Blu Wave Hotel in Vlore

The location is amazing. Personally i don't like the beaches in the centar of Vlore. The hotel is on the outside of the city there is a private beach 2 min away. Clean water perfect paradise. Of course you have to pay for sun beds but we already expected that since it is normal almost everywhere in Albania. What i didn’t expect, is on booking stating breakfast is included and then learning at the property that breakfast is available but you have to pay extra 10 euros per person. On booking after you book apparently it does say this in small letters. So for future misunderstandings maybe you should change this. Mosquitoes everywhere in the room even before we opened any window, could easily fix this issue to make the stay better. And i believe adding a credit card option as payment method is vital since we are living in 2025. The rooms were new and renovated but the plastic covers that you are supposed to take off after renovation were still on the new doors and window frames, nobody cared to take them off. The hotel was clean. The staff was really nice, polite and helpful. Good coffee at the bar and the croissants were tasty.
The hotel has a lot of potential it’s a shame not to use it.
All in all a good stay.
