What a charming old spook house! Walking the hallways felt like I was staying at the Overlook, and around every corner I expected to find Jack Nicholson violently flinging pillow mints, or Pyramid Head pushing a room service cart. The staff was very accommodating, ignoring my visitor after she learned to act white and confident and just go up without asking (she wasn't an overnight visitor, there was no reason to hassle her). The front desk helped me out with restaurant recommendations, discount tickets, and printing, and were all around charming hosts.

The rooms themselves are shabby and dated, but in a endearing way. There's no AC so I'm not sure I'd recommend The Moore during the summer, but it was perfectly comfortable for a week long stay in early March. The coffee shop next door drew a seal in my latte!

There's a Catholic church next door with a homeless population but that just adds to the Seattle experience.

Pretty clean and comfortable for the price. And great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful

After attempting a love affair with the most beautiful woman I have ever met, we are accused of being hookers and kicked out for having someone come in to deliver something. They were in & out after 5 minutes. Also, one of the employees walked in on us naked together without knocking. This place is terrible. It is entirely imhumane to kick a couple vacationing out over something as petty as a 5 minute visitor. Especially considering we complied with the rules immediately & it was a one time occurrence.

I've stayed here several times, both in a suite and a regular rooms, and each time has been great. I love the historic, no-frills atmosphere while still being in a gorgeous and well taken care of location. The staff is great, the old-school room keys are awesome, and the added bonus of having a coffee shop, restaurant, concert venue, and bar attached are a perfect addition. The rates aren't bad at all considering the area. Sidenote: there isn't usually a fridge in the room so be aware of that. (However that's never been an issue for me.)

The location is perfect if you plan to visit pikes place. The hotel is simple and quirky, and stays true to its original early 1900s charm. It still uses radiators and lock and key. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but they don't have a fridge or air-conditioning. For the price there isn't a better hotel in Seattle.

This is a bare-bones experience hotel with an excellent location. If you’re looking for a place to sleep and shower in the heart of downtown for a reasonable price, this place could be perfect for you.

Pros:
- Comfortable beds
- Rooms with in-unit or shared bathrooms, can help lower the price for some folks
- Free WiFi
- Price is lower than most hotels downtown
- Location is excellent, a block or two from basically everything, including food, transport and the Market
- Staff were very courteous and helpful

Cons:
- WiFi is very slow; local coffee shops are a better bet
- Bathrooms are a little cramped
- The TVs are small (though not dated)
- Historic building, so while it has character there are parts that could use updating or renovation
- Wish there had been water bottles in-room (the tap water was not pleasant)
- No A/C, which could be an issue in the summertime (not a problem in fall / winter)

All this said, we did have a pleasant stay.

A great historic hotel in a central location in downtown Seattle. The service is great, the rooms are clean, and I love the vibe here

My Wife and I had been to several shows at the Moore Theater but this time decided to stay at the Moore Hotel and we are very glad we did. The Theater for shows is always great, never disappointed with the sound or atmosphere, the Hotel was perfect and vintage with character galore. The Staff are really down to earth and friendly. The Coffee Shop was very good! The Restaurant and Bar has everything you need to get ready for a show or just to relax, great craft beers on tap, excellent Cocktails and the food was perfect (Barbacoa Beef Tacos!) the atmosphere is very laid back and the staff attentive. I will not go to another show at the Moore without booking a room at the Moore Hotel for the future, you really do not have to do anything else as it is all right there! Well done all...

It was a very good experience. The rooms were affordable and neat. Staff was very considerate and helpful ( his name is Bob, super nice guy). It's also located in downtown and is very close to pikes place! Overall, it was a good experience.

Clean rooms and very comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Just a few things missing, ie alarm clock, facial tissue, hair dryers, also no screens on the large windows. Perfect place otherwise and so close to all the tourist attractions. They even have 2 chairs, recently stayed at a high price hotel with only 1 chair!!! I would rate the Moore 4.5 stars if that was an option.
