Great location, easy to find. Parking right in front of the room. Good water pressure in the shower. They require a cash deposit, which is refunded upon check-out. It's an older, small hotel.

Very nice size room. The room I booked had a double plus a single bed and a table with 2 chairs. Toaster microwave and dishes. For the price point I can say that this room represents fairly good value for money. I did read another review before booking that states no power next to bed this is false as there is 2 double outlets under the side tables next to the bed. Location is about 25 minutes from the train station. But there is a 808 bus service that runs on this road for very little money. This bus service runs in a loop around every hour. To go to Middleton beach you can catch the 803 service this runs a loop approximately 3 to 4 times per day. There is a McDonald's Coles and Aldi within close walk next door is chicken treat across the road is a good tackle Shop and outdoor sports.

Though the hotel seems bit kinda retro but very clean and nice king bed .

The room was a bit cramped. There was one bed in the outer room and two single beds in the inner room. With three suitcases (30, 28, and 20 inches) it felt crowded, though you could still walk around. The main issue was having only one air conditioner – an old, noisy window unit. The inner bedroom had no AC at all. This kind of unit hasn't been used in China for 20 years, and it's the first time I've encountered something like it during all my travels abroad; I was quite surprised. You can park directly in front of the door. It's fine for a quick overnight stay. Albany is a pretty cold and windy town, but it's also beautiful and comfortable.

This motel has a very retro style – or rather, it's just plain old. It feels like a 50s or 60s building, and the facilities everywhere show their age:

First, let's talk about the less-than-satisfactory aspects:

· Outdated hardware: The lighting is dim, and the most unbelievable thing is that they're still using window air conditioners.
· Poor soundproofing: The guests next door checked out and left at 5 AM the next morning, and I could hear their car starting clearly. Light sleepers should definitely beware.
· Basic toiletries: While shampoo and shower gel are provided, their quality leaves much to be desired. You need to bring your own toothbrush and cup, which can be a bit awkward if you forget.

But there are also some highlights:

· The shower water pressure is strong and hot, which is perfect for washing away the fatigue after a long journey.
· Family-friendly bed layout: 1 large bed + 1 single bed, just right for three adults and one child.
· Microwave is very practical: In the morning, I heated up the previous day's #1 ranked pie and baguette from Mount Barker and enjoyed breakfast in the room, which was quite pleasant.
· Good location: About a 20-minute drive from Bald Head and only 1.8km from town, making it convenient for visiting attractions and finding food.

Summary: If you're just looking for a cheap place to stay overnight and don't have high expectations for the facilities, this place is barely acceptable. However, if you're a light sleeper or prioritize comfort, I recommend looking elsewhere. It's okay for a casual overnight stay, but don't expect a comfortable experience.

It wasn’t anything special honestly. Location was ok to visit around the area. But is more like a motel than anything. Lady at the front was nice and the cleaning ladies as well. We didn’t saw anyone else. Room had clean towels every day during our stay.

We made a last-minute addition of Albany to our Western Australia trip, booking the Best Western SureStay just a few days in advance, and it turned out to be quite a pleasant surprise!

The location truly is the biggest highlight – it's close to the city center, with supermarkets and fast-food restaurants nearby. Plus, it's a short drive to the Mount Clarence lookout for sunrise views, which was incredibly convenient for our impromptu itinerary. The room was well-equipped with a fridge and microwave, and generally clean, making it a handy stopover for our short transit.

There were a few minor downsides, though: the room felt a bit dated, the air conditioning was a little noisy, and the bathroom tiles weren't as white as they could be. Also, the TV size didn't quite fit the counter and was a bit tilted. But these are small issues; for a last-minute booking, having these amenities was already quite satisfying. It's a very suitable choice for a transit stopover.

Great value for money with friendly staff, plus a bonus point for having a microwave in the room and free laundry service.
However, the hotel is quite old, and our electricity tripped on the first night after using the hairdryer, so we couldn’t use it for the rest of the stay.

Room 3 smelt like sewage from the toilet, aircon was old and noisy. And worst of all water was either scolding hot or freezing cold. No in between.
Went to the reception at 10am, advised that I haven't had a shower yet. They advised that they will get a plumber to the room right away. At 11:20 I called and advised that I am still waiting to have a shower. I was told that plumber is busy. I asked if I could switch rooms, given multiple issues with the room and was told that they are fully booked. This is on a Tuesday during off peak season. So I go on their website and notice there are several rooms available to book for that afternoon. They lied.
I called back twice and no one answered. So I walked to reception again and demanded that either my room be changed or I should be refunded so I can check out. After 5 minutes of argument they agreed to change my room to another room which wasn't much better but at least the shower had working water.
Rude customer service, lying about no available room, and lying about being busy, and poor quality of amenities.

Worst customer service from the Manager Karlia, wouldn't even rate a 1. Extremely rude and doesn't seem to know how to treat people with respect. Will be telling family and friends to never seek their service! Absolutely disgusted
