Marriott Marquis Washington, DC, Washington1 / 30Offer

Washington, 901 Massachusetts Ave NW (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I stayed at the Marriott Marquis Washington for four nights and found it to be a traditional, full-service hotel offering a fairly standard experience. While the overall stay was comfortable, there were a few aspects worth noting. Service: I requested a blanket and a kettle, and while the items were eventually delivered, it took nearly an hour, which felt a bit slow for a hotel of this caliber. Breakfast...
Overall my stay was good - the hotel is well located, and has many options for food and necessities. The room was ok - bed linens were worn, the usb outlet by the desk didn’t work, but overall everything was clean and pleasant. I found the shower water handle a nice touch - you can start the shower and control water temperature on the side, without getting in. I had an unpleasant experience at the...
The facilities are old, the hygiene is good, and the service is also good
It is a good location to access the convention center and the Metro station.
The hotel in downtown Washington is very convenient. There is an Apple store next to it. You can walk or take a taxi to the White House Obelisk in the United States. There is a bar on the first floor of the hotel. There is a free laundry room. The gym is also good after trying it. It has two floors.
Breakfast took a time to wait! The Beer lab waiters and waitresses were very rude

It is a Hilton, but not as nice as others you may have experienced because it is seriously dated. For starters, just let me say we had a fine time, but we had to acclimate to the reality of the claim that the hotel was conveniently right between two metro stops - it really isn't. You can walk to the Dupont Circle with little to no trouble, but walking back is up hill all the way which could cause...
As a Hilton Honors member I trust the Hilton Quality standards worldwide and never had so far a disappointing experience until now. The Washington Hilton is well located and the overall facility is nice. But the level of cleanness on the floors is below average, and for the very first time I see the housekeeping just putting fresh towels in the room and a plastic bag with coffee supplies, without doing...
The room was so clean and good..Im pretty sure we will book here again in our next visit in washington..
I had a very pleasant stay at the Hilton Washington. The bed is very comfortable with high-quality bedding, which made for a great night’s sleep. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The gym is spacious and well equipped; although some of the equipment is a bit outdated, it still works well and gets the job done. Overall, a very nice hotel and I would definitely stay here again.
Very nice and elegant hotel with full facilities inside, including a restaruant, a bar, a coffee shop/grocery, and even gift shop. Would come to stay here again if come back to Washington.
I love the place. It’s convenient and easy access to tourist spots in the town.

Beautiful venue. Great for the conference I was attending. Screens could be seen at the back of the room. Staff was very attentive. However, the hotel room was very cold even when the thermostat was reading 78. Great for sleeping, but not for sitting. Also, the valet took over 20 minutes to get my car when I was leaving. They seemed to be understaffed there while overstaffed or appropriately...
I was there during the day to attend a convention. The hotel us lovely and welcoming. There were rooms for panel discussions. The checking in was very easy and easy to find our room where the panel discussion would take place. At lunch time I ate at the restaurant in the hotel. The food was excellent and the service wonderful. Because I was part of the convention, they gave...
The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. The conference rooms were mostly fine, but sometimes cold and the pillars created line of site issues for screens and speakers. The room refreshes were thorough. Finding the conference rooms was sometimes confusing. Overall, the hotel was a great location with lots of food options nearby and a quick walk to the zoo. Great location!
Gorgeous gardens!!! Always love this hotel. Its the second convention I have done and stayed in for. The breakfast is amazing, just the best I have ever had at a hotel. Its on the concierge level. There is a sauna, which is great, but one of the highest perks is the vintage decor throughout many wings of the place and the overall fantastic job at decorating and apportioning rooms. Plus...most important...
Stay one night at the hotel and it was not too bad. So lets start with the check in. I arrived about 2 hours early before the given time for check in and was able to get to my room early. The room was a nice size and up to standard of clean. I was worried due to others review comments but I can say that I notice no weird stains or no bed bugs. The only downfall with the room was that out of 5 power...
The location is great and easily accessible. The lobby is very nice and large with a nice bar area. The rooms in the central tower are fine - a bit dated and old. Glad to have a mini fridge though, and overall very quiet. Nice new TV in the room.

Hotel's location is good, near metro station, shopping center, Chinatown. Breakfast is just okay.
The hotel's location is great; it was very convenient for my nearby conference, and it's not far from the memorial parks. The area between the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial is perfect for a run. Washington D.C. feels quite safe, so I didn't worry about getting around.
My husband and I take a trip together every year, and this year it was near New York. The hotel's location was excellent, not far from any of the attractions. We rented bikes for a day, which made getting around much easier and saved our legs!
The room was spacious and the location was good, so I was quite satisfied. The only thing is the high taxes, which need to be paid separately upon arrival.
Convenient location and very new room facilities.
The room was clean and tidy, and the location was excellent.

