Great stay! Convenient and quiet location close to DC by metro or car.

A good one for business travel

Apart from the friendly staff, there is nothing good about the hotel. The room is old and does not feel particularly clean.

It is conveniently located with a comfortable airport shuttle every 30 minutes. Great for sightseeing in DC and Alexandria.

The hotel environment is clean and tidy, with a laundry room, a refrigerator, and its own convenience store, which is very convenient. The bed size is large, recommended to stay.

The room is indeed a bit older, but it still maintains a certain standard. The waiters are excellent and the location is great. The subway is just downstairs.

We got our room online through a third party website. We paid 1/2 of what the room cost. The parking garage was tight, cars were packed in like sardines. Like the Skydome restaurant unfortunately it has been upgraded to very expensive from quite reasonable as I remember it in the past. While it used to be open earlier it only opens for dinner now and the prices are high. Fantastic views on a revolving dome. You are paying for the view and it's a good one. Fabulous views of the Pentagon the Washington Monument, and many other things.

I was in Washington DC as a chaperone with a youth group. The hotel was quiet and clean. The hotel was convenient to many places we wanted to visit. The only complaint is that buses were not allowed on the hotel property so we had to unload around parked cars on the street and then carry our baggage to the hotel.

Pretty nice hotel! Near the airport which my grandson loved seeing the planes. Was hard finding parking in the garage one evening and it was pretty tight. 2 night stay and was only able to get cookies when we checked in....other times they were out.

Hotel room was clean. Place needs to have a continental breakfast after all it is a Marriott. I was very disappointed the room had a coffee maker in there which was fine. The coffee provided was terrible the creamer packets were terrible. Other than that the hotel room was great

A clean, comfortable and very nice place. I like that it is in a good location. The only thing I did not like was that when we got to the hotel wanted to check-in the receptionists did not know how to open our reservation (which we have created it a week before our check-in day) they lasted about half an hour trying to find our room, until they could finally find it.

Great location, walking distance to metro station and Georgetown is just a bridge. Very friendly and helpful staff. The heater in the room didn’t work though I got it checked couple of times. The place is undergoing major renovation too!

Oldest Marriott still operating, and it still looks great! The customer service is excellent and the rooms look like they got a refresh recently.

Recently remodeled and nicely furnished, but it won't be my first choice if I'm ever in the area again... There different are conventions, parties, and tour groups crowding public areas and charging loudly up and down the halls each day. And charging $22 for breakfast would make a lot more sense if it was something different and better than every other hotel's complimentary continental buffet!

The top floor ballroom/area has a great view. The garage is easy parking. My company has had events there for the past few years. The appetizers are always great. The lunch is usually lacklustre, but that not unexpected. Could also be the price point of my company. Clean and spacious. Staff is very attentive.

Definitely shocked with the outdated amenities. Phone in the room did not work. 2/3 elevators work. Wallpaper peeling in bathroom. The views from our window was great!. The rooms are spotless, with nicer furniture. The lobby has an assortment of snacks to buy at reasonable prices. A Starbucks and bar are also availible on the ground floor, and the shuttle operates quickly. Altogether a wonderful hotel!

Came here for a convention. The room had a king bed and the room was good sized. The place was clean and there are a few places where some maintenance would help the room present better. The bed was soft with two devits. The pillows were very very soft with little support. Still I sleeping was not terrible.

The location is very convenient to Reagan Airport. The hotel has a regular shuttle to and from the airport. The room was large and well maintained. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Well appointed clean rooms, friendly staff, comfy beds, big TV with good choice of channels. The toiletries are a bit stingy, the elevators on the slow side. The conference was held in the hotel, so we stayed here. The facilities were newer than the nearby Holiday Inn, but the management was weak. There were cockroaches in the room, and there was also a staff member who swiped the card and entered the room directly when we had not checked out. I was shocked at the time.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room I was pretty and most importantly, clean. I ordered room service which was fast and delicious. I attended a conference in their conference space which was also a nice experience. Coffee and tea was provided and it was very pleasant. Really nice place I stayed at while visiting the Pentagon. It is Top Shelf, just you would expect from a Marriott. Staff was friendly, very clean and well maintained appearance of everything. The free hot breakfast was fresh and had plenty of options for everyone. Very clean and a great breakfast. Four star as we brought a camper and they said they had a place at the Double Tree it could be parked. We got there that night and there was no were to park it. Was told they never said anything like that. Ended up finding a place a block away to park on the street by a meter.

