Great location! The air vents smell of cigarettes. You can also smell it in the hallway. The breakfast wasn't very good; I ordered scrambled eggs, but they were half-raw :( Checkout is at 12:00, and at 11:45, reception started calling insistently reminding me that checkout is coming soon. It's quite distracting and annoying, especially when you're packing up.

This is our third visit to Vietnam but first time to Tam Coc/Ninh Binh. We absolutely loved our stay at Tam Coc Garden Resort. Really fantastic hostel away from the madness of central Cam Tot but also not too far away to be inconvenient. Gorgeous homestay hosted by the loveliest family. Really good breakfast included (passion fruit jam was amazing!). Bicycles to rent so getting into the centre of Tam Coc was so easy. The room's decor and fixtures are quite old-fashioned, though a bit dated. The room itself is clean and spacious, with a large bathroom. The soundproofing is average; even on the 8th or 9th floor, you can still hear the cars driving downstairs. Overall, it's okay.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. Really go out of their way to be helpful. They called our bus driver to double check where we would be dropped off so that they could give us the best directions, offered to organise our taxi and this was all before we'd even checked in!

It's in a bit of an odd location, a long way from the city center, and you'll have to take a taxi. The breakfast is decent, with limited choices and a dull room. The staff isn't very helpful. If you're looking for something in the Ninh Binh area, I think there are better options.

This is a lovely little hotel. I spent 3 nights here this week and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was excellent with a large bed and a fantastic shower. The location was perfect as Walking Street is nearby. The staff were friendly and hardworking. You should consider a stay here if you want to stay in Ninh Binh.

Best hotel I’ve stayed at in Vietnam despite also being the most affordable. The hotel itself is lovely and well-situated in a quiet but convenient spot in Ninh Binh town. The staff are incredibly kind and generous: the concierge took time out of his day to drive me somewhere quiet for a scooter-riding lesson and handled getting me on a sleeper train to Da Nang. Cannot recommend Thuy Anh highly enough

A Great Option in Ninh Binh The Vancouver is a good option for people staying in Ninh Binh. It's reasonably close to all the tourist attractions and has a large selection of nearby food options. The family who run the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel is clean and safe.

Convenient location on 20min walking distance from train station. Minh and his wife were very supportive in coordinating all activities and did go out of their way to extend excellent service .

Stayed one night and couldn’t ask for much from this hotel. Rooms were good size and clean. the location was close enough to Bai Dinh to make taking a grab quick and easy. The only downside for us was there were no convince stores near by.

This hotel is located much away from the main city in a suburb with limited connectivity. Although the rooms are ok, the complimentary breakfast had limited options and service was lukewarm like the coffee they serve. The distance from the city centre which is the happening place is a dampener.

This was a great stay as a rest stop. Don't expect much on the surroundings because there's really not much amenities or marts around. The rooms were huge and the bed super soft, with a large bathroom. Breakfast was acceptable with vegetables, egg, and fruits, and beef pho could be ordered too (average quality). Had a great sleep before catching our next train to Ha Long.

It was only opened for 2 months when I stayed there for 3 nights, it was spacious and breakfast was great. The staff were super friendly and the location is great! They provided us with bikes as we had gotten there late but still wanted to explore - bike riding in Ninh binh is a MUST!! -

The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The staff were very helpful and book things for us as required. The breakfast was good and you could order from the menu. The city mountain view rooms were much larger and had more natural light, so get one of those if you can. One more thing, it's easy to go to the city and these tourist area by motorbike from hotel.
