While at first as an American fresh off an Antarctica cruise, I was taken back by the lack of amenities like TV sets. But the hotel and its charm grew on me. It's quiet & peaceful. And the top deck terrace was a very pleasant surprise. Relaxing chairs & a moderately good view of the Polermo area were excellent. IF you're not too fussy, you'll enjoy your stay. Reminds me of places I would have loved...

We stayed at this Hotel a few times during our trip through South America. And we always had a great time! It is a very charming hotel with a lot of history. The staff is super friendly and always there to help. Can’t recommend this hotel more.

I had a wonderful two nights in this hotel. The service was impeccable, the staff so very kind, the room was comfortable and everything one would expect from this kind of a hotel experience. I enjoyed the hotel A&B. I liked that when arriving at the hotel, the hotel had clear signs that is was easy to identify. The main doors were locked for security purposes. Great location! The room and bed were clean! The soap dispensers in the shower weren't working, though. Our window faced an air shaft, which wasn't ideal. There was also some confusion with the tourist tax; some people in our group were charged $1.50, others weren't. And breakfast was a bit of a mess!

Hotel with great value for money. The room was very clean, spacious, and had a nice view of Puerto Madero, the area we liked the most and were able to reach on foot from the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very attentive. I would stay there again.

The friendliness of the owner and staff were a stand out at this lovely boutique hotel. In addition the breakfast had so many yummy things, from homemade yogurt and granola to scrambled eggs or Argentine the favorite pan dulce. The small pool on the top terrace was lovely for cooling off. The king bed was super comfortable. I would highly recommend this adorable hotel with it’s excellent location.

The room was really charming and very clean! I found out that the owner is French, so it makes sense that the design/decor is beautiful! Smaller, nice clean hotel located on a quiet side street. Large rooms, quiet and clean. Breakfast buffet is ok. Unfortunately no coffee machine for espresso or cappuccino. USB charging ports will be very useful, or at least international electric outlets in the bathroom. WIFI is very slow, not only in my room, but also in the lobby. Absolutely no channels in English, no news network.

The hotel makes a great first impression - very nice and promising at the entrance. However, the room itself could definitely use some renovation, especially the bathroom, which feels a bit outdated. One small tip for future guests: make sure to put the “do not disturb” sign on the door. Ribera Sur Hotel is conveniently located in the San Telmo section of Buenos Aires, and walking distance to the famous San Telmo market. Rooms are spare but clean. WiFi is excellent. They have a beautiful outdoor space with a small pool. Staff goes above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable, and they speak excellent English. This hotel is in a great location close to attractions, transport, shops etc. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fine. One odd feature is, the Air Conditioning is operated from the front desk which means you have to ask for it to be turned on/off. This is my second time here, and my go to spot now when I want a weekend in Buenos Aires. I have referred friends and family who have all been delighted - for its location in Palermo restaurant district, exceptional breakfast, tranquility oasis within a busy city.