A fantastic hotel, great location and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly
Very thoughtful service, clean room
Good location, good environment, good hygiene
Total crap! I didn't like the hotel. Queues at the reception. Bad soundproofing. Be careful, the hotel charges an extra $30 upon check-out for free wifi and other nonsense. There was no hot water in my room at this "luxury" hotel, and they charge $30 for additional services.
The environment is very good, the bed is big, but there are compulsory consumption
Big room with reasonable price. The check-in and check-out procedure were all smooth.

Great room. Clean hotel. Such nice staff. Only thing we didn’t like was the $20 you had to spend on the property every day.
It was far more difficult getting a final invoice from the hotel than it should have been, the complication being between on-site and pre-paid charges that should have been sorted out immediately rather than take days of follow-up.
Great stay. Definitely worth it. Great location. I received a $20 credit for the restaurant and bar
My son and I had an exceptional stay at The Westin Downtown DC. The hotel is immaculate, beautifully maintained, and delivers a truly elevated experience from start to finish. Every detail reflects quality, comfort, and professionalism. During our stay, we had a small matter that needed to be addressed, and Brett Haduch, the manager, went above and beyond to resolve it. Overall a great stay. Everything you come to expect from Marriott. Great beds, excellent service and perks. Unbeatable location. The only negative is the always dirty and severely stained front entrance and carpet. Being that it’s your first impression when you walk in, it definitely takes away from the experience.
Comfort, luxury, and calm all wrapped into one. The service was impeccable. Room was serene, and thoughtfully designed! Exactly what you’d want after a full day in the city. The energy of the hotel itself felt special and undeniably DC. I walked in expecting a great stay… and they delivered seamlessly.
Exceptional Hotel Experience – A Must-Stay in DC! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My stay at the JW Marriott Washington, DC was truly exceptional! From the moment I arrived, the service provided by the entire team—including the reception, the concierge/doormen, and the housekeeping staff—was outstanding. It is absolutely worth it to become an Elite Member; the perks and recognition elevate the entire experience....
I’m surprised that this hotel is rated as well as it is. The conference I attended was well organized and the staff dedicated to that experience were great. The stay itself? Yikes. No hair dryer to be found, no fan in the bathroom, the walls are paper thin, my digital key took 5-6 swipes each time I wanted to enter my room (validated this with 3 different keys), the wifi is slower than molasses (and...
Interior facing room is noisy with a hum, but outside facing rooms was great. Valet parking extremely expensive - would recommend trying to park elsewhere

Great location and facilities, would choose again next time.
Room was good, staff were pleasant, but the hotel has an air of not being in great shape - as if they were simply going through the motions. The service at the restaurant was terribly slow and disorganized.
Not happy with the check out, they charged me the full price for 2 rooms which I already paid for. it took time for them to correct the mistake and made me wait
Elegant, classy, warm and welcoming. i was warmly greeted and the concierge introduced himself by name, and said if I needed anything, he was there for me.
This stay was a complicated experience. The hotel is popular, but the service response is really not up to par. There is a long queue for check-in and check-out. The room request cannot be processed in time, which makes people anxious. The lighting design of the room is unreasonable. There are only floor lamps and table lamps, which are dim at night. And there is no drinking water, which is too inconvenient...
My wife and I recently visited DC for the first time to celebrate our anniversary, and Logan went above and beyond to make it special. The hotel and staff were top-notch, and we loved the rich history surrounding the place. Rooms could use a little updating, but they were clean and full of character. A good one for business travel

Spacious room, good breakfast, Easy check-in and check-out
Just a heads-up: there are other hotels downtown with similar names, so make sure to double-check the address before heading over. The room was spacious, which was great for a family of four. The location is not far from the Gallery Pl-Chinatown metro station. The rooms are very spacious for Washington. Compared to the Fairfield Inn, which is also part of the Marriott chain and located close to the same station, this one is cheaper and the rooms are larger. Overall experience in Hilton Capital was Perfect. A little inconvenience was we are travelling with the 1yo and that no kettle and the drinking water bottle is only collectible from Front Desk.

Great hotel. Fabulous location. Staff were so friendly, especially Jef on the front desk - amazing guy! Definitely would recommend
The room size is just right, the facilities and amenities are of high quality, and the location is excellent. The lobby features a large coffee bar, a coffee and pastry shop, and a convenience/souvenir store.

