La Memoria Hotel - City Centre in Ho Chi Minh

Budget hotel, we stayed for a few nights, bed sheets were not changed a single time. Toilets not been cleaned for a while.
No soap in the room. 2 towels per room. Bathmat was not changed since arrival.

We asked to have an additional card access to the room. Receptionist refused to do it.

Pool is not been cleaned for a while, so I suggest not use it.

Breakfast is limited but staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

Half of the hotel is occupied by locals and they sometimes had own parties until late. When groups arrived and were so loud reception or concierge made no effort to quiet them down at 1 am.

Design of the hotel is really nice.. palm Springs or Mexico vibe but facilities and rooms are not well maintained.

Terrible. The room was dirty upon arrival. There was a lot of hair on the floor and in the shower, and there was a strong smell of urine throughout the room.

The room door resembles a prison door, with gaps at the top and bottom that let in constant noise from the busy traffic outside.

We asked for the room to be cleaned, but unfortunately the shower was still dirty and the smell had not disappeared.

We moved to another hotel. They promised a refund, but unfortunately this never happened.

Good thing: AC, but god I don’t care about that. The room is ok size. However; be prepared of all sort of bad smells… The room honestly smells like sewer and bathroom the first day, the second day it smells like something rotted. Took me hours to figure out, it’s the plant. But after removing the plant, the bathroom and sewer smell came back :( The bathroom is hell dirty, look at the shower area. Floor is basic concrete, perfect for hiding dirts. I also saw someone’s hair on the table… when I got the key, they sold me it’s a top floor city view with a balcony. Translation: it is third floor, next to a noisy street; balcony means the room is accessed through a corridor, and the corridor doesn’t have a wall 😅. The room didn’t do any soundproofing, at night I felt like sleeping on a noisy street. staff are nice, breakfast good. And the ants are literally everywhere… But I’m sorry the noisy and smelling part just hit my lower limits. So will never come back

Very dirty

The room is clean and staff are friendly. If you bargain you might get a good deal. The Internet connection was terrible interrupted all the time was promised they could fix it (tomorrow) every day during my stay. The hotel has no elevator and had to climb up 65 stairs. The water they are putting in the fridge is not complimentary and you are charged 150% extra.

600k old shabby room, wardrobe fell all wings. Especially the male receptionist, the night shift speaks very disdainfully, despising guests!
