aNhill Boutique in Hue

A beautiful setting and amazing hotel (would give 6stars if we could!). The staff are so helpful, courteous and cannot do enough for the guests. The grounds are so beautiful and the swimming pool overlooks the wonderful gardens and koi carp pool. The room we had was sensational and we all had a wonderful break. Would come back any time!

This was probably the top hotel and resort we stayed at during an eight week trip in Thailand and Vietnam,we stayed at twelve different hotels in different locations and this was without doubt number one. It is truly outstanding, the room, facilities, restaurant, pool and most importantly the grounds are exceptional and very well maintained, the fish in the pond are the best Carp i have ever seen and are incredibly well looked after. Would 100% stay here again if I get the opportunity and wouldnt bother looking anywhere else in Hue. The staff are very attentive and friendly too.

aNhill Boutique was an amazing experience from start to finish! I have such a great impression of Hue and this hotel played a large role in it. I hope you all consider this hotel if you ever have a chance to visit Hue. You’ll find a delightful experience thanks to the reasons below: 😁 First, the staff is what truly makes this hotel wonderful. They were so kind and attentive throughout my entire stay. Anything I could’ve asked for, they were happy to assist with or provide. Everyone was so cheerful and personable. I often took walks around the hotel to explore the facilities and was always greeted with smiles. They were able to answer my many questions and displayed great patience with me. It just felt like a nice personal touch and made the stay feel very warm and inviting. The hotel itself is beautiful and its grounds are meticulously cared for by staff throughout the day. The facilities were always kept clean and presentable. There is a large koi pond filled with many eager fish swimming around hoping for a treat. The lush garden has all types of trees and plants sprouting flowers and fruits. The pool was calming and had plenty of lounge chairs for guests to choose from. The dining area is situated right in the middle so that you can observe all of the areas above. In the evening, the lighting changes into a moody and romantic atmosphere in case you and a loved one want to have a delicious dinner with all the flavors of Hue. The room itself was incredibly spacious and had an amazing view from the balcony. There was so much natural light that came in and really helped to make the room feel like home away from home. The location was an amazing change of pace for me. Prior to my stay, I had been in the city amidst all the hustle and bustle. This hotel is away from the city center a bit. If you’re looking for a serene retreat with plenty of nature, you can’t go wrong with choosing to stay here. That being said, if you’re looking to get into the city center, the hotel does offer complimentary shuttle service to the city center twice a day. From there, you can explore by foot or hail a taxi/ride-share service. The hotel provides many services, such as a spa (with a plethora of options to select from. Be sure to ask for Duyen, as she did a wonderful job with my wife’s services), fun classes that you can attend (such as yoga , rice paper-making and coffee making), and miscellaneous activities like feeding the aforementioned koi fish. Staying here never felt boring and I walked away feeling more relaxed and fulfilled than ever.

We booked a super deluxe suite, and our experience was overwhelmingly positive! It was incredibly clean, tastefully decorated, and the room itself was very stylish. The hotel grounds, while not as large as we initially thought, were still well-maintained and beautiful.

The breakfast offered by the hotel had a fantastic selection – everything was delicious.

In the morning, we were also invited to a yoga session in a separate dome-shaped building.

The only thing that didn't quite meet our expectations was the hotel spa: for the price, the service wasn't up to par. We were offered cold tea upon arrival, the massage was mediocre, many areas were simply skipped, and during the milk bath procedure – my bath was hot, but my friend's was cool, and you just sit in wooden tubs staring at a white wall. The area could have been designed to be much more interesting.

I also want to extend a special thank you to the wonderful hotel staff for accommodating all my requests to the fullest – they arranged a cake, bought a bouquet of flowers and delivered it to the room, all quickly, efficiently, and beautifully. They also presented a book as a gift to the birthday person. All of this truly made our stay unforgettable. Thank you!

Really nice hotel and staff are the best!  So helpful and the rooms leave nothing to be desired.

The hotel is not in the city centre, but that's why we choose it ..... for the tranquility and the quite environment.
The establishment is impeccable, we pay around HK$8xx, and have to admit this is very good value (even considering not much facilities).
The restaurant team are awesome, very attentive, eagar to assist in a warm and welcoming manner. We went for breadfast daily, and from the second day, they remember our breakfast drink!
The spa, much room for improvement...... considering the price, really would not expect "smelly" bath robe (the price is around 2 to 3 times the price one pay at a spa parlour locally).
During my stay, the hotel is under a planned renovation construction (we were told) - work is going on even over the weekends, that was very unfortunate. Especially we are looking for a quite hotel! I really think they should state at the booking portal and let people know!
The most disappointing part is, the reception team were recommending car service to us (for our return trip to Danang). The original price quote was US$92. We booked.
On the departure day, we were asked to pay, the bill was shown in VND (local currency) and I noticed there are service charge and tax applied. So I ask if the US$92 included the service charge and tax. The reception gentleman was slight agitated and say something like "every body knows service charge and tax are applied to bills in Vietnam".
We were then checking the bill and tried to figure out if the US$92 were inclusive of the service charge and tax. While we were doing that, the reception gentleman told us, yes, the US$92 were already including the the service charge and tax. We were a bit itimidated then, and not wanting to further ruin our holiday mood, so we paid and leave.
The car trip was very pleasant and the driver was very polite and attentive.
When we are home, we check the bill again, and find out, we paid around US$112 for the trip. (ie, the originally quote price US$92 is not inclusive of service and tax. More so, the reception gentleman that explained the price to us, was either uncompetent or dishonest!

The location is beautiful, the rooms are clean. The breakfast is delicious, but the pool is a bit dirty and slimy. I've already given feedback.

I had 2 full body massages (90 minutes each). My masseuse was Trinh. She was was very professional and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my massages that left me feeling relaxed. I would recommend the spa and especially Trinh.

Beautiful oasis just outside the centre but easily accessible by taxi. Amazing food, stunning room, jaw dropping beautiful pool and incredibly hospitable staff. Don’t miss.