Room was clean and the bed was super comfy. The restaurant downstairs had good food and atmosphere. Gym was decent with some newer machines and some weights. In a good part of DC.
Staff was v friendly, and the location was excellent but unfortunately there was a very bad smell like sewage in our room during our stay which was not ideal.
The room was very nice. The lobby bar and restaurant were also very nice.
The check in was quick and easy! Front desk personnel charming, quick and attentive. The rooms were well presented and maintained throughout the visit. The location is great, you can walk to nearby museums, restaurants and or shopping! Sorry, I didn’t take any photos or videos, I was too busy having fun.
The hotel itself is great – the rooms were clean, the location convenient, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We felt welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. The hotel was very clean and conveniently located close to the convention center. The downstairs restaurant served an excellent breakfast, and the hotel's location was superb for getting around. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip.
The hotel was pretty good, except for the first night when they didn't have a room available. Also, after the first day when I received two bottles of water, I didn't get any more for the remaining three days and had to buy my own. I actually made those two bottles last for four nights – I guess I don't drink much water!
Stayed here for my trip to Washington. It's pretty close to Chinatown. The hotel environment is great, and it offers good value for money. The room was cleaned daily. It's about a fifteen-minute walk to the main attractions.
Pretty new hotel. Good service clean room. Location is pretty good as well. Parking is expensive
Spacious and ideally located near Chinatown, all for a great price!
They didn’t clear out the trash when I first check in. I enjoyed using their gym. Location is good, but there’s still a little of walk. I guess the location is a little bit awkward to get to like Logan Square or the other square. Generally, it was a good experience.

The room was clean, and the location was superb – right by the Aerospace Museum and very convenient for the airport. It was also incredibly easy to find. Highly satisfied.
The hotel is dated with some renovation needed. The room was decent and for location convenient reason is the only reason that I stay in it.
This is a pretty good hotel. It's extremely close to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, just a few minutes' walk away. The only downside is that dining options in the immediate vicinity are very limited, with just a Starbucks (which is fine for breakfast) and a McDonald's right next door.

The Fairmont is clustered with other nice hotels in DC’s “West End” neighborhood. The rooms are nicely appointed. The food is good and there are also great dining options nearby. My husband and I enjoyed a 2 night stay recently. The staff were friendly and the inside lobby was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Our room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. We had a nice stay but our expectations were a bit higher based on other Fairmont properties we have stay at. We expected a fabulous Christmas decor experience like the Seattle location but here was subpar. The rooms feel dated and overall I think the hotel could use a bit more glamour for the price you pay.
This hotel is beautiful. It has everything you need for a perfect stay. The service, the location and all the accommodations are top notch. Only one downside, my room was very cold and I could not increase the temperature on the self controlled thermostat.
Wonderful stay at this amazing hotel! The service is top notch, the lobby is spacious and light filled and has the most comfortable chairs and sofas. The room was spotlessly clean, quiet, and roomy. Most incredibly comfortable bed. Gym is massive and has everything you could possibly want. The price was very reasonable for the considerable value we received. Location is excellent too!

This hotel had a lot of nice details, decent rooms and great service except for a few issues. 1. There was a roach next to the mini-fridge. 2. The food was dry and was not seasoned well 3. The view was bad. All we saw was the tops of buildings. 4. The hotel wasn’t very kid-friendly. It was trying to hard to be fancy, authentic or old-fashioned. 5. Some spots in our room didn’t look all that clean
This is a beautiful hotel, centrally located. You may use their valet parking for overnight, but i thought it was a bit expensive (almost $60 per night), so i found a parking garage for $35 for 24 hrs, 3 blocks away. Poor experience.  Our reservation was cancelled according to concierge upon our arrival, took two hours for baggage to arrive to the room. Food was so delayed at restaurant, as a nursing mother I needed a refrigerator and it took 1.5 days to receive one. Very disappointing experience.
I recently stayed at the Salamander DC for a quick one-night getaway. While the stay was perfectly pleasant, it didn't quite hit the 'luxury status' I expected from the marketing. This hotel was awful. It charges a $35 per night “amenity” fee, hijacked via your incidentals deposit upon checking in. So called “amenities” do not include coffee in the room (it’s $6/cup in the lobby) or even bottled water. Pool was closed, gym was mid at best. Best advice: steer clear.
Coffee was not served until 7:30 AM, which as a hotel next to one of the main travel hubs in a downtown location where people are going to work is a little crazy. There was also nowhere to get coffee/breakfast near by other than the hotel. Front desk also sent us to the wrong room at first which caused us to go back downstairs. They are minor inconveniences, but added to the annoyance of our trip.

The hotel is great, after all, it's the Ritz! The location is also very convenient, with a subway station right outside, shopping malls, restaurants, and bars next door, and taxis are easy to get around. It's very close to Reagan Airport, and a little further from Dulles Airport, but not too far either; a taxi ride would cost a few tens of dollars…
The rooms are spacious and clean. The lobby entrance is a bit small. Transportation is extremely convenient; the Pentagon City subway station is right outside the lobby, and it's only four stops to Washington, D.C. The Pentagon shopping district is nearby.

Our first trip here and we were not disappointed! The staff were absolutely lovely! Room was good size, beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked very well. The Conrad is an absolutely exceptional experience. Every staff member we met was friendly. Aileen at the front desk was so kind and welcoming that I couldn’t help but write a review. Also, the property is clean, organized, and modern. The housekeeping staff is doing a great job.
