Kurort Hotel in Pitsunda

This is terrible! The cafeteria needs to be closed immediately. This isn't a throwback to the past, but a complete lack of service. The broth is boiled water with one Galina Blanca cube...no greens. The tea is water with a metallic aluminum taste. The older woman in the cafeteria is downright rude, yet I'm very loyal to people. There's no hot water in the morning. The elevator only works once, and when I asked if a repairman could be called to improve the situation, the answer was as expected: if you complain, it won't work.
The sea 🌊 is fantastic, very clean. The rest is absolutely terrible.
If my review saves someone's vacation, then it was worth the time I spent writing it.

The nature, the air, the sea, everything is superb! But I don't recommend the Pitsunda resort itself. We booked a room in Apsny in November and ended up staying in Amzara. The wall in the room is next to the elevator, the noise is terrible, the food in the cafeteria is disgusting, there's never a seat, we're standing around waiting for food, the service is terrible, and the price for everything is way too high.

If you want to lose weight, book this boarding house. You have to grab a sunbed around 6:30 a.m. in the morning. Then, at 8:00 a.m., breakfast is the same old menu: carrots, beets, pancakes, and a couple more. Lunch is about the same. Waiting for a maid is simply impossible during a 10-day stay; your room won't be cleaned even once, and cockroaches are your friends in the room.

This year, everything went wrong right away. We arrived around 8 a.m., and the receptionist wasn't there (we were asked to wait!!!). Then, the receptionist started talking rudely to the out-of-town guests who were waiting to be checked in. It felt like we'd arrived at her home!!! But the worst part is, there's no electricity almost every day, and consequently, no water either. We shower in five-liter jugs; the bottoms are completely broken!!!!! We only come here for the crystal-clear sea and the healing air. But now I don't know if it's worth coming here anymore.

Room 1st category, renovated. We settled in the boarding house Amra. Quiet enough, away from noisy restaurants and cafes where music blares until 1 am. The repair is so-so, but there are a sufficient number of sockets (which is convenient, you can charge several gadgets at the same time), sconces, switches at waist level (no need to look above your head). Iron and kettle on the floor, not on each, through the floor. In the room there is only a carafe for water and a glass, 1 plate, no cups, no other utensils either. The room has a small refrigerator, TV, table, wardrobe with shelves. Mirror only in the bathroom. Plastic chairs only on the balcony, and there is no table on the balcony. The electricity is turned off if the magnetic card (room key) is not inserted in the right place, so there is little use for the refrigerator ..)) If there are no residents in the room, then neither the refrigerator nor the sockets work! The mattresses on the beds are sagging, the springs dig in ... Feather pillows are generally "stone", uncomfortable. But all this is not so bad, the most unexpected thing is food. Firms sell vouchers with 3 meals a day and this is something !!!: edible only for breakfast - cottage cheese, sour cream, sometimes a casserole - cottage cheese or semolina, and vegetable cuts: separately cucumbers, tomatoes, sulguni cheese and sausage. Lunch and dinner are always the same: pasta, buckwheat, sometimes boiled potatoes, sometimes something like roast, but there is NO meat in it! SALO instead of meat. Cutlets and meatballs - "bread", even local dogs do not eat (which, by the way, eat everything, even bread with the smell of sausage), Such "delicious"! There was pilaf with crushed chicken bones instead of meat. In general, cool cooks in this most extreme dining room, closest to the Lighthouse !!! : they manage to cook from one chicken both the first and second for lunch, and even dinner! Sooooo economical! You can't just eat their food!! They themselves would be fed this food for the rest of their lives! Snacks: raw carrots, boiled (not always cooked) beets, thinly sliced ​​cucumbers, no tomato, and cabbage, sometimes Korean carrots, something like Olivier salad in large pieces without dressing. Mayonnaise, ketchup, adjika. Sour cream as a dressing for breakfast, lunch and dinner! And she saves! More cereals: very watery oatmeal and semolina. Of the fruits - some chopped apples. Tea is something .., practically indistinguishable from water in color, completely tasteless! Apparently, one bag of tea is used for a tank of boiling water, our economical ones .. Yes, more honey in the morning, lemon for tea in the evening. Instant coffee only. And it's a buffet! Yes, even - all the utensils are PLASTIC!!! How many times in my life I have been in different hotels, boarding houses, I have never met such a disgusting cuisine / food anywhere. of those who write these laudatory reviews ... I regret that I bought almost 10 days in this boarding house. Never go here again and would not recommend!!! What has become the most prestigious resort in Soviet times and its boarding houses!??? I do not appreciate Pitsunda itself, the sea and the beach. Pitsunda with its relic pines, the air, the temple with the organ hall are beautiful! But all the dirt floats in the sea, including watermelon peels and condoms. including in Pitsunda!
