Danexan Apa Hostel in Nukus

I had an amazing stay here! The staff are incredible and Atabek took us on a really great tour of the city. The rooms are very nice and set up well and there is an attached restaurant with great breakfast and traditional dishes. They even organized our onward transport to Khiva. Highly recommend this hostel!!

I stayed for two nights, and the hostel itself was quite decent – ​​the room was clean, the breakfast was okay. I also went on an organized tour to Muynak from the hostel. I was originally planning to go there myself, but the weather was so bad that I didn't risk it. In addition to the former shore of the Aral Sea and the ship graveyard, we also visited a typical old cemetery and a camel farm (although almost all the camels had gone for a walk, we did try some salted milk). We didn't get to see the Aral Sea Museum because the wind damaged a power line, and there was no power. I'd especially like to commend the conscientiousness of our guide and hostel employee, Atabek, who then took us to another museum – an ecology museum – but there was no power there either. And although none of this was his fault, of course, as compensation, he took us to one of the Khorezm fortresses (Gyaur Kala Khodjeyli) located near an ancient cemetery, which was also very interesting to explore.
Overall, I was very pleased with both my stay at the hostel and the tour.

Very nice Hostel, very friendly employers, always smiling. Especially we had good experience with Sevinch, she did the registration for us and took us also to a city tour. We went through the baca r and she helped us getting things. She also let us try some typical food. Rooms are very clean and comfortable beds. We stayed in the big dorm, there are plugs for charging everywhere. Common bathroom is very clean.

Excellent place to stay in Nukus. Just go here without a second thought.

1. The staff are all super friendly and eager to help. They are mostly students from the local university and they speak good English. Hands down they are the best people to guide you.

2.The hostel itself is top class, with hot bath and even a massage chair thrown in. It was the only place in my entire Uzbekistan trip which had a health faucet and that was life changing.

3. They have very economical and thoughtfully made tour packages (with their own guides - aforementioned University students), and they are willing to plan your trip even if you're not taking their packages.

Possibly the best hostel in all of Uzbekistan. 10/10 will breathe new life into your trip.

Had a lovely and comfortable stay at Hostel Danexan.

Stayed in the female dorm. Which was very clean and comfortable beds, close to the communal bathroom which had hot water! Breakfast was delicious too. We also got hot water to make tea when we requested.

What made our stay was how hospitable, kind and attentive the staff are.
The biggest shout out to Abdulla who went over and beyond.
He organised our trip to the Aral sea which was very reasonably priced. He was always very responsive when we messaged him and he resolved an issue we had with card payment- thank you!

Fantastic stay at Danexan APA in Nukus!

What a wonderful place! The staff are incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful — true examples of Uzbek hospitality. The owner, Abdulla, is honestly the nicest, kindest, and sweetest person in the whole country. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

He told us about a local festival (which we sadly missed) and even offered to help us arrange a taxi to get there. We also booked a tour to the disappearing Aral Sea and the Ship Cemetery through them — it turned out to be the highlight of our trip to Uzbekistan!

The guesthouse itself is cozy, clean, and well-run. The Wi-Fi works well, the shower is hot, and the breakfast is delicious — they even packed us breakfast to go for our early morning tour.

I highly recommend everyone visiting Nukus to stay here and meet Abdulla. You’ll feel like part of the family. Truly an amazing place!

Clean and comfy room for 3 with shared bathroom at a very afforable price. Cosy, good beds, kind staff (5 stars to Jasmine, she is the best 💛). Would repeat and recommend.

Really nice place.Tasty food,clean rooms,receptionists are very good with the people in hostel they are always ready to help.Location is calm.I travel alone,but i think its perfect also for people with children or couples.Its best place I've ever been.
