weren’t happy with. We explained this to the manager and she accommodated us with a new, larger room. We felt that she went above and beyond for us. This place has a great staff...
We were reluctant to stay here after seeing all of the negative reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised when we got here. It has the feel of an old beach cottage. If you like bright shiny objects than this is not the hotel for you. It has charm in all of it's wear. It took me back to my childhood of staying in my grandparents beach cottage on the Chesapeake Bay. The wind & salt air have done a number...
The outdoor hot tub, the pool, when I went there last late Summer, were off the hook! Just being out there, feeling & smelling the sea breeze.. made me experience great nostalgia.. I just enjoyed being there.
Imagine my surprise when i see those negative reviews and wonder.. don't they enjoy the simpler things in life? The abstractness? I guess too many grew conceited and withdrawn..
It was most...
Night receptionist Jeff was excellent. Room was small but exactly what we needed. Great spot on the ocean, very easy access. Everything in room worked fine. Prices were good and good walking distance for stores, restaurants, ans bars. Would stay again.
We ended up here after a botched attempt to enjoy our anniversary, in Portland. I can't stand Portland now!!! So frustrating getting around there..so we said screw this!!! Wanna go to the coast instead?? So we drove staright west, and ended up in Lincoln city!! Lived the Cozy Cove! Reasonable rates...our room was one of the nicer ones I guess..saw other reviews...guess it just depends on how much you...
I loved the price. The location is awesome. Keep in mind a lot of Lincoln City is high above the beach. Cozy Cove is on the same level as the beach.
The staff were friendly.
I wish they would start updating the units. There were obvious gaps around the doors.
