We stayed in Jipek Joli Inn for one night. This hotel was converted from two separate villas, connected by a semi-open courtyard. The room is slightly old-fashioned but clean and comfortable enough for a pleasant stay. The reception staff speak fluent English and efficiently helped us arrange transportation to Mizdakhan and Gyaur Kala. The price was reasonable, and the driver was very accommodating...

Comfortable inn with great staff. They took care of us in every way. Large clean room with a sitting area. Breakfast offered lots of options. Omelets and fried eggs were made upon request. Good location. Walking distance to restaurants and the museum. The inn is a little dated.

This is the best hotel I’ve stayed in during my two week trip to Uzbekistan. I wish I had reason to stay longer in this hotel. I recommended the hotel to others. Very nice, very clean hotel. Friendly staff, rooms are large and beds definitely comfortable. Breakfast is also pretty complete with a buffet where you’ll find something for everyone. One of the best remembrances in terms of overnight stays we had in Uzbekistan. It’s only 300m away from the museum and also a very good Turkish restaurant that’s literally around the corner.

Very clean and well kept. Beds a little hard for western tastes. That said, breakfast was good. Rooms have radiator heat and air conditioning. Plenty of hot water. No elevator, but staff eager to help with baggage. Good location, close to Bazar and art museum. Staff had good English. The hotel is located in the absolute center of the city, next to the major attraction of Nukus - Savitsky Art Museum.

Excellent service, huge rooms with an ante room too. Only minor things: the door electronic keys could open any room. One person opened door of my daughter’s room. Luckily he left before she responded. Big safety issue. There was no pepper available for breakfast!

A very large spacious room, with working air-con and very friendly people. They happily arranged a daytrip for us to Muynak and Mizdarkhan with little notice and a good price. Nowhere near as touristy as Khiva, the Karakalpak people were shy, much much more authentic and genuinely happy to meet tourists from far away lands (like Canada). The man at the reception was really nice and overall the staff was helpful. The breakfast is also worth it, I wouldn’t skip it if I wear you, the middle porridge is my favorite really amazing stay.

Everything worked well. The bed was comfortable. Our room had both a comfortable sofa, a chair and a table - a very nice touch. There was lots of storage. It would have been nice if there were a mirror in the room. The breakfast was adequate, omelets were made to order and the staff was helpful. However, the bathroom could use a bit of an overhaul. Jipek Joli Hotel was a great experience for me. Excellent pre-stay communication. My room 204 was huge, super clean, fresh, smelled lovely and the linen/bed was great. Fridge, kettle, water, tbags, cups,etc supplied. Breakfast was generous and delicious- the youghurt and fruit and a coffee machine value added for me. What a fabulous hotel. Great location to access the museum and restaurants close by. All staff very friendly. Great Wi-Fi. Breakfast was included and was of a good standard. Would recommend and stay again. We used their travel services to book our Aral Sea tour which was excellent too.

As said before, a friendly, helpful, relaxed, family run hotel. The staff spoke good English. Really close to the museum (which we didn't really appreciate and the staff seemed very disinterested). We enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the bazaar more. We had a large room on the first floor (no lift) but our luggage was carried for us. Wifi was good. TV had BBC news. Breakfast could have been a bit better...

I was very surprised when I visited this wonderful hotel for the second time not far from the local Nukus Airport. They have changed for the better. One of a few hotels in the city, not far from the center, owned by a local family, the rooms are clean and airy, service worth money. Additionally, the owner was very generous to propose a ride to the Aral sea that turned out to be a wonderful experience. Recommend!

Good hotel/hostel for around ten dollars per person located in a convenient part of the city

Clean and big rooms - we stayed our first night in Uzbekistan here after crossing from Kazakhstan. The owner was super helpful with providing y’a info on costs for shared taxis to Muynak and Khiva and even ended up arranging these for us. Would recommend this place for travellers passing through Kungrad.

Comfortable, clean hotel at an affordable price. Everyone here is friendly and helpful. They arranged a shared taxi for us to Moynaq, it picked us up in the morning at the hotel entrance. The owner speaks some English and we made our reservation by texting him. I would stay here again.

Amazing place! The hotel is super clean and comfortable and the owner is just so helpful! There were issues with free rooms in Kungrad when we arrived and we didn't have anything booked but the owner made sure we have a place for the night! So hospitable! If you want to stop in Kungrad, this is definitely the place to be!
