Central Vietnam

Description

Central Vietnam occupies the central part of the country along the South China Sea, between North and South Vietnam. This is the narrowest part of Vietnam. The width of the border with Laos, in some places is reduced to 40 km. The unofficial capital of central Vietnam is the city of Danang.

Central Vietnam lies in a subtropical to tropical north and south zones. Climate border between North and South Vietnam assumed the Hai Van Pass, it is a few kilometers north of Da Nang. In good weather, the pass offers magnificent views of the South China Sea. In Central Vietnam has more than 10 national parks and reserves. In Quang Binh province is the world's largest cave Sean Dong.

Period comfortable beach holiday in Central Vietnam lasts from early March to early September. The most favorable in the region is the weather in April and May. Tourist centers are the cities of Hue and Hoi An.
