Garden Resort in Gagra

We stayed at the end of November (October 28-October 31, 2025). The hotel is very nice, the staff is always helpful, the breakfasts are delicious and quite varied (champagne included). The downsides: insects (some kind of bedbugs, they said it was the season), but they were everywhere, both in the room and throughout the hotel, and they didn't do anything to get rid of them. And the food at the Mayak restaurant wasn't very tasty.

We recently visited the Garden Resort Gagra and were absolutely delighted! It's a truly wonderful and quiet place, perfect for a relaxing holiday. The hotel is located close to the sea, and the beach is simply stunning.
The views from the rooms are simply breathtaking! The breakfasts were delicious. The rooms were very clean.
The staff was very friendly.
The only issue is that we booked the hotel back in January, and the confirmation stated that the sauna and hammam were included in the price. However, upon check-in, we were informed that the sauna had been cancelled and was only available for an additional fee. This was a bit disappointing, but overall, our stay was wonderful.
We will definitely be back!

I was very pleased with the hotel. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the buffet food was delicious. While not particularly varied, there was plenty to choose from. The grounds were pleasant to stroll around, and the beach was conveniently accessed by elevator. The beach was well-maintained, and the sea was clean. I'd especially like to commend the staff, especially Dr. David, who provided prompt medical assistance for my poisoning, provided medication, and offered recommendations. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

I had a wonderful holiday at the Garden Resort! From the very first moment I was impressed by the quality of service - the staff was very polite and willing to help. The maids were always smiling and took care of the cleanliness of the rooms, which added to the cozy atmosphere.

The cleanliness in the public areas and at the reception was also at the highest level. I really liked that the hotel territory is closed and well-kept. There is a wonderful park for walks, as well as access to the sea on a closed beach, which allows you to enjoy nature and the sea breeze.

I was delighted with the views from the balcony of my room - beautiful mountains, Gagra and the endless sea, which filled me with inspiration. The hotel also has 2 beautiful swimming pools, a fitness room and a hammam, where you can relax after a busy day.

In addition, for lovers of active recreation, there is a tennis court, where you can spend time usefully. Overall, it was an amazing stay, and I was completely delighted with my holiday!

I rest here not for the first time, this place is worthy of attention, and all connoisseurs of beauty and comfort should know about it. So in order:
1. The best place in Abkhazia 100%. No "raid" of the USSR, the hotel was reconstructed and turned into a modern functional building. The surrounding area remained untouched and this is a plus! Stone paving stones, railings, flowerpots, etc. Stalinist times, fascinate with their beauty, and the fact that they have been preserved almost in their original form. Views are a separate song, on one side of the mountain, on the other the sea and everything is green.
2. Kitchen. Much improved since my last visit. The guys are great, they listen to the guest and improve their work. The buffet has become more varied, everything is fresh and tasty. I took a room only with breakfast and regretted that it was not full board, Swedish food is worthy of being in you not only for breakfast, but also for lunch and dinner)) I was also surprised by the restaurants on the territory, in particular "Forest" and "Mayak". Just rolled out from behind the table)) The forest is for barbecue lovers, the meat is fried, you can go crazy how delicious! In tandem with feihua compote or tangerine juice in general 🤤, and khachapuri, mmmm I recommend it!
Lighthouse- ah....views...it's like an Instagrammable place! You sit as if in the middle of the sea. I was torn between a fork and a camera))) Most of the dishes I liked tom yam with seafood, duck and persimmon salad, baked beetroot salad, and cod risotto. I remember and I want to go back))
3. Things to do. On the territory of a warm, clean swimming pool, for adults and separately for children. Playground, gym, library with interesting copies of books, sauna, tennis court. Since I was alone, I tried everything during my stay!
The sea is clean, a few minutes walk from the hotel along the colorful bridge.
The staff is polite and caring.
Verdict: Definitely recommend! Personally, I will be back!
