It is very rare to stay in a hotel with this price and service in Gyumri. The environment is quiet, the room is clean and tidy, and the breakfast is rich. It is the best choice!

Loved this hostel/hotel, small, freindly and quiet at night. Tea and coffee making facilities and nice courtyard to sit and eat in. And there is a freindly dog. Close to Supermarket and banks and the minibus stops out side 100dram in to the center or you can walk it about an hour and a quarter. Traveled in early April. What can I say: a wonderful, comfortable and cozy hotel! We got a very comfortable, beautiful room, with a pleasant interior and all the necessary amenities. The administrators are very polite and courteous, responsive to guests' requests. Very tasty cuisine in the bar-restaurant! In general, relaxing here - and even among such a beautiful mountain landscape - is a pleasure...

Nice clen place with friendly staff. They even did our laundry as we were staying for a week. The problem is the location and the quite dangerous road outside the hotel. Just walking to the shop in the evening can be a struggle as the pathway is not really existing and they were no lights.

Not a tourist town, but a brand new hotel with friendly staff. Far from the center, but great to spend a night if you are passing through Gyumri.

They were passing through to Gyumri, staying at Vale Hotel. I met a transfer at the airport. They brought to the hotel, settled in a spacious, comfortable room. Very friendly staff. Special thanks to the host, arranged transport to Tbilisi. We will Gyumri will definitely stay at this hotel again ..

Not the cleanliest hotel out there. The floor pf the hotel room was very dusty. We asked specifically for two separate beds, yet when we entered the room, we had to call them back and ask them to prepare two separate beds which was done in front of us, waiting to just have a rest. Breakfast was nice except for the employees fighting with each other just outside the dining room. Overall, below average...

On a snowy night - after crossing the Transcaucasus Mountains and passing through four customs in the Three Kingdoms for hundreds of kilometers, it was already past 2 o'clock in the morning when we arrived, and the landlord still got up to open the door...

Lovely city, and a comfortable place to stay with a friendly and helpful owner. The room was very spacious, and was a great place to rest while I recovered from an intense week. I would definitely stay here again!

Place is hard to find. The B&B is good with nice rooms. The breakfast and diner are generous and therefore far too much and therefore too expensive.

OK in general. Clean Bathroom, Very good Wifi, Polite staff. Dear Owners: Please consider buying new beds and mattresses and of course AC! The Kitchen should be much cleaner. Also, guests should be informed that there is no water in pipes after midnight.

What is unbelivable, is the breakfast time (9h00 to 11h00). 9h00 is clearly too late. 7h30 to 10h00 as usual in other country is the appropriate answer. Therefore i rated "facilities" in such a way.....

This is a lovely hotel with great service and all the amenities… so refreshing after our multiple poor hospitality and hotel experiences during our trip.

The hotel is good, the staff is very polite. The rooms are not bad, we were pleased with the location of the hotel. But the breakfasts, we were upset, poor and of course, there were products from previous breakfasts repeated. If you exclude breakfasts, I recommend the hotel itself. 5/5

Modern, fresh, stylish hotel like you would never exlect in such a small and far away town. Rooms are big too. The only disadvantage was a free breakfast with stale bread and no coffee.

Location is perfect. But the most important thing is that you will get excelent service by the owner.

Great hotel! Rooms are amazing, it's easy to relax in there. Great feature with kitchen , so you can have your breakfast in the hotel. Talking about food there are some restaurants nearby and in addition they deliver right to the hotel! I would recommend this hotel to everyone 💯

Amazing place to stay in Gyumri. We were a group of 6 - 3 families and the place was ideal. Clean, freshly rennovated, hosts are super friendly - there were snacks in the fridge, cozy yard and a secure space to park. Absolutely recommending

Good hotel, I'm here already 3rd time. Hope next time there will be swimming pool. All rooms are clean and comfortable, meals are very tasty. Only some rooms are little noisy, because they are near the street.

Nice hotel with classic style rooms. The rooms are spacious. The bed is very comfortable. There is breakfast. Conveniently located between the historical center and the Iron Flower fountain.

Rooms without AC, it is a big issue during summer times, the water supply is not constant in the morning, no sound proofing, I can literally hear the guy snoring in the adjacent room.

This hotel was the exact example of how every building in this town is - outside its very monotone-looking but had just magneficent architecture inside. Everything seemed to belong in the museums not in a hotel for 20 pounds a room . The service was alright, nothing significant, rooms were tidy, to the workers all the art in the building seemed to be of a normal kind and didn't think we'd be paying...

We're checking out today, and as we're about to leave for a mountain tour that the help desk found for us, wanted to leave a review before we depart. I stayed for one night with my large family. The staff was very flexible in choosing our rooms. The hotel is new and very nicely decorated. The room has everything! Coffee, water, towels, a bathrobe (!), disposable toiletries (floss, comb, toothpaste and toothbrush, lotions, and a shoe sponge). The rooms were very clean and spacious! I will definitely be back!

What a beautiful stay at Armine’s! Armine herself was such a lovely welcoming lady who understood English very well. We were greeted with 2 shots of their homemade rose liquor, sweets and snacks. There was a shelf of the liquor to buy, along with honey and jams. We stayed in the larger of the 3 available options and it was so cosy and homey. My family and I had an amazing stay at Armine's B&B! We take apartments and modern room. The apartments are beautifully styled, cozy, and just as stunning as the photos. The location is perfect for a 5-10 minute walk to the center. The atmosphere is so warm, reflecting the charm of Gyumri itself. The room was spotless, and there was always hot water. Lovely small hotel but the room was narrow without a table. Breakfast was nicely served by the friendly staff as the highlight of the stay. Hours 9-11AM, a bit late or more like a brunch.

This was a repeat stay in this neat hotel, it's 3 storey high, the room we stayed in was spacious and clean. The mattress and pillow comfortable. Although not in the city centre, it's a 10 minute walk to the centre. A decent breakfast was included. A very good quality/price ratio.

The building is very beautiful but this place definitely needs renovation. Mainly plumbing and electricity issues as well as some unfinished walls paint. Other than that, it is very attractive. The service is not really good. The breakfast service though is ok

2022 EDIT: Changing to 3 stars in 2022 (originally reviewed in 2017). The hotel compound is still really beautiful and its very pleasant being inside the courtyard, but the singles we stayed in previously were converted to doubles making for very cramped rooms, and the prices are just way too high to justify these kinds of conditions. There's plenty of other good locations to stay in within the city...

Amazing place! The most beautiful place with unique atmosphere

Stayed here for one night, wonderful boutique hotel. It's run by an Italian man who came to help after the 1988 earthquake and ended up staying, he purchased the buildings, restored them and the inner courtyard, and turned them into Villa Kars. Great example of traditional Gyumri architecture, and the rooms are furbished with interesting things too. The location is great too, right in the old city...

The hotel has a cafe and restaurant. Foreigners are trying to cheat. The hotel has a price list, prices offer others. According to the price, the beer is 500 AMD, with a check of 650, with a bottle of price of 1200 AMD, with a check of 1500, I do not recommend. A suite is not a suite, but a regular room. In other hotels more amenities, the difference in 2000 AMD
