It was nice time me and my Husband spent there.Very good location close to all amenities.

Lovely stay at Madison Plaza hotel. The refurbished rooms are much nicer than the online pictures, if all the rooms are like this once the refurbishment is complete it will be a 5 star hotel. The only thing that held us back from all 5 stars was the fact that the laundry room was closed due the refurbishments. The staff were lovely and the location great. We 100% would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect for sightseeing, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again.

The location is picture-perfect. It’s even better in person. I have the best view from my balcony, as you can see in the photos. On the other side, there’s a view of Castle Hill. The hotel is old and could use some updates, particularly the carpet and the bathroom. There is a washing machine, but it’s not working. Otherwise, my stay has been a refreshing experience in Townsville.

Clean and tidy room, the bathroom had a leak under the sink and the toilet but otherwise it wasn’t a hassle. The location is excellent, especially for kids. We had an extra bed added to our room by calling the hotel directly and paying for it. We had extra blankets and pillows in the cupboard for the bed but had to get extra towels which caused no dramas.

This was not our first stay and in the main it was good. We stayed twice on this trip with a stint on Magnetic Island in between. Service on our departure stay was while not bad was marred by the gentleman who was abrupt and less than enthusiastic about being helpful. Apartment was a reasonable size with an extremely comfortable bed Bathroom needs towel rails. Good proximity to dining and breakfast venues.

Really clean and reasonable condition given age of property. Pool and bbq area is great. Parking was a bit difficult when all rooms booked. Staff were friendly especially Bree the cleaner.

While there the pool was closed for a short period due to 'guest vandalism'. The receptionist at the time was very accommodating as I'd planned to return in the not too distant future. No issue with rebooking !!

Close to both Flinders Street and walkable to The Strand. Staff were very friendly and helpful when needed things done. Room was spacious but is looking a bit run down.

Exactly what we required, a clean room, a swimming pool to cool down, good location and easy walking distance to transport.

Everything was great! We could heat up some food and make some coffee, they left us milk in the fridge. We had hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body soap for the 3 of us! Delightful stay!

Ideally placed close to the Jezzine Barracks huge walking track and The Strand. Clean Unit big enough for 2 people, very quiet area. Only two suggestions, we needed a blanket the nights were quite cool and had to borrow one. We couldn’t get washing dried, no dryer and the clothes line is in shade all day long. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend it to anyone.

We have stayed at Angel Waters for many years while in Townsville for medical reasons. We have always found the owners and staff lovely. The units are been renovated and are clean and tidy. My second time at Angel Waters in 6 months. Stayed both times for 13-14 days and will return later this year for same duration. Newly renovated. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Decent sized fridge, WIFI, smart TV, fully self-contained, enough kitchen equipment, in apartment laundry. I appreciated the mid stay clean and change of linen too. The apartment was nice and clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the linen was nice also. There was everything in the unit that was needed virtually. Only downfall was the junk laying around outside. And the permanent residents parked where they wanted at times. Other than that it was nice and close to the Strand. Walking distance to Main Street.

Has everything we needed for a 4 night stay, nice quiet area.

Our apartment was lovely and clean, the beds were comfortable, shower had good pressure. The kitchen was well equipped. Our parking spot was a bit tricky to get into, if you have a large 4x4 you would have trouble. The apartment is old but the owners have updated the bathroom & kitchen. Accommodation was comfortable and surprisingly spacious. Palm Waters is conveniently located to The Strand. Public transport is 5 minutes away and provides convenient access across Townsville. Good range of restaurants within a 15 minute walk.

Our one-bedroom apartment had access to outside (balcony), extras like washing machine + dryer, well equipped kitchenette, free parking. I appreciate these things. . . but particularly that the staff were always very helpful.

I had a memorable stay here and i will be back again and extend my holiday time in Townsville. Stayed for 8 nights. Room was really clean & smelled fresh. Bed & pillows were like sleeping on a cloud. Reception & housekeeping staff were very welcoming & nothing was too much trouble. This property is basic but fills all your needs. Clean with king size bed. Kitchen bowls plates wine glasses and cutlery. Fresh milk provided too. Great location in Townsville and right next to 7/11.

We came down for a quick stay to go to the Rugby Union. We were there early, the room wasnt ready, but they let us use the pool & amenities until it was ready. Beds were very clean, rooms tidy. Super convenient to everything.

There was mould on the ceiling in the bathroom , got a blanket out to use and it was full of bits of grit, was not like a block of flats with the noise from what seems like longer term customers.

A quite good place for short term stay and also near to stores.

Immediately across the road from the beach, and an easy walk to nearby cafes, restaurants, waterpark, the rockpool and ice creamery. One of the most convenient locations on Townsville's Strand.

The room was clean however ‘fully renovated was a stretch’. Bathroom was pretty scruffy, old shower head, ceiling was not newly painted, stained, door was old. Entry door had no door handle! If the motel is advertising fully renovated then a little more effort required.

Great room, very clean. Receptionist was lovely. Aircon was on so lovely and cool and comfortable when we arrived.

We stayed at this place for one night only. The room was clean. It’s full of backpackers but the place’s maintained clean. The staff was friendly. There were plenty of parkings that are available outside the guesthouse. It’s a nice stay.

Amazing hostel! Can’t fault it. Beds are so comfortable and room is clean and freshly decorated. Toilets and showers were clean and plenty of them. Staff were helpful. Free tea coffee and water station. Kitchen was very clean and had everything you could need. Even an air fryer. Lots of outdoor social space. Pool was big and clean. Showers were hot and powerful. Really have no complaint.
