Duc Vuong Saigon Hotel - Bui Vien in Ho Chi Minh

Stayed a year ago . We are thinking of the staff at the Duc Vuong and we hope they are all OK . Special mention to Quang in the dining room who is a true gentleman and to the lovely person at the front desk who got up ( really) early to give us a breakfast and help us to our Taxi to the airport - we hope to return one day

Duc Vuong and their staff made the Vietnam experience 10 times better. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was great with a different traditional vietnamese dish each morning. I will recommend Duc Vuong hotel to anyone who wants to be right in the night life zone.

This is a basic but spotlessly clean hotel right in the middle of Bui Vien walking street. Rooms are exactly what you would expect for the price but the best thing about this hotel is the staff who are absolutely lovely! Breakfast here is excellent big thanks to Johnny and the team for being so nice and welcoming and remembering our names and looking after us so well. I would definitely stay here again for a couple of nights the area is not for the faint hearted and is loud and lively but we knew what to expect so we had great fun! Thanks to all at Duc Vuong Hotel such a great team!

Really like the hotel, it's clean, comfortable with AC,, roof top bar. Breakfast wasn't great. We had a quiet room but it's at the quieter end of the street but very short walk to the main area, restaurants and bars

Nice clean hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. My room was on the first floor so i didnt have a nice view. I did have the option to change rooms but I prefered the layout of the room I was given to the new option. The breakfast was nice you had a choice of cooked or cold with a selection of fruits, and hot and cold jucies. I would stay there again.

You also have to eat and try the cocktails at the rooftop restaurant their food is nice as well.

Lovely hotel, roof top bar was amazing. Showers are stupid it was under my neck so couldebt wash my face without going on my knees. Good pressure in shower thou very clean and tidy rooms friendly staff, 5 star if the shower could of moved up

The hotel offers everywhere a very pleasant atmosphere with excellent service. All staff were always polite and help me with my special request very friendly (I had an unusual concern with my luggage). The breakfast offers a good selection with Asian and European food. The room with city view has a comfortable equipment. However, the third bed in the room should be omitted, for three people it would be very tight, for me alone: ok. WLAN worked fast except for a short exception. The hotel has a beautiful roof top bar, from which you have a great view of Saigon. I felt very well at this hotel, it was one of the best 3 star hotels in Saigon. Of course I will stay here next time again!

We enjoyed our stay. It had all of the basic amenities and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. There are definitely better value hotels available, but you can't beat the location of this one in the heart of the backpacker's district. Only other issue we faced was the car they booked for us for transport back to the airport didn't have seatbelts. Everything else was great.
