The reviews are too harsh. Sure the hotel is old and a bit run down. The TV and fridge don’t work. But for this price point I can’t complain about anything. For $14 a night you get a queen bed, hot shower, AC and a security guard for your motorbike downstairs. That’s more than a bargain.

The receptionist is unfriendly and very rude. The room is dirty overall. On top of that, AC doesn’t work. We had to return the room and find another hotel for our trip.

They lady working here really is stingy. She will try to charge you for any little thing. The male worker at night is very good though. Keep in mind that I've probably stayed in 50 hotels in Vietnam and this is the only one that overcharged me over trivial things. It's not a big deal because it's only a dollar but I definitely won't be returning.

The soundproofing of the room was poor, and it took a long time at the front desk when checking in due to a work error by the travel agent. There were two bottles of mineral water in the room, and the front desk clerk specially asked to give it to me as a gift (she knows a little Chinese, maybe I heard it wrong? Was she apologizing for the delay at the front desk?), so I drank both bottles of mineral water. . But when checking out, the front desk clerk charged me for two bottles of mineral water (because I reported the inconvenience during check-in to Ctrip, which made her angry, so she canceled the gift?)

Very very dirty rooms. I had to leave the room because of bed bugs. I wanted to stay one night because of the night flight, but this is unacceptable. They don't want to pay money back. Never again such service….

The staff are very friendly and work hard to make you feel welcome but unfortunately the hotel is pretty poor. Our room was a good size but very cold and the windows were paper thin so you can hear everything from the street. A few of the light bulbs were not working and there were no batteries in the TV remote so we switched them from the aircon unit. It was okay for 1 night but we have slept in far better hotels for the price that they charge. Need to spend a bit of that money on doing it up a bit.

Cheap alternative for a night or two. Very friendly reception and helpful two. As its a budget property the place is a little run down. decent size room and bath room but needs a patch up in the place and a proper cleaning job. As the city is not really know for tourists or expats don't seem to bother much but i would say ok enough to spend a night or 2 but nothing longer than that.

This place is old and in bad shape. When I first got in my room, only 1 lightbulb was working. The receptionist then asked us to help switching off and on the main power switch, and it’s fixed. But after going out for dinner and back, it stopped working again.
The hot water was only a bit warm though I turned it all the way to the hottest.
There’s no air vent in the bathroom.
The bed sheets were (slightly) moist, and I felt kinda uncomfortable at first. Got better after turning on the AC for a while.
The price is quite cheap even though it’s in the city, and they have a large car park downstairs. Looks big and great on the outside, and maybe there’s other better rooms, but I had quite a bad experience here.
