Altera Suites in Da Nang was an excellent stay. The staff and security were extremely kind, professional, and always helpful, making us feel welcome and safe throughout our visit. The suites are truly luxurious and very comfortable.
We stayed in a two-bedroom suite with stunning views — the ocean on one side and the city on the other, which was absolutely beautiful both day and night. The suite was spacious and well-equipped, with a full kitchen and three TVs, making it perfect for a relaxing and convenient stay.
Highly recommend Altera Suites for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and amazing views in Da Nang.

We would like to thank Mr. Harry and Ms. Huong for the wonderful reception and warm hospitality. We truly appreciated the early check-in, which made our stay even more comfortable and convenient.
The hotel’s location is good while not the absolute best, it is still close to many key places and easy to get around.

We had 8D7N stay in Altara Suites. Overall, we r very pleased with the service all staffs provided. They r attentive & friendly, always smiling. Love the room as there r washer/dryer, kitchen, iron & ironing board, hair dryer tat isn’t small too small to use. The only con for us, the mattress is too soft n been causing me backache, always ended up sleeping in the sofa in the middle of the nite. The view fm breakfast place is beautiful , make more soothing with great choice of music playing. I will definitely make Tis my choice of hotel should I be back if the mattress is firm enough for my back. Overall, it still worth 5 stars rating.

Altara is a luxury apartments near My Khe Beach. We were staying on the 28th floor, 2 bedrooms apartment. It has a very nice layout of the rooms, nice amenities, full kitchen and kitchenette, stacked up washer & dryer, great hot water, nice bathrooms.
The view from our room is amazing. We get a nice views from every angles of the apartment.
The building has a convenience store on the 3A floor called Beezy Store, opens 24/7. It is very convenience to grab a late night snacks and last minute supplies.
The concierge staff name Phat is amazing. He is very personable, attentive and helpful. If you ever need a local currency, the concierge down stairs will help. They have a very competitive rate in US$.
Altara is right next door by The Four Points Sheraton Hotel. It is a short walk to the public beach, My Khe Beach. It is walkable to anything and surrounded by mini market and restaurants.
Highly recommend it.

Stayed here during a gals trip! View from balcony looks right onto the construction across but if you angle your head you can catch a glimpse of the coastline. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Comes with a decent kitchenette, and a dryer which we couldn’t figure out how to operate. Room felt humid in part due to the constant rain, this we understand cannot be helped due to the recent flooding situation in Hoi An. We are grateful for the stay. I would propose for them to consider providing dehumidifiers in bedrooms if situation persist, so rooms don’t become dank. Overall a comfortable stay and would consider coming back.

The location was great, as was the level of service from both Chin & Nga in the restaurant. They went out of their way to accommodate our requests & they anticipated our needs on each morning of our 8 day stay. The room size was decent, however there was an odor in the entryway under the vent and in the bathroom which required us to leave the bathroom window open for air flow. There was a wax melt holder in the kitchen upon arrival, which was removed by housekeeping on the 2nd day of our stay. It seemed odd at the time, I quickly came to realize why the previous guest needed it. The cleaning by the housekeeping staff could be improved both in the rooms & especially in the gym. The machines are dirty. There are no sanitizing wipes or paper towels in the gym. There are hand towels & an unlabeled spray bottle which we used to wipe down the machines, but not exactly sure what the liquid was. Overall, a decent stay but minor improvements would make it so much better.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Unsafe and Poorly Maintained
My recent stay at this hotel was deeply frustrating and concerning. What should have been a comfortable retreat turned into a series of unpleasant and unsafe experiences.
• The window view was only partially blocked by surrounding buildings, but still made the room feel dark and confined.
• Water leaks were present in the restaurant, my room, and even the balcony—clearly a sign of poor maintenance.
• I found a cockroach in the bedroom, which is unacceptable and reflects serious hygiene issues.
• The sofa was uncomfortable, and the bedding looked worn and neglected. Housekeeping seems inattentive at best.
• Most alarming: I was trapped in the elevator twice due to severe electrical blackouts. This was terrifying and completely avoidable with proper infrastructure.
• Breakfast was disrupted by another blackout—no air conditioning, no lighting, and a generally miserable atmosphere.
A hotel should be a safe and welcoming home for travelers. This one failed on every front. I would absolutely not recommend staying here until major improvements are made.
