I stayed here for a few nights while exploring Saigon. The hotel,is located on a small side street, and although it was close to the main roads, it was very quiet. The room was large enough and comfortable, and the air-con was a huge relief in the heat! The staff members were uniformly helpful and polite, and would go out of their way to help. The breakfast on the 4th floor was adequate and filling. Taxis to/from the airport, and also tours, could be organised by the hotel. There are a couple of nice cafes on the same street, and Ben Thanh market is only about 12 minute walk away; a lot of other restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. All in all, a good base from which to explore this fascinating city.

Lovely place with brilliant and friendly staff. Just off a main street so perfect setting. The free laundry was great and quick and easy to use. Some great little touches as well, like a foot soak left at your door on last night. Spotlessly clean and great breakfast. Can't fault this place at all.

Spent a week here and it was really perfect. Clean, comfortable beds, plenty of good AC and hot water, very helpful staff, and a location that can’t be beat. It’s a 15 to 20 minute walk to the major sights and down an alley that makes it quiet at night. But still many cafes around. And the included breakfast was wonderful!

A small boutique hotel in the center of Ho Chi Minh City. Clean, cozy, and the staff are helpful and friendly. We loved everything. Nearby attractions, including Ho Chi Minh City Wall Street, restaurants, cafes, and shopping centers are all within walking distance. Despite the quiet surroundings, you can sleep peacefully and relax.

This is a fabulous hotel for location and in a quiet alley. We had an issue with our booking which was handled extremely well by the hotel staff particularly Lin and Emy. Fabulous breakfast was offered and free laundry was an absolute bonus. Great coffee shops near by. There are some incredible local eateries offering truely authentic Vietnamese food. Would highly recommend Quran An 79! Close walking distance or better still a Grab if it is hot to most major city attractions. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel. We stayed in a junior suite with balcony and it was very comfortable and roomy.

Except for the location which is not close to the main shopping areas, the hotel provided everything. Clean room, it has all the amenities from toothbrush to shower cap, cotton pads, comb, etc. good hearty breakfast with many choices from Vietnamese noodles to western menu. Variety of fruits. The staff was most helpful & friendly!

The room I stayed in yesterday had no distinction between dry and wet areas. The bathroom is very small, and most importantly, the breakfast elevator today trapped us inside. Thanks to a few foreigners who came downstairs after breakfast and saw us trapped inside, they immediately ran to the fifth floor to call them and finally rescued us.

One of the worst possible hotel that I ever saw in my life. Horrible staff... Very uncourteous. It seems all they are interested is, in the wallet of customers without taking care of the needs. Very pushy staff. Hotel itself have crampy rooms and no air circulation. I will never ever go back there again.

We checked out after being there for an hour. We were totally okay with how old the hotel was because you get what you pay for. However friendly customer service can be accomplished free of charge.
Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with the front desk when we asked for simple directions to the spa, servers being rude, very loud staff with stuff everywhere while they setup for a wedding.
I understand business must be done but it can be done politely. We ended up checking out immediately without causing a problem at the front desk and even paid 500k VND or $20 USD for the hour we were there.
We immediately booked an Airbnb down the road for less price but with amazing customer service, great location, solid WiFi and even free washer dryers in District 1. So my advice is to avoid this hotel and go with a solid Airbnb.
