Great location, close to shops and attractions. The room was spacious, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Perfect for couples or families. If you're driving, there's a daily $18 parking fee.

This was one of the best hotels we stayed at during our 14-day trip in the US. It had a very American style, grand and vintage, with a huge fitness area and a garden-like swimming pool. The hotel room was spacious and very comfortable. Check-in was quick and convenient. It was also very fast to get to the airport from here. Overall, it was excellent and exceeded my expectations, even though it was a bit far from Chinese restaurants.

The location is fantastic. While most upscale hotels are clustered in this area, this one is the closest to City Creek Mall, making shopping and dining extremely convenient. It's right across from the LDS Temple and just behind the TRAX light rail station, which made our early morning trip to the airport a breeze. Considering the prime location, the hotel facilities are a bit average.

The staff were incredibly helpful and the beds incredibly comfortable. Location was amazing. Everything was wonderful and I would stay here again!

The location was perfect for our 1 week trip. The TRX is perfect for tourists to get around.. just be careful after 930pm.. unfortunately alot of homeless around the stations. Overall though, the hotel was perfectly located and we had a great mountain view.

I was given a room on the 3rd floor with only a half-height window facing air conditioning units. When I asked to change rooms, I was told none were available.

Hotel itself was clean and very nice. Requested room away from the elevator, we were right next to it. Billed as "dog friendly " it should be "dog allowed for a $75 fee" and that price with no pet area on the grounds. Was not happy about that at all. The pet area was about 2 blocks away.

We had a great stay for my sisters wedding. We had a large party and they accommodated us with joining rooms. The rooms were great and so was the view. Ended up leaving my pillow by accident and when we came to pick it up, the people at the front desk and valet were super helpful and even remembered us. Good location in downtown SLC. You can use your room key to exit the parking area which is super convenient. Place is dog friendly which is nice, our dog was chilling in the lobby plus they even have a mini dog park/bathroom area just outside with free bags for doo doo. A very clean hotel and the location is very good with a beautiful Mountain View! The service person here is nice and especially the cleaner named Dagmar Castro really do a fantastic job to have the room so clean! I would recommend this hotel to all the visitors that will be in Salt Lake City!

I had an amazing lunch at the Sheraton Downtown. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the service truly made the experience memorable. My server, Grace, was absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and made sure I was well taken care of the entire time. She really went above and beyond, and it made my visit feel special. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

It's ok, overpriced and so-so, no free water, just a bed for a night at almost 200 is insane.

We choose this hotel for the short stop before we leave for Yellowstone National Park. The hotel location is near by the Salt Lake City Airport; so we can quickly proceed the hotel check-in after leaving the airport. It is also not far from the downtown. A lot of shops and restaurants are in 5-10 minute driving distance.

Just stayed for a night, but it was a convenient location close to airport, and easy to park and get to room. Quite quiet with a nice little pond outside.

Stayed for three nights and had a good experience. The main reason is its proximity to the airport, and the hotel offers airport shuttle services.

The hotel room was spacious with complete amenities, making it easy to arrange my belongings. Parking was convenient, which is great for those traveling by car. This is a new hotel in downtown SLC with an excellent location. The room are big and bright with comfortable beds. It offers free hot breakfast, but charges for overnight parking. It provides many amenities including a spa and a pool. The staff is friendly and services are acceptable. And the room rate is reasonable. This hotel is better than we expected. Big hotel room and front desk and s very accommodating. The breakfast is very good. And food is refilled very quickly. Staff is very courteous and polite . And a plus point they have self service guest laundry on the fifth floor. I hop in the future they install the soap dispenser inside. So I don’t have to go down to lobby to get the soap.

I was looking for a place while I waited for an overnight connection. This is a great place for that! Great customer service at the front desk. A clean and spacious room with a comfortable bed. And a shuttle from and to the airport. The shuttle starts at 4 am. If you need to get there earlier you’ll need an uber. Will definitely be staying again given the same scenario.

Excellent downtown location near Temple Square, big rooms, good amenities and breakfast. I would recommend getting to and from the hotel via West Temple and South Temple and avoid 400 West--lots of homeless along that road (but not around the hotel).

They said checkin is 3pm. We arrived at 3pm, but front desk said room was still not ready. We waited 30 minutes more for it. My first time to see this in 20 years.

Not the fanciest hotel, and no room service, but the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, it was spotlessly clean and well maintained, and quite up to date. The perfect place if you aren't into pretentious but want good service and a comfortable room.

Very nice hotel! Staff was nice. We enjoyed breakfast. It seemed like the good breakfast was on the weekend as we checked in on Thursday evening and ate breakfast Friday and Saturday and each day had a different breakfast with Saturday including waffles!

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport. After a long flight, it was a relief to check in to a comfortable hotel. The staff were excellent, they were friendly and checking in was a breeze even when I was checking in at almost midnight. Breakfast was wonderful as well. Highly recommended.

Comfortable and basically clean. There was a little mold in the shower. We stayed in the handicapped room 121 though we didn’t request it. There was also a light out on the bathroom mirror. Biggest disappointment was that breakfast was available but, $16.00 per person more. Not sure this would be my first choice in the future.

This is a great airport hotel. We came on a day when the internet was down for the whole area. This limited some of our activities, but the staff was so friendly and flexible that it hardly slowed us down. Rooms are nice. The restaurant was good, too.

There was a large hairball behind our bathroom door. On entering our room it was very cold! Temp was set at 65 and we tried to adjust it but no go. Two hours after being so cold the maintenance workers switched out 3 window units before we had heat. WHY didn't they move us to another, warm room???

This is the second hotel I've stayed at in Salt Lake City, and I found its location to be very convenient. The hotel's service, environment, and cleanliness are all excellent. Their Western-style breakfast is also very good. Overall, I really like Hampton Inn Salt Lake City-Downtown.

Going to focus on their security deposit policy: I don't recall it even existing on previous visits. I expect security deposits, but they require $100 CASH. Add to that, if you attempt to use their ATM, it only accepts debit cards - not credit! The hotel is under renovation, and I can't see the hotel name. The name on booking and the final confirmation are not the same. I asked Ctrip customer service, who was very responsible and helped to confirm. Everything else about the hotel is good. The hotel price includes breakfast.
