Hotel Royal in Vlore

Had a wonderful stay at this quiet, seaside hotel. The location is perfect—right next to the water. No loud music, so you can enjoy the peaceful sound of the waves. The hotel is spotless, and the rooms are simple but comfortable.

The food was delicious, fresh, and just what you need to start the day. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, always willing to give recommendations or assist with anything we needed.

If you're looking for a peaceful, well-kept spot by the sea, this place is a great choice. Would definitely stay again!

We booked Hotel Royal because it was advertised as family friendly, with beach access and breakfast included—ideal for a short overnight stay with a child. While the rooms were clean and the rest of the staff was very pleasant, the overall experience did not reflect what we expected for a family-oriented hotel.

At around 9:30 PM, my child wanted something simple like chicken nuggets. The restaurant downstairs had limited kid-friendly options—just pizza and nuggets—and we planned to take the nuggets to our room. We were then told that no “real food” is allowed in rooms, only snacks like chips.

This policy was not disclosed before booking. We received a receipt of payment, but no hotel rules were shared in advance. At check-in, we were briefly shown a paper and told the breakfast hours, but nothing was emphasized about the food restriction. When we raised this with management, we were told the rule was written on that same sheet—implying we should have read it more carefully. But if the policy is that strict, it should be clearly stated before payment or check-in, with something like: “Please read these rules before confirming your stay.”

If you’re traveling as a couple, this hotel may be ideal—clean rooms, great location, and nice staff. But if you’re a parent expecting flexibility or convenience for feeding your child, especially in the room, this is not the place. We left feeling misled and disappointed. I would not recommend it for families with young children.

Everything is perfect, the room is clean, very cozy beds, the bathroom is very clean, and it's a new and modern hotel right next to a very pretty blue-green beach!
Staff are very polite, kind, and ready to help if you need something!
Breakfast is delicious, and you have many options to choose from!
Lunch & Dinner the food was outstanding! Every meal we had was cooked to perfection.
The hotel has a reasonable price compared to the other places in the area!
As I live in Florida, USA and there are a lot of sharks and you are never safe to go deep, here it's the opposite no sharks, and free to enjoy and explore the beach!
100% coming back next year to this hotel ❤️!

I STAYED IN THIS HOTEL FOR 5 NIGHTS WITH MY FAMILY AND I CAN SAY IT IS A SPECIAL EXPERIENCE. HOSPITALITY IS THE KEY POINT OF THIS HOTEL. THEY OFFERED ALL THE TIME TO HELP US WITH EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. VERY ORDERLY ENVIRONMENT AND PERFECTLY CLEAN ROOMS. OUR ROOM HAD A SEA VIEW AND IT WAS AN INDESCRIBABLE PLEASURE TO WAKE UP IN THE MORNING WITH THAT VIEW. THE BREAKFAST IS VERY FRESH AND THEY OFFERED US BREAKFAST EVEN BECAUSE THE TIME HAD PASSED. Ist the most beautiful excperienc ever. Everything was fine. Very clean rooms. Girl in the reception was very helpful with us. View from the room was amazing. I recomended 100%. Brealfast very teasty with very variety. I definitly come back next year.
