Petro House Hotel in Vung Tau

Super hotel, great location on the front beach, great location to stay when in Vung Tau in my opinion. Staff are friendly, efficient and speak English. The Housekeeping department are supreme, nothing is a problem for Hue the manageress and her staff. Good breakfast. Super pool on the 3 rd floor which some days you will have to yourself. Great pool staff, receptionists, everybody really. Close to many good restaurants, you've got to try the Banh Khot native to Vung Tau only, delicious. You can walk 5 minutes to the front sandy beach and swim it's very safe and the water is warm and the people are friendly. Try to learn a few Vietnamese greeting sentences, the Vietnamese really appreciate this. All in all I highly recommend the Petrol House Hotel in Vung Tau. It's also very peaceful and relaxing. Great location. Rooms very big with great view. Lukewarm water in shower. Bed old and lumpy. Breakfast a poor experience. Unfriendly staff. They do not even acknowledge you. Stale bread and cakes. Unhygienic the way cheese left out for people to touch and cut. It should be cut by staff using plastic gloves. Weak WiFi in bedroom. Not a 4 star hotel.

Great hotel with spacious rooms. Surprisingly, it was incredibly clean by Vietnamese standards (by European standards, it was just clean and tidy, as it should be). The staff speaks English. Excellent breakfasts, they even had delicious cheese. Overall, we really enjoyed everything. Thank you ❤️

I highly recommend Petro House, A block, great position, walking distance to the beach, shops & restaurants. We stayed a week, the staff from housekeeping, hospitality and reception couldn’t do enough for us! They were friendly, helpful and respectful. Their customer service was outstanding! Thank you so much for looking after us. We would definitely stay again.

Buffet breakfast with huge options, the restaurant manager is super helpful (Mr.Huy) and friendly.
My family had a long stay here last year and back again this year, we have stayed here about 1,5 month and probaly will stay till the end of our trip. Great location also, few minute walk to front beach and 3 parks near by, many convenience store Circle K …, pharmacy near by

Nice location, not to far from the beach. Tons of food and coffee options near by. The staff is top notch. The restaurant breakfast buffet is really good a lots of options and tasty food. The restaurant manager and the head chef are the best. Always smiling and always asking what can they do for you.

Corporate hotel, I really liked everything.
The room is spacious, has a large bathroom, tea and coffee, robes, everything you need.
The breakfast buffet is varied and caters to every taste.

On the downside, there was a strange smell in the room, and you could hear rats running along the ceiling or in the ventilation system.

The hotel is run by a very well-managed team. They are polite and respond promptly to guests’ needs, with several agents readily available throughout Blocks A and B. I felt safe and secure during my three-night stay at Block B. Block A is more modern and newer, and of course costs more.

I checked in to a standard twin room and shortly discovered a plumbing issue with the sink. The staff quickly apologized and moved me to a new room on the second floor. The room was clean, with comfortable beds, fresh bed linens and towels, a clean bathroom, good water pressure, and effective air conditioning. However, traffic noise could be disturbing due to the hotel’s location, and the sink drainage was slow.

The hotel has swimming pools and a gym. The included breakfast was excellent; the menu changes daily and offers a wide variety of choices. The location of the hotel is also excellent, just one block from Front Beach and the travel bus office.

I booked through Google Travel, and for the price I paid, Petro House Vung Tau deserved my solid four-star hotel rating. I would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Value for money accommodation. I would like the WiFi in the room to be better. Breakfast was good and would recommend.
