This is a lovely little hotel. I spent 3 nights here this week and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was excellent with a large bed and a fantastic shower. The location was perfect as Walking Street is nearby. The staff were friendly and hardworking. You should consider a stay here if you want to stay in Ninh Binh.

Walkable to the old town and walking street. Property has 2 side, one is new and is old. Be carefully when booking.

The room is spacious, bright and clean! It also has a balcony! The boss and his wife are very welcoming! The boss and his wife both speak Chinese, so communication is very convenient!

Good location & staff, everything else ok
Pros: superb location right across the lively Walking Street, balcony w/ decent view at surround buildings and pagoda, friendly staff, lots of closet/drawer space, A/C, snack menu, complimentary coffee and tea, warm/hot shower

Cons: very stiff mattress, bathroom not fully cleaned from previous guests, dust, fridge not cold even though turned on, thin duvet w/ no duvet cover, kettle does not stop at boiling point and gets very hot, water from faucet has no temperature control and can get very hot, missing a mirror in main room area

I chose this hotel to see Chang'an and a series of places of interest.
The room is large
The balcony has a nice view
The boss can speak Chinese and English
As someone who doesn’t speak Vietnamese
It’s rare to feel friendly in a foreign country
When I finally returned to Hanoi
Because the bus I called was late
The boss is also very helpful and helpful in contacting me.
He said that if it didn't work, he could help us call another one.

The property itself is beautiful, homey and very clean. The rooms are large and clean. The facility is owned and run by a family who reside in the first floor/ lobby area. It is located in a residential area and is very quiet around. They had scooter rentals to get around.

Very friendly staff. He helped us with everything we need, even when he saw that we had forgotten a raincoat showed up at the train station to deliver it to us. We'd come back without hesitation.
