Northern Vietnam

Description

The Northern part of Vietnam is bordered by China to the North, Laos to the West, Tokinsky Bay in the East. Along the southern border there is no clear definition, and the Vietnam smoothly into Central Vietnam in the province of Ninh Binh or Quang Binh.

The history of the state began from the North, Central and South Vietnam was inhabited by other peoples. It is at the North you can find the old viatskie Royal palaces, the Buddhist pagodas and the remains of military fortresses.

The climate is subtropical, mainly mountain falling to the sea. The mountains are covered with evergreen subtropical forests (jungles). In North Vietnam there are about 20 national parks and reserves.

The most comfortable tourist time to visit Northern Vietnam is from mid-March to late may in spring and from mid-September to late October in autumn. The most visited are the cities of Hanoi, Halong and Sapa.