Hotel was decent, standard hotel fare for breakfast, actually pretty good chili for dinner / evening snack. That said, there was a fire alarm, and the staff said it was due to dust in the building. The property was like an over priced Super 8. The Embassy Suites used to mean something back in the day. Now its just minimum everything, right down to not having a TV guild or glasses in the rooms. $320 per night was out of line but I would stay there again for $150-$175, thats all its worth. After such a tough day of getting my flights delayed and then cancelled, it was so refreshing to get a room for the night. The room is very clean and cozy and just what I needed to reset for the next day. The staff was very understanding of my tough day and got me into my room as soon as possible. Waiting for the shuttle at Gate 4 of Terminal 2, it is said that it runs every half an hour. Other things are good, but the air conditioner in the room is too noisy.

The Hotel has a great view and accommodation. The furniture, crockery, washroom accessories are all tidy and updated. Apart from that there's a lot of room for parking here. The only thing that bothers me is the house keeping. The carpets aren't as clean as they're supposed to be. The room carpet smells a bit as it's been wet for too long. We stayed here tow night while visiting DC. I had an end suite room, king size bed with living room and small kitchen. Really nice. It was very clean. We changed from the Marriott to this hotel a few months before our trip. Reason was the better price and larger room size. We weren't disappointed. Room was large and had a full kitchen. Sofa bed could be better and the bed was good. The pool could be entered through the third floor and is outdoor. Nice for the season but no option for a colder day.

It is very professionally ran and a safe place. Arlington Cemetery is right around the corner. We missed the 9:00 PM shuttle by 10 minutes. I was concerned about walking back to the hotel due to safety issues. The desk clerk stayed on the phone and met me at the parking lot. The area is safe but the staff took my concern serious. This is why I like Virginia Suite's Hotel.

We had a great experience with this hotel. Our stay was short due to a layover at the airport. We got in late, but the shuttle still picked us up. The front desk staff were very nice and accommodated us well. This was nice because we had been in airports all day and were very tired. We left early that morning and the shuttle didn’t miss a beat in getting us back to the airport on time. Great job!

This hotel was exceptionally clean. Parking was covered and easy access. We room serviced one night and the food was phenomenal. We really enjoyed our five day stay Memorial Day weekend. Access to the airport was five minutes away. This hotel has to be the best in town. We were at our nieces graduation and we will be back next May for our younger nieces graduation as well.

The room is good value for money and clean overall

The location is good, and the hotel also has a free shuttle to Reagan Airport. The room feels renovated and comfortable. However, the soundproofing is average. You can hear people talking in the corridor in the middle of the night. In addition, the water pipes in the bathroom make a loud noise. In short, it is worth the 900 night price.

The hotel is a bit old but the location is very convenient. The room space is not small. The hotel has airport pick-up at the designated location of the hotel shuttles on the arrival floor, which is easy to find. Although there are shuttle buses every half hour, they are not on time. I arrived nearly 20 minutes late. .

Had a great stay at this Hyatt. Larger rooms than the luxury Hyatt close by. Very clean. Mary, the front desk young lady was so accommodating, pleasant and very friendly. There was an issue with their cc machine and as a courtesy offered to bring food to our little kids directly to the room. Great location, great staff.

Every time I come to D.C. i stay here. I love it! It's just a 10-15 minute ride to the city (D.C.) and it's such a nice, safe area. So many food and shopping options within walking distance. The staff are friendly. Rooms are always nice and clean. Complimentary breakfast is good. And plus there is a restaurant and bar. This will continue to be my go-to whenever I wanna visit D.C.

I can't explain it, but I always get a good vibe from this place. And after spending a week in Las Vegas, I really noticed the difference this time. The front desk folks are very nice and come across as very genuine. I love the variety of the breakfast spread. And I like that many of the rooms have a bed and a couch. So I have somewhere comfortable to sit at the end of the day that isn't the bed.

It's an established (read: older) building but seemed well maintained. The room was large for the price and very comfortable and clean. The staff I met were polite and helpful. The best part about the hotel is that it is close to DC. The rooms are clean and we'll kept. The parking is a bit tricky with bit of constricted spaces. Ok for the money The property is hidden behind another hotel. You have to drive thru that other hotels parking lot to get there. The signs are hard to spot going in the first time. The bathroom had some issues with peeling wallpaper and some dark spots in the tile grout. It was ok for the money paid. It was a 20 min drive to DC attractions.
