I liked everything, rested 9 days. The sea is 5 minutes away, the beach is clean, the water is gorgeous, clear. Rooms are clean and linen is changed every 4 days. The only negatives are the incredibly dirty hood, in the first photo and the dirty air conditioner... They breathed dust, which often caused them to sneeze a lot.
Maybe we'll come here again next year.

Last year I had a rest in the boarding house "Cold River". It is located on the territory of Stalin's famous state dacha. The view from the mountain to the sea is just amazing!
My standard room is equipped with a TV and air conditioning. There is a small refrigerator where you can place purchases from the market in Gagra (fifteen minutes drive to it). The room itself is small but has a balcony. They clean the room every other day. The cleaners are very friendly and do a good job. Water is available 24 hours a day, so rumors spread in vain that the water is turned off in Abkhazia in the evening. Water pressure is normal. There are coolers with drinking water on each floor. There is a car park, which is guarded, as well as the territory of the boarding house.

The food buffet is tasty and varied. You can use the services of a cafe on the territory of the boarding house, if you suddenly didn’t like something in the dining room.
Internet is available throughout the boarding house. Everything suited me. Around a beautiful pine park for guests of the boarding house, the air there is extraordinary, combining sea and pine aromas at the same time.
Close to the sea, but you have to use the underpass. The beach is pebbly, just the way I like it. There are sun loungers and always cleaned on the beach. Sea of ​​extraordinary purity and beauty!

Last year, in the summer, we went on vacation with the whole family and stopped by for a day in Kholodnaya Rechka. immediately, from the entrance, the polite staff pleased us: they helped us find the most advantageous room for the price. The rooms themselves are very comfortable and clean, which could not but rejoice us. From the windows, the view is simply excellent_ on the sea. The sea is across the road, the entrance is gentle with crystal clear water. The buffet is excellent: there is food for vegetarians, and for PP, and for meat-eaters. In general, your boarding house brightened up our family vacation. I advise everyone

Last summer we rested in Gagra and stopped in the Cold River.
Here it is necessary to clarify that this is not a boarding house in the broad sense of the word, but simply a mini-hotel. We just liked it, since there are few residents, the administration keeps order and in the evenings there was no noise and some drunken parties - a very calm place. The hotel is well maintained, newly renovated, our room, double junior suite was nicely left. With modern technology: TV, split, hair dryer, good Wi-Fi. Cleaned every day, changed linen and towels regularly. We were fed 4 times a day, according to the principle of a buffet, the variety is not bad, there are vegetarian dishes, I was at the PP and still did not remain hungry)
The location is very good, in fact, that's why we chose the Cold River. The sea is across the road, the area is poorly populated, there are the same boarding houses nearby, a lot of greenery, a gorgeous landscape. There is nothing to Gagra, you can travel to neighboring cities, it is also easy to get from the airport, there are minibuses and taxis, it’s not far to go.
The beach next to the boarding house is clean, with a gentle entry into the sea, the water is clear, just a feast for the eyes. In the evenings, an excellent view opened from the window, nothing obstructed the view of the sea. In general, wonderful impressions remained.
